Love these videos! Could you maybe do like a comparison of a certain ‘outfit formula’ in the different style personalities? Like ‘the suit combo’, ‘the moto jacket’, ‘the little black dress’,…?
Thanks for this suggestion Kelly! I have a video in the works after this series is over of capsule items styled in different ways by different personal style types. So similar capsule wardrobe essentials and how the style types wear them. Is that along the lines of what you mean?
I like your videos, thanks for that. Just to add: for me, androgynous is a balance between feminine and masculine. It's mostly masculine but with feminine details. So, for me, it's a suit like the first one but with high heels and bold lips. Not everything masculine. Otherwise, the balance is not there so it's not androgynous( in Greek combo of masculine and feminine), but just masculine. A typical example would be Cara Delevigne with the tuxedo look, high hat, but super high heels (not flats or sneakers).
Erica, you mentioned the way the sleeves were rolled up "high" in one instance, giving the look more structure. I'd love it if you could do a video on this topic, i.e. ways to roll up sleeves to have different effects on a look. I remember when the J.Crew method came out, that's how I rolled all my sleeves! Thanks for your helpful videos. ❤
Thanks for your comment and suggestion Rose! Have you seen this video? It's a really short old one but it shows how to roll up your sleeves: ruclips.net/video/qgFKQ2X6RQM/видео.html
I appreciate the level of detail you get into when describing the different outfits. One thing I was hoping to see was more of a diversity of bodies. Sometimes I wonder if androgynous clothes are only for skinny people and it would have been interesting to see more range.
Thanks for your comment Lauren! Any of these style types can work for any body type. If you love and feel great in Androgynous style (or any other style) then honor that ❤
Very informative video. I enjoyed watching it even though I don’t care about this style. In fact the last couple of years, this style flooded RUclips, stores and I got really tired of it.
Tilda Swinton definitely fits into an androgynous style. I used her as an example in another video for this style type so I tried some other examples.😊

Thanks for sharing! I too personally like to mix in feminine details into my looks.

Glad you still enjoyed it!
I fully expected to see Tilda Swinton when this video started. Too predictable??

Women have much more " menswear " styles than men ! ? What's wrong with this picture ? Only happening since the early 1960's !
That's an interesting observation. Thanks for your comment!
