Honestly iDom, I almost teared up for you man. Me and my children were cheering you on. I really want you to have Evo on your belt though and the last SFV Evo title would’ve been cool.
Me and my wife was screaming in our house and she doesn’t even watch fighting games nor plays them but when I explained things to her she was hooked and watched all his matches she was pissed when he lost

@@heythatsme5000 Well…nah they’re the Minecraft/Roblox generation and don’t play fighting games too often. It was enjoyable that they didn’t leave the old man alone in watching the EVO Grand Finals though. One of my sons is stoked to learn to do Shun Goku Satsu consistently though😂.

Your run throughout the losers bracket is so insane that it's an achievement in itself, I really look forward to the future man, good ass things! Among the many things thay went wrong in the last fight, the bug whiff freaking blows the most.
its always been a dream of mine to go to Evo, ever since i was a kid. I finally had the pleasure to go this past August with my older brother, and the first thing i said to him when i saw your name in loser's bracket was: "Idom can walk away winning this whole thing." Seeing you make your way through loser's to get to grand finals (and putting on one hell of a nail biting show, might i add) will be a moment that i will remember for years to come. Being in that arena, seeing those matches, and feeling that energy made me feel like i was exactly where i needed to be. The whole arena was in your corner, especially me and my brother. You've inspired me to take my fighting game career more seriously, and i hope to run into you at an event soon, brother. i wish you the best in SF6, and i hope to see you win Evo Japan

Idom has another chance at EVO Japan, I’m so hype for that and also for how he’s going to bring his skills over to SF6. I was never into SFV but Idom easily made it for me. Easily on my top 3 fav fighting game players of all time.

I was cheering so hard for you!! Really glad to see your run. That 24:17 was exactly what I was saying to my friends on WhatsApp during the match, that was supposed to have been fixed according to the patch notes and as you just commented, that would happen during grand finals!!!
The nerve racking situation made both players miss a couple off chances here and there. During the heat of the last matches it was really hard to see the command grab whiff and the v skill meaty miss. But the hardest was the St.mp to the wrong side. Geez Capcom.
And yeah I hope US players participate in other big tournaments like Evo Japan. I'd love to see your Laura at another big stage. Keep up the great work and hopefully Laura get added to sf6

That was the best Top 8 run I've ever seen from someone who *didn't* win Evo. And I don't mean that as a backhanded compliment, this was a performance people will remember for a long time.
