You have so much to learn, about both guns AND life, little Grasshopper. :-)
man, I love this guy. He's one of the few that just shoots and enjoys it. Everyone else talks, complains, reviews and hardly any raw shooting. Plus he's experienced and friendly. Thats a plus
@mutexnet , I don' t have to adjust much at all with any handgun from 20 to 60 or 70 yards. The Beretta shoots pretty much right on at short and long range; I just have some difficulty with the trigger and grip; you might notice that my misses are often to the right, of all things. It's that trigger issue I talk about, with the trigger too close to the back of my hand.
I traded my Glock 30 for a M92FS yesterday. Glocks are fantastic, but I wanted the M92 because it's what I carried in the Marines. (M9A1).
Man Hickok I love your videos. They are always a pleasure to watch. If I could only watch a single individuals videos, it would be yours.
Thanks for all your gun presentations-appreciated!!!
Just brought a 92a1. Sent 400 rounds through it. It just a great gun. Thanks for the vid. Keep them coming.
I like all of your videos; Thank you for all gun presentations.
Love your range, you should tune those metal targets to play "In the summertime" when you hit them. Thanks for the great videos.
I love my Beretta 92FS, certainly one of my favorites.
No one cares

one of the best shooters on youtube hope you keep making videos for a long time
thanks
I think I'm addicted to your youtube channel! You're a very good speaker, and knowledgeable. It's fun to your excitement, even though I'm sure you've fired tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of rounds. Keep up the good work!
My carry guns are S&W Mod 36 and 60 snubbies, however the Beretta 92 FS is my "go to house gun". I really like it.
thanks hickok for the reply been a long time sub of yours but everytime i go to comment a post u have already made another great video.im a newbie in the guns just got my first g-30 and boy do i love it u have taught me a lot bout feild strip cleaning etc great work i must say.im from california so its real hard to get guns put this way..keep up the great work sir...
I really enjoy your videos bud!! Great work!!
Man Beretta's are soo beautiful in design !! I have the ghetto red head brother in a Taurus pt92 but I love it to death, no malfunctions and costs less but Beretta 92 and 1911 are one of my 2 favorite pistol designs ever !!
Good looker and good shooter. Thanks hickok, i pick mine up next week!!
Boom! great vid mate - love the little laughs between rds haha
92FS is my first and only semi auto as I'm primarily a revolver guy. But I love to carry this gun when I can dress for it.
Same here!
Same here, exept the carry part (not allowed in switzerland) ;)
Awesome video! I was just shooting my 92FS yesterday. :) So far I have put about 1000 to 1200 rounds from 4 different manufacturers through it (including hollow points) and I have yet to have a failure with it.
I realy like the super close-ups of the gun. You also did that on the SR9C videos. I like to see the close details of the gun and you give that to us. Thanks, great job.
Hickok can you Plz do a video on a Taurus PT92 pros and cons vs the Beretta 92fs? Your the best I have watched every video you have posted. Thanks mpiehl65
this beretta vid and ur other
made me go get the Beretta 92fs...i LOVE it
put a steel guide rod in for the plastic one

my Beretta is now PERFECT for me..
thank you for all videos!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for your video. It's absolutely a fun gun to shoot. Great for defense. We enjoyed watching your videos.
Great demonstration on the Beretta
awesome vid Hickok. my father and me own a 92 fs and it was our very first handgun to have
I love it when you talk about the guns. I have seen a million people shoot the gun. I want to hear about it.
Another great video Hickok!
You gotta love the beretta 92 fs! I prefer the Italian model but the USA made Beretta is nice too. Damn Hickok! You sure know how to shoot those handguns.
You did Beretta good. Very good review. I myself have owned several over the years and I have ran over 10,000 rounds through them, including 1,000+ at the local police academy. I have fed them everything from federal hydrashock to winchester silvertips and blazer aluminum cased ammo, no failures, none, zip. They do have a unique trigger set on single action. I love it, but then I am use to it. The PB stamped mags are factory. Thank you very much for this review. BTW, thats one tough hog!
another great video :) Keep it up hickok45!
Love the berretta such a great firearm...
Hickok needs to get on top shot! Win it for sure!
Hickok is the only man with hands that are TOO BIG for the 92FS. Friggin legend.
That's a nice gun for sure . think I'll go out and buy one . You do a good job there on your videos . And I watch them all.
Captain Hook
Really nice camera and camera work John. Ill be looking for one of the Berettas next liking what im seeing. Hows the cleaning on them ?
Just wanted to say hello and comment that I really enjoy your videos. I have just picked up my 2nd 92FS and really enjoy this firearm. I shoot it better than every other handgun I have owned and appreciate your attention to this weapon. I know you're a Glock guy (understandable) but I really appreciate your objective discussion of firearms in general and find your vids very informative. One last note, just want to commend you on your outstanding marksmanship. I really enjoy watching you shoot.
Great vid. I've had one of these since about 89. still enjoy it but I have 2 travel a few miles out to the country to shoot. Your the reason I also got the bug for a 1911. always liked them but alway's found something different to buy. Picked up one last year on GB. Ithaca upper on a 1918 colt frame. Now I want a couple more!!
Pythons, Mark V Troopers now 1911s.
Thanks alot Hickok...
Liked your Symphony!! Hickok45 the Beethoven of Guns considered by some to be the greatest piece of music ever shot!!!!!!
92fs my first gun love it.
hey eric r ... where do you expect the brass to land??? in a bucket for easy clean up??
You have WAYY too much fun! God bless my friend!!!
awsome gun love your videos
lol i used to do that on the issc m22 ejecting a good round out of the chamber when u load the mag the feeling is like darn that was still a good round
Easily the best channel on youtube.
I just got to shoot my friends Beretta yesterday. Really impressed by the fit and smoothness of operation. Nice grip (i have big hands). I'm used to my Taurus 24/7 pro trigger (my first handgun four years ago) and have heard a lot of negative for it's pull too. That said, i did notice on this gun, it was a little troublesome keeping from pulling to the left a bit. Just takes a little getting used to. Planning on adding to my collection one day. Amazingly well made, fit and finish.
Really enjoyed the video. I just got a new (to me) M92 and can't wait to shoot it!
Hickok45 ROCKS!!
this is my first firearm ive ever bought and i really enjoy it a lot.
excellent video, excellent shooter, have my respect sir...
Hi hickok45, I learned alot from your videos enjoyed everyone of them specially when you shoot the Beretta 92fs I just picked mine up today cannot wait to shoot it this weekend at the range. Had a Sig Sauer SP2022 pretty nice, light gun but not to crazy about the polymer frame I prefer metal feels better in my hand, what do you think of the Sig pro2022? Keep the good videos coming be safe!!!
Great video as usual
Excellent shooting! Love my 92G.
@TheBluepits , What can I say; what you see is what you get when we turn on the camera! :-)
One of the best side arms ever ! When my dad served during the cold war this was the pistol of choice. The primary rifle then was the FN FAL 7.62.
It's nice to see that I'm not the only guy who sometimes has a bad day at the range. ;)
Thank you Hickok45 for making this video. I recently took up pistol shooting, much thanks to you. My first 9mm was a Beretta 92FS. I love shooting it, I love the grip, the looks and how is always goes bang when I want it to. The only bad thing is that trigger, but I'll get used to it, I guess. I love your videos, particularly when you shoot "my" gun. If I dare make a request: could you please shoot the Walther PPK .380 acp some time soon? Perhaps you could borrow one to shoot?
that is a nice Beretta someday I will own that weapon real soon very good shooting
Yes, those shiny 17 round magazines are Beretta made and come stock with the A1 models.
great video Hickok45, I was just wondering, does this berretta have a decocker?
Got a 92fs as well as a m9a3. The FS is a compact and carries well. Great shooters as you say. Reliable. The double to single action doesn't bother me much although I agree that a single action trigger is ideal. Overall just love the platform.
How important are the bullet grains and what do you suggest I should use for my 92fs as far as grains and brand. I plan to stick with just one kind as much as possible. Thanks for your videos. They're all informative.
Hickok45: The Grandpa we all wish we had.
Great vid. Can you comment on your technique - do you find the 92fs shoots about 1 ft high at 20 yrds? Higher than normal when first crossing upwards of the line of sight? Yet you are right on with it. Any tips on anything you do differently for long / short distance aiming appreciated.
It is fun to watch you shoot! Thanks! ...And if you ever get the chance... A 230 yard Glock 26 vid would be nice. I know I couldn't hit a mountain side at that distance but it is a lot of fun to watch you do it... Life is good!
Nice gun, fun to shoot, pretty accurate!!!
Beretta , making firearms for 500 years:" We got this " they say.
greatly enjoyed
Just got the Inox version and fairly new to shooting. Do you line up the dots over the center of your target with this model? I seem to shoot low and read about different sight pictures for different pistols?
Very good starter, doesn't need as much servicing as a lot of 9mm, light-to-moderate recoil for it's chambering, and very easy to find replacement parts.
Just shot one of those today at the range, definitely a good one.
preatty good at long range shoots
your backyard is awesome
Mr. Hickok, please don't listen to people who say that you are too talkative. Those people are foolish because they have no interest in learning some of your knowledge about firearms and the only want to see you hit a target. That is nonsense. If they dislike your style, then they don't have to watch your videos. You should share as much knowledge as possible; I think that proving firearms as a legitimate and safe hobby can help preserve our second amendment.
I practiced with the 92/F9 because I was forced to, as that was what was issued. A couple of thousand rounds later, I grew to love it. Now days, and more than a few thousand rounds later, should some zombie show a little too much skin at 100 yards, then the game is over. I might possibly modernize, but I now have too many holsters, mags, and assorted parts and pieces to attempt to make the change. Practice does not make you perfect, but it helps.
@MayDog961 , Ain't it great! There were two different neighbors shooting yesterday afternoon, one hunting doves, I think, and the other was practicing for deer season, I believe. Must be strange for people in some other gun-restricted countries to visualize ( England, Germany, California, New Jersey, Ilinois, etc.)
You're my favorite.
But it seems almost as if you do your best shootings, with that 92FS.
You make me want to buy (1).
lol.
God bless, to you, and the whole family
you sir, are an excellent shot! you're my idol!
great video....luv my model 96
hey hickok nice shooting anyways i really know that any gun you shoot u do that really well.my question is im goeing to buy another glock its the 30 whats the differentce SF or regular and also are you goeing to be on TOPSHOT-2?
Hey hickok45 are you right handed left eye dom? just an observation. I love your videos!!!!!!
I like the beretta a lot. Has pretty good accuracy too.
will you get a sig or hk to do a video in the future ? nice videos thumbs up :D
@reaperflynn3 , It's a gorgeous gun and seems to be a piece of quality craftsmanship, but I have to agree with you.
Have you ever shot the Taurus Pt 92? That would an interesting review for you guys to do!
Yea I'd like that too.
Hey Hickock, do you have any opinions on the older (first generation) Taurus PT99s? I bought one used and I've not had problems with it yet, save the fact that it needs a new recoil spring. I've heard people say that older Taurus pistols are better than new ones and vice versa. Just wondering if you had any thoughts!
Nice Vid! I own a Beretta 92 FS too, and it´s the best pistol for left-handed like me! Safety on both sides, and you can mount the magazin-button on the other side if you want! I go to shooting-competitions here in germany, and I wouldn´t change it for a Glock, even not for money! I hate that " plastic-pistols"! The Beretta 92FS is a real classic, and real classics never dies! Thank you for posting!
Awesome pistol!
I love watching him reload..
Not bad, that long range shooting, The font sight completely covers the target and then some
you are very good with
guns
Nice Mr hickok45!
any thoughts on the fireing block breaking in the f model because it broke on me and it sure was interesting
You just miss once in a while to make us all feel better right Hickok45?
Great Gun from what I can tell, have not yet shot one but they also have a great reputation. I havent found a gun that is as comfortable as the Glock yet.
Okay, I recently bought a Taurus PT 92 C and in researching about it in regards of magazines and parts if in needing to do any service work on it if Beretta parts can be used on it since Taurus used the factory in Brazil that was originally contracted out by Beretta? When Beretta was contracted to produce parts there for the Brazilian Military and Law Enforcement.
I own 3 Berettas and absolutely love them, carry an 85F edc. I shoot better with other Handguns, but there's just something about these unique Pistols that I love.
After buying my Glock 19, now I am always seeing the Beretta 92FS and wishing I had bought it instead :( The trigger was the only reason I did not buy it first. I have seen you easily take out the long range targets with the Glock.
The 92 FS was my very first handgun purchase I ever made ...I Really like it ;)
are those higher capacity magazines a little longer or do they have less spring in them? Just curious how one Beretta mag can hold 15 and the other 17.
