@jonk9293 if I'm spending that amount of money for a marker they could put some effort in for the inserts. To me it's just lazy.
@@ChadTobin Maybe, but at the end of the day you take the insert and check if the paint is going through it properly. What's engraved on the thing doesn't really matter.

Mixed! It's nice that they finally updated the luxe to a larger oled screen, as this was way overdue. Looks like they took the ERA bolt and trigger moving it into the Idol. Addressed the battery management. Not feeling the large and small-bore insert idea, we were ok with numbered inserts. When looking at both side by side the Idol has a slim but longer look, compared to the tm40 which is a bit smaller but thicker Everyone wanted cocker threads and that hasn't changed and remains ion/luxe threads. New grips, on/off, new voice pack, battery management, new case, bolt tip from the era, Idol and ERA have the same efficiency.... I don't know... Trying to justify $800 for a new OLED screen. 🤔

Please please please do top down camera angles when you are trying to show details in products. I can barley see anything with the guns so far away
I feel like you guys didn't use the overhead view enough. Needed more of that for the unboxing.
its the one issue i had with the video, I kinda wanted the overhead angle most of the time.
@ansgearpaintball it would be good to see if the tm40 mech frame would fit. looks like you would have to remove the valve from the idol if anything, but i'm just spit-balling

does it use a usb-C to charge? how long will batterie last about??? Im kinda worried about the screen location, that's right where my thumb grips tight especially going one handed
There are TM40s with the bolt can design for the oring slot.
Yes there are, but not on all of them.
the new bolt can was on the later model tm40's they released. i have the later model can.
I'm a little disappointed in the core. I would have liked something more to set it apart from the ERA and the TM. Looks like small tweaks and more of the same.
Was the overhead camera footage broken? Your production is usually amazing but this is a bloody mess.

Better grab either a Luxe Ice/Encore or a Macdev GT2. I bought both.
To be honest I prefer my GT2 , but the ICE and the Swap out to the Encore engine in the ICE are good.

Sounds like they corrected a lot of design flaws and poor choices.
What I’m trying to say, is you know how to work on your guns when you buy a marker? It comes with a manual tells you everything. I don’t wanna hear about springs and stuff like that on a video. I want to hear about some discount does that make more sense😂
