I work with cliebts who have complex PTSD. When trauma is stored in the brain, the negative behaviors associated are repeated, because they usually carry a soothing affect. When someone has a "trauma trigger", their brain almost completely shuts down, working off the Limbic System, and you get a flight, flight or freeze response. Trauma is so tricky, and can be debilitating.
@@mustafaa4614 damn dude way to be offended and aggressively overreact to a funny joke. I'm sorry this is a sensitive subject for you, I hope you get help
Jung was way way way ahead of time... I have nothing but respect for this man... I was sexually abused by my cousin for 3 years... Jung's shadow work has changed my life... How I found Shadow Work & Carl Jung? Thanks to Shia LaBeouf's oscar panel talk & an episode from Naruto Shippuden(where Naruto meets his dark side).... Thank you Carl... 😭
I’m pretty sure that’s from //Two Essays on Analytical Psychology// - critics can say what they want but Jung had some deep insights about the human experience.
"overfeed their wives" - no more than one scoop of dry in the morning and a scoop of giblets in the evening, you can use snacks during the day but only for training.
I feel that it's wrong to explain this without the accompanying exercise routine. That's a long walk daily for firm hindparts. Make sure you're in control at all times during the walk.
So worth going to the source of Carl Jung ... Peterson is so often sadly incomplete when it comes to the wisdom of Jung 💫 leaving an incomplete false sense of what Jung is about, esp. the transformation process. Jung shines a light on, into the mystery of the darkness... “ Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darknesses of other people.” Carl Jung. Instead of projecting your own darkness on others .... which so seems to be at the cruel heart of much of days politics. 💫 for the deeply curious and brave, Jung offers a hope of transformation of the dark shadow into true wisdom. 🙏🏼
Read on the anima and animus. Probably the most profound thing i took from him next to the Shadow. It explains why we fall in love with the people we do. Even if they are clearly bad for us.
It fucking sucks there's no off button 😒 like constantly being electrocuted with a low voltage any time I look to my past for anything relatable boom the fkn ptsd reacts to my adrenaline and I instantly loose intrist it keeps me up at night medications don't help that's probably what made it so bad but yeah constantly discomfortable
My ptsd trauma infects every experience of almost everything I incounter like looking at ⛅️ I just wish my adopted bother didn't sexually assault me like he did
Exec Utize he did but what’s your point? Paraphrasing is still misquoting. The guy who started this comment thread is a pedantic douche, but he technically isn’t wrong.
look at how pleased he is with himself while shitting on someone else in the youtube comment section and implying that callen isnt as good as him because he doesnt know the actual quote word for word like him. lmao what a joke

Good to follow with “Emotion which is suffering, ceases to be suffering as soon as we form a clear and precise picture of it.”
I wanna see Bryan Callen talk to Jordan Peterson about Jung, seems like he'd ask all the right questions.
Joe Rogan did the fusion dance with Jordan Peterson and Bryan was the result
Only real ones understand this

My favourite scholars, Nietzsche and Jung; amazing some of the people that are mentioned on this podcast.
I’m pretty sure that’s from //Two Essays on Analytical Psychology// - critics can say what they want but Jung had some deep insights about the human experience.

“Deep insight” That’s a nice way to put it very lightly
Sanka Perera kind of hard to make a more profound statement at the turnaround of my morning jog man.

And you’ll still be in the comment section commenting on his shit 😂

Ok ,ok .... good chat !
one way to get rid of trauma is to give th same to smone else...
"Nietsche's idea was like 'Look, man, life's a bitch...'"
Pretty sure Nietsche didn't talk like that >_>
Nietsche was a weak bitch who talked big game. That is all

Look how pleased he is with himself while mis-quoting Jung.

He didn't quote word for word but he it was pretty close. Lol
I’d rather hear people misquote great thinkers than talk about pop culture.

😂😂😂😂😂😂 just Tai now just think about
People think too much
Or maybe people dont think enough..
hearing people try to justify blowing all that money on a therapist over and over again gets so old
i mean when money isn't an issue you can do wtf you want.
Roughly speaking.
I love Callen, but as a philosophy major, what he said about Nietzsche missed the mark by so much...
or you could just burn out all philosophies.... And live in the heart like JESUS did...
