My sister used a Traveler’s notebook for all of her journaling and work planning. We lost her to cancer in December so hearing you talk about how much you love yours reminds me of her. My heart feels warm and fuzzy. Thank you! ❤
this was really interesting! i love the look of the traveler’s system but i never manage to get on with it. maybe one day 💭 thanks for sharing, your books are always super lovely to look at!
thanks, Megan! Your pages are so beautiful and inspiring as well. I’m off to watch the Filofax update. I always thought strings didn’t work for me, but I guess I need to stop saying “never” 😅 bc they’re working really well and I’m feeling very creative.
I also use Renapur to condition my Traveler's Notebooks (2); one for planning and the other for Journaling. I fell down the rabbit hole in 2020 and haven't looked back. I love the vibe.
I love how you spend the time each night/every day to journal! I’ve tried getting into the habit (and might be better when I’m at school) but I have no energy after working all day to even think about journaling 🫠. I’m open to any and all tips for slowly integrating journaling or even micro journaling into my days 😅
Thank you! I started journaling regularly by incorporating it into my planner since I was already pretty good about picking that up daily. Once I got used to journaling daily and wanted more room I moved it out to a separate notebook. I’m always more consistent when it’s part of my planner so even in this I’ll drop off here and there which is normal!
I started journaling first thing in the morning, not in the evening. I found that trying to reflect before going to bed was too much but reflecting in the morning about either the day before or the day to come is much more enjoyable.
Omg I love love love my travelers. It's my EDP and so my wallet is also in it. I also switched to a thicker TN from Archer and Olive. I just can't get enough of the TN size 😄 thanks for showing us your set up, going to try and get more watercolors back in my journal for sure ❣️
I’ve been using a TN since January and have enjoyed it but recently been swayed by Hobonichi Hon release coming up that looks pretty. You reminded me of the reasons I love using TN so I’m convinced to stick with it. Something satisfying about archiving the same style books over time too.
I absolutely love your planner layouts. I wish Traveler's would sell an ivory grid refill, and not just the white grid refill. I might have to give in and get the blank ivory refill.
Unfortunately Fujihira-san, Inukshukjapan, is not selling on Etsy right now. I was lucky to score a Starbucks Roastery passport size in camel the last time he was selling. He even sent me a 10 yen piece as an extra so both that and the sakura charm are gracing my edc. You inspired me to move into TN. I used to post as Andrea Silver, but am diving into the RUclips art world, so this is the new me. LOL I think the TN brand covers are definitely worth the price. I absolutely love those two doodle perks. You are growing by leaps and bounds in your art journey!! Have a wonderful week.
Hi Lindsey!!! Wondering if you are able to remember where those tabs on the yellow insert are from? Thanks so much! Love your content btw!!! You are on my list of inspirations lol
Thanks Lindsey - I enjoyed the Video and you have a new subscriber. I am constantly trying to find the perfect Binder and briefcase (my wife calls it an obsession) - In any case - I am looking to come around to the TN. I like the insert options and the simple leather I will catchup on your other videos but how do You like the TN Still? I think the best foot print for me is the Moleskine Large but in terms of carrying it with me everywhere you can beat the TN Standard or even better the Pocket.
Sooo sweet and tempting! I've never tried strings before but after some trial and error, I've concluded my journal needs (lol?) are nice cream paper, less than a year's worth of commitment and maybe some fun? Strings might be it! What would you say are the biggest downsides of the system? Just getting prepared haha
The strings have a bit of give to them so sometimes it’s not a perfectly stable writing experience - but you can take the inserts out of the cover if it gets too bad
Long time fan, Lindsey. I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind sharing which Renapur product you use to condition your TN and maybe even your methodology. Might not be a bad video idea, as well. Thanks for your great work. 🙏🏼
sure thing - I use Renapur leather balsam (I found mine on amazon). as for technique I'm still learning. I found a few youtube videos and rolled with it. my balsam came with a sponge. I'll dip the sponge into the product starting with just a few dabs, then I'll swipe from top to bottom on my TN until everything is covered and I'll keep rubbing it in from there. usually redip before I do the back. hope that helps
Also, I love my TN. I've had it for at least 8 years. This year is the first year I used any of their pre-printed inserts (the yearly calendar). I like what you've done with this one. It's tempting to get.
Up until recently, I didn’t know of travelers notebooks, & I’m impressed. This system seems to be what I’ve been wanting for years. Is there a good time of year to get into it? Is there a specific time of year when they release new lines?
They have undated versions of their inserts year round - so if you don’t mind dating things they’re pretty easy to take up any time. I believe the 2024 inserts will release end of September / early November but haven’t seen an official date
Hey Lindsey, does the De atrametrius (sp?) ink take the Zebra Mildliner highlighter or does it smear? I’m having such a hard time finding a fountain pen ink that can take highlighter!
I really, really want to ove to a Traveler's Company journal next year but I’m afraid the paper is too thin and all my Tombows will ghost. Do you have that issue? I need something that is easy to throw in my backpack and my Archer and Olive is just toooooo chunky!
I think it’s going to depend on the type of inserts you choose. If you used the travelers branded inserts with Midori md paper I don’t notice any ghosting with tombows etc. I’d guess the gsm is closer to 100 - so much thinner than a&o’s 160. I think I’ve seen notebook therapy come out with some travelers inserts in the thicker paper though!

I’m glad this video could give you some comforting feelings 💕 thanks for watching ❤️🩹
You have a beautiful angel to watch over you. Blessings.

I would use the future log as a daily gratitude!
I love having it in one place as it's good to see all the good together if I need a pick-me-up
This is a great idea 💕
I love TN, I use it as jounal for my trips, together with all the insers is simply the best I found
I love how you spend the time each night/every day to journal! Maybe start with just one short sentence a day. Or even just one key word. - Could happen you catch yourself writing way more soon. ☺️
Enjoy! 💚

I just got a TN and I’m itching to start using it and this is helpful in giving me ideas !!!

Enjoyed this video 😊 going to be in a standard TN as my journal and excited. Got some good ideas

Looking forward to seeing how you are using it as a work planner. Just found your channel 😁. Great stuff 👍.

Thank you! I wish they’d do an ivory grid too 🙈
Love this, thanks for sharing! I bought my first Standard TN in the new Olive which I plan to use for my 2024 EDC 😁
Yay! Exciting and excellent color choice!

@@lindseyscribbles Thank you so much!! It's really taking me out of my comfort zone. lol
I'm waiting for you to bujo in it 😂😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤

Same!

I love the ambiance! Also would be lovely to see a mixed footage of you in front of the camera along with this standard you’ve established.

Very nice >>>>> Thank you
I have the exact same bad habit. Though admittedly it been very hard for me.
Awesome Video!! Do you know when the 2024 Vertical Dated inserts come out?
I think late September early October based on when I ordered last year
awesome video

Do you have a link for those specific tabs? I can't find them and I love them.

I highlight after with mine and don’t have any smearing. It does need a good amount of drying time before you do it though! At least a couple minutes
What is the square thing that has AirPods in them? Is it just a case? It’s so cute! Love your vids ❤
They’re my headphones, the nothing (2)!
May I ask where you purchased the date stamp you use in your diary?
It’s the Trodat 4810 I found on Amazon!
