BIG SHOUT OUT to our good friends Jordan JMS Drums for the AMAZING new intro and David Whitaker, for the crazy awesome motion graphic!

This was during their 10 Year Anniversary Concert in Yokohama and the stage was incredible. They were even able to walk around the entire second deck while performing. The entire Concert was amazing.
Very cool!
How many bass/lead guitar "conversation/duels" do you ever see it rock?! These five young women are SO talented and technically sound. What a gift they are to rock!!!!!
I agree 100%!!!!
The showdown is strictly in the LIVE version only. It's not in the studio version, although, Kanami-san's guitar solo (w/ the tapping) is part of the song.
Very cool!
Thanks Eric! Great reaction! Has to be the coolest bass / guitar battle I've ever seen! My favorite Bandmaid / Lovebites / Nemophila song is [insert the name of their next release here...lol] Japanese girls know how to GET IT! They live and breathe this stuff and obviously put in the work! Then tell you they will "try harder" or "do our best" next time. Thanks again!
YDM!
I appreciate that, Glen! So glad you're enjoying these! The mind set of "keep making it better" is what makes any musician go from good to great.
@@DrumAttic Unfortunately the music industry in the states and (most of) our general attitudes have kind of killed it. We just fix it post production. We have to leave the awesome "live" performances up to Japanese females now....lol
BAND-MAID = five gorgeous forces of nature. What a fcken band Po, right time for some beer and more B-M, life is good Po 👍🍻🎼
No doubt!
I love this girls nice reaction greeting from germany
Yes! They are amazing! Thanks for watching!
MISA!!! MISA!!! MISA!!! 🥃🥃🥃 an intense "conversation " between MISA and Kanami
So good!
Great reaction video!!!!!!! Your the best Eric
Thanks so much, man!

Hooray Eric is back with the Maids 🎉
I’m so proud of you catching MISA’s newest technique of hybrid picking!
This solo section has the perfect shot to show it. Just one pop here, but I have no doubt she’ll experiment more in the future. The first time I noticed it was in “Shambles.”
The bass/guitar battle happens again at this Yokohama concert in “Don’t you tell ME,” which I personally consider a much better song. And Akane’s wonderful, ethereal drum support during it gets overlooked.
However…for my favorite drum analyst…I would kindly & respectfully request you check out the “White Room” instrumental version of “Giovanni.” Not at all for the faint of heart.
It’s arguably one of Band Maid’s most progressive compositions. (I still haven’t figured out the time changes) 🤘🏽
Completely agree. Eric's the only reactor I've seen that caught MISA's hybrid picking.
Boy, I'm glad I caught it! :) As a drummer and being around bass players I tend to notice whether or not they're using their fingers or a pick. Thanks so much for taking the time to watch and comment.
They do the same back and forth in the live of don't you tell me but the whole vibe is a pink Floyd vibe. It's awesome
Super cool! I'll have to check it out!
Great reaction and they normally do something similar to this bass/guitar exchange in their live concerts, but not so much on the official recordings (except for DICE and No God).
Nice! Thanks for watching!
It's amazing how Band-Maid has rewritten the laws of nature: Hate brings Love! 😖--->🎀--->😍

I didn't know that! Super awesome! Thanks for sharing!

cool !!!
Thanks for watching, Erica!
This was originally done for Lolapalooza, but the sound wasn't up to BAND-MAID standards, but at least we got the Call & Response "Battle". And the Technical Director seemed to be in love with Akane. So if you want more "Drum Cam" for this song you should watch that version of 'Hate?' LIVE.
Thanks for the info!
I think that the ? is a Japanese pun for the english word hate.
If I understand the translation correctly, the Japanese word that sounds like the English word “hate” is used in questions and translates to “what?” I take it as the Maids showing a sarcastic sense of humor.
Thanks for sharing!
Very talented girls, but I don't understand how many people call them metal or even hard rock to tell you the truth(Not saying you do). They're basically progressive rock with some hard rock influences.
I think that's a fair analysis. Certainly incorporating some elements from different styles, but I think they have a distinctly unique sound for sure. Progressive rock, though, sounds like an accurate description.
👍👍Excellent. BAND-MAID rocking the house and us. 🖖❤
Thanks for watching and commenting!
Red Hot Chilli Peppers incorporate a guitar/bass soloing interlude during their set, but not to the same degree as Band-Maid, who usually have few of these great moments in their set.
Yes, they did another one during Don't You Tell Me. Worth a watch for sure.
I love it!
😁
Thanks for the visit!
Well done 🤘🏳⚧🏳🌈(⚵⚶⚴𓌂𓐍𓏏𓁐⚳⚢⚸⚑☭)🦘
