I enjoyed this video. It’s good to see videos like this of people trying to use more of their stash. Idk about anyone else but it really bothers me when I have things sitting around that I don’t use.

I can totally relate to feeling shocked at how much I actually spent on stationery over the last few years! 😥 I can't say I regret it because the online community has been the best one I've participated in, but I also can't say all the shopping came from a healthy place. Nowadays, I've been finding a lot of satisfaction using what I already have and reclaiming the money I spent. 💕

I agree! It’s so motivating to see all your stationery empties as well. I can definitely say all my shopping did not come from a healthy place. And what’s worse, I have been been disappointed or the novelty has worn off of the items and they get thrown aside. I always imagine that feeling when I start thinking about buying something new😅.

I love that you're shopping in your current stash and being creative to fit your changing needs!

Hi Sarah. I am so feeling the…enjoy what you have thinking. What has been helpful for me has been looking at what I have when there is something I want and I ask myself:
    1. Is it better than something I already have?
    2. If yes, why? How so?
    3. What is something important in my life that I am saving up for? If I make this purchase, how will it affect this very important goal in the future?
    4. After answering these questions is it really worth the cost?
And I will wait to purchase, because the first time I go through these questions my answer is always “YES, IT’S TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!!!” Hahahaha.
And just being kind to myself and my past purchases. The money has already been spent, I’m just going to enjoy all my beautiful things, because they are beautiful…just like yours are. I love your talent in making your own TNs! They are beautiful!

I love how you broke down those really insightful questions! Another thing I like to ask myself is “will it be my favorite?” Oftentimes I want something just because it’s new and interesting but the novelty wears off quickly leaving me preferring a similar item I already have!

I love how you found "new things" in your stash. Giving me ideas I didn't know I needed 😁😉 Thank you for sharing!

Nice way to approach wanting a refresh because I’d bet that most of us have what we need already lying around. I did that with jotting down my open tabs, and it is so satisfying! I feel like I’m legitimately documenting it.

Thank you Sarah. I get a tear in my eye listening to you because you bring me such peace and joy. Just know you are love and adored. Can you demonstrate how to apply sticker to your standard sticker insert? that must take a lot of time and patience but I love it. Thank you for sharing all your ideas and all you do. Luv, Cynthia 🙏✍

Thank you, sweet Cynthia! I always appreciate your support. And you’re right, transferring stickers to the sticker paper insert is time consuming and boring. But once you do the majority of it, it’s quick to fill in the gaps going forward.

Sarah~I would love to hear your thoughts on what has brought you to the point that you would not spend that kind of money now for journaling items. I know you've briefly discussed groceries and gas budgeting and keeping track of what your spending. Also you've discussed your no spend but what changed? Is there a moment or is it the state of the economy? Also, have you minimized your supplies? (though, I don't recall you every saying that you have lots of stickers, stamps, paper, etc) Anyhoo~Thank you so much for another wonderful video. Also, thanks so much for sharing your sweet face with the last video. It's so nice to put a face to a voice. :) 💕

Honestly, the economy and inflation has motivated me a lot. It’s also been weighing on me that we’re so close to being debt free and I want to double down on that-and free my husband from working so hard! Since we lost a daughter last year I’ve been committed to anything that will maximize family time. I have minimized my supplies A LOT but it was mostly due to moving several times and being forced to declutter. And I love the result! Thanks so much for watching😊

I love that you have found your way back to the passport size! It’s so satisfying to discover something at home is a perfect solution to a current need. And the passport is still my fave size to journal in, even though I change sizes with every new journal. When I come back to it my heart cheers! 🤘🏼😸🧡

Love your passport TN! I've been going back to my existing covers too and looking at what I spent on things. Commonplace book in a passport size is genius, I think I'll try using mine for that purpose (it's been lonely and waiting for me to pick it up :)

🙌 I also think passport is great for commonplacing because I don’t always have a lot to write and I can fill them faster than a larger size!

I sold most of my leather covers a few years back. I still have all the ones I made plus a few from odd shops I didn’t want to get rid of. I’m planning to do an updated cover collection soonish!

With the way things are going the TSL Utility will be 300$ soon...
I totally agree about the zip interior, could have been bigger. I ended up placing a Rickshaw 3 pen sleeve (with the Beautiful Artwork) sandwiched in between the Spaces! Works a Treat
    🧁
Hope they release a Blue version again, kicking myself for not picking that up.
Im enjoying using the things Ive got since 2020, Its been cathartic to say the least.
