Ok, the new Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk might be faster, but this one is also impressive!
Under the hood, you will find a powerful 6.4-litre V-8 with Fuel Saver Technology that delivers 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Performance includes 0-60 mph acceleration in 4.8 seconds, quarter mile in 12.8 seconds and a top speed of 160 mph (257 km/h)
Want the vehicle to adapt to your style of driving? The choose between five dynamic drive modes that allow owners the ability to personalize their drive experience whether it's on-road or on-track. The drive modes separately control the four-wheel drive system, transmission, paddle shifters, stability control, suspension, and steering. Drive modes are pre-configured for Auto, Sport, Track, Snow and Tow settings via a switch on the center console, while the Custom setting lets the driver customize the drive experience to their favorite settings! Take note that the new 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee is not made to go off-roading, but it's a blast on the track!

Seems like a walk in the park for Jeep!
jeep grand cherokees are at the top of 4wd systems. the only reason there was the slightest struggle here is because the SRT jeep has such a tight performance suspension
A Land Rover gets through this test with so much more ease.

Land Rover will have to visit the service center after this test for checking the alarm light.
Pretty impressive considering this is the SRT version with a harder suspension and less wheel travel.
Just remember that without lockers it's still two wheel drive basically so if you have a wheel or too off the ground it's not really going to make a difference as long as you have BLD.

Can you tell me the traction mode selected. You must have had traction control off other wise the elevated wheel would keep spinning.

Although this trim is designed for on road, the performance is top and much better than offroad marketed vehicles.
The SRT 4x4 system is tuned for on-road operation, so we see it struggle a little. I hope you guys will get your hands on a regular Grand Cherokee so we can see how it does. I bet it does as well as the Discovery.
they did a 2014 summit and 2018 compass trailhawk also, no problems
