I only use monthlies anymore for planning! I find I really like having the whole month to view things when making plans/to dos so I can see what I’m working with better 😊
Standard size for planning is my everything. It's just the absolute perfect size. I'm a monthly girl myself. If I could only have one insert, a monthly with some notes pages would easily get the job done for me. I've used the Traveler's Company dated monthly for the past three years. Side note: If you're not familiar with Dr. Stephanie Estima, I highly recommend her content. She has a whole series on eating and moving in harmony with the menstrual cycle. She has a podcast as well as a channel here in RUclips. Great video!
I find myself gravitating to the standard size so much lately. It is definitely a great size for planning! Thank you so much for the recommendation! I’m going to check her out 🤗
Special word: This stuff is beautiful. Finding a nice planner is not easy, but it is highly technical. It is a world in its own but once you find one then it is all beautiful. June 15, 2023. USA.
I’m using only a monthly calendar right now, as well. Loving it. I found the re-writing of things onto my weeklies and dailies to be repetitive and a time suck. You mentioned you write your to-dos on your monthly; where do you write tasks that you don’t/can’t assign a day to? Like, something that needs to be done during the week, but you just don’t know what day you’ll get to it? Thanks!
For the to-dos that I don’t/can’t assign, I will either use a small sticky note and write them down on there to keep them visible in my monthly, or I’ll write it down on a day I think I can do it and move it to a different day as necessary. The second option is kind of a pain to do (because of the constant crossing it out and rewriting it on a different day), but thankfully I don’t usually have many tasks that I can’t assign to a specific day to get it done. Hope that helps! 💕🤗
@@journaltimewitht thank you! I run on more of a monthly/weekly list than a daily, so I’ve been using the page in between my monthly spreads for that. But maybe I’ll try assigning some tasks to specific days and writing in my monthly calendar boxes, to keep me more focused on a daily basis. Love your TN cover, btw! I am using a Hazel by planner perfect.
@@treehugger2718 A commonplace book is essentially a notebook that you put anything and everything you want in to it, whether it be miscellaneous notes, references, articles, pictures, journaling entries, etc. You can use a system to keep track of what’s in the book to make the material easier to find like some people do (myself included) or it can be as messy as you want. It really can be used for anything! Hope that helped ☺️
I love love your commonplace book! How funny that I am also planning to record my reading by documenting quotes only. I'm not one for writing reviews or giving stars. Do you have a Goodreads account? I keep my TBR list there so it's easy to scroll and pick a book. I think it's wonderful to be able to have lots of books to look forward to. 😊
Thank you so much! 🥰 I don’t currently have a Goodreads account, but I’ve been meaning to set one up soon. That’s such a handy feature to have all your TBRs in one place like that. I love documenting only quotes because I figure, the quotes I pull from the book is all the review I need from it. The more quotes I pull, the more I enjoyed the book! 🤗
Is this the same size cover as Chic Sparrow calls their Personal/B6 Slim/B6? The don’t have a standard one in their options. Or is it the narrow one? Could you measure yours and send me dimensions?
@@journaltimewitht thank you! I have a Scout in a B6 cover and would love to get it for my TN but wanted to make sure it had a decent amount of strings. :)
Love the monthly only idea 😮 I am trying to put planning and journaling all in one place

This would be considered Chic Sparrows “Narrow” size 🤗
How many strings does the Scout come with, just out of curiosity?
It comes with 4 strings 😊
@@journaltimewitht thank you! I have a Scout in a B6 cover and would love to get it for my TN but wanted to make sure it had a decent amount of strings. :)
Which clear cover do you use for your stalogy?
I use a standard size LaurenPhelpsDesign cover for it 🤗 I’ll put the link in the description for you!
