The Hound respects bravery.
He respects the fact, that a little girl, despite losing her father and despite standing near a killing machine such as Sandor, doesn't hesitate to show courage, warning him not to mention her father all the while being very direct and open about her intensions and not sucking up to anybody about anything.
Same as him.

I love this. I love her threat. I think one day she will appreciate that he protected her as he could. And if they see each other again, this type of threat will become a running joke between them. Anytime he irritates her it will be “ONE DAY CLEGANE!” Lol

Definite foreshadowing. The Hound won't be happy to see Arya after what she didn't put him out of his misery. Maybe then she'll be a master faceless assassin and they can fight on equal ground.
