    My first issue with my 2017 roadster was a HUGE, pain in the butt. After 500 miles the speedo sensor went out. This stops the speedometer and the odometer. It's one simple little bolt that is in plain sight. BUT, to get to it the exhaust, belt cover and vacuum hoses all have to come off. Pray yours doesn't go out. If it goes out again I'll sell the bike even though I love it. It's that big of a pain to fix.

    i am thinking of buying a roadster...may i ask what your height and weight and inseam is...i had a sportster with mid controls...very cramped and could never make the seat and suspension comfortable...thanks

      Forward controls. Im 5'9" and 190. My bike rips. I got an older bike its an 05 andits 1 thing after another. Only has 20. And 16 of that was after i bought it 16 months ago. If it can fall off it will. Be vigilant and tighten shit constantly. Even if u locktight everything.

    The tires take nitrogen. Have you had to put in some yet? I haven't checked my tires.

    • @Revvinthe417
      @Revvinthe417  7 лет назад

      streetstunna600 Nitrogen supposedly helps maintain your tire pressure for longer. It isn't mandatory that you put nitrogen in. I haven't needed a top off, but when I do I will use a normal compressor.

      nitrogen in the tires ... ha ha ha .. ah ha .. you must be the last dumb fuck who fell for this b/s ..check your air pressure before you ride every time . holy fuck ..

      Roy Rodriguez Really? What do you think the green caps are for? You sound like a tool...

    • @streetstunna600
      @streetstunna600 7 лет назад

      Roy Rodriguez I decided to google it. Slime's Nitrogen valve caps are TPMS safe and their green top is the perfect indicator for a nitrogen filled tire. Our Nitrogen valve caps block moisture to prevent corrosion on all of your valve stems and each O-ring forms an air-tight seal that prevents pressure loss.

      Roy Rodriguez Another from google. If you have a "flat" tire or a situation where most or all of the nitrogen in your tire has been lost, you can also fill it with regular air if necessary, but we encourage you to visit your NitroFill dealer as soon as possible to have the tire(s) purged and refilled with NitroFill so you can continue to enjoy the ...

    Why dint you let the dealer service it so they will see the top triple tree problem?

    • @Revvinthe417
      @Revvinthe417  6 лет назад +1

      Because I do not like spending tons of money on things I can easily do. The fork problem was easily fixed too.

    Harleys always have problems get a kawaski and u won't have to worry about braking down besides their not very stable in the rain

  • @pmay222
    @pmay222 6 лет назад

    Routine maintenance, i could sort that fork in 4 minutes with no torque wrench, harleys shake. . Thats why we like them. .
    My battery terminals vibrated loose. . Easily fixed

    • @Revvinthe417
      @Revvinthe417  5 лет назад +2

      A sliding fork tube shouldn't happen on any bike. A torque wrench is a good idea so you don't crush the fork tubes.

    Dude buckle up. These bikes look cool and sound cool but they are garbage. My 05 literally shook itself loose. At 18000 rocker boxes pissing. 19000 clutch blew itself apart. 20000 oil system failing. Goes on and on. Im a professional tech. I tighten shit 3x a week. Locltight everything. I got a bad bike and i love it. But harley could do much better. They use shitty parts so they can sell u upgrades at bullshit prices. Have fun and cary tools. Your gunna need em
