Well you're in luck, the new valve on the next Luxe has an extremely soft and squishy shot. Got to test one out Sunday.

Really hoping it plays out to be like the Ice shot. I've owned both the X and a few TM40's, just could never get over the shot. Maybe that's just me going from a 2.0 and Ice to them but if I wanted a shot like the TM40 I'd rather shoot an M3+ or CS2 than an inferior GC clone.

It's a GP core clone with really fragile QEV's it's NOTHING like a Luxe Ice / Encore or Shocker SFT/NXT.
It's not bad but those QEV's were a Horrible decision. I just decided to go with a Macdev GT2.. It's even smoother than the Luxe ICE/Epic. not as quiet but smoother.

Don't forget about the Vanquish V16 bolt assembly. ;)

True, but I like the vanquish even more because it removed the damageable spring and modified the o-ring sizes to use the air spring concept. It also does not look like a luxe so that's a plus in my book haha.

@@RepairPaintball Exactly. The fact that the air spring concept didn't make its way to the Encore is disappointing.

Do you have a big supply of those polyurethane O Rings or did you use a kit? Id love to have a kit for my impulse but can't really find one. That marker sounds great.

I have organizers full of Orings. Different material types, hardness, metric vs standard... too many.

They do. They just don't come included for the price.

The good old days of soft swoosh paintball guns. I made a mistake to sell my luxe oled with incredible colors I picked custom😢. I’m not making that mistake with my shocker xls and geo 4 that both shoot like true spool guns.

Love the Geo 4. Such nice and refined platform.

Specific bolts have them. A pretty basic upgrade for the shocker platform.

It’s not the most robust system, but it works when you take care of it.

The ICE system is far more reliable than the old SFT/NXT system thanks to the forward biasing offered by the sprung valve and bolt. It's extremely robust.
The Vanquish V16 is also a "modern Shocker" bolt with a pneumatic forward bias as opposed to the ICE's mechanical (spring) bias. IMO, it's the finest "Shocker-style" bolt system available.
