It’s because this product came out before the mic 2 release so they didn’t want too shout out about it until that product came out!

Those low light shots are unbelievably clean. I didn't see Pocket 2 as an upgrade but the Pocket 3 is clearly a huge step up from the OG Osmo Pocket.
A7s3 low light is unbelievable. This is average.

Pretty solid update. Image quality is solid (like a ZV1) but with a proper builtin gimbal and overall smaller package with wireless audio. The most important part is getting the camera out and filming and the Pocket 3 is awesome for this!
Love how DJI never stops pushing the limits. They do not always make great things. But they make a lot awesome stuff. My current best experience is the Air 3 drone❤❤❤
Great review! I love how you took it to different spots to highlight how the camera would behave in different conditions. Removing the fuzzy thing from the mic was also very helpful to demonstrate the difference in audio quality. This was a very thorough review. Really appreciate the time and effort you took to put this together, especially since it wasn't sponsored.
You should recommend them making an Osmo Pro. Take the 3 lens gimbal camera on the Mavic 3 Pro and put it on an RS3 battery grip. I'd buy it instantly
I will never forget the time I spent at the Korean Bell and walking down to the "stairway to ocean". I used to travel all the way from Pasadena on public transport. Sitting around all these spots early in the morning covered by the misty morning air and glow. Perfect place to fly my dji mini 2. Thanks for the throwback :)

Finally they updated this one... finally it's at a level that makes it a confident portable choice... amazing for travel vlogging at those times you can't be wiping out a big camera setup... through airports or small shops etc

I have a pocket 2 that never gets used just goofy little camera and the bit right on these things always bounce around making it shitty to edit.

dude what! that image looks ACTUALLY GOOD. I have the Osmo Pocket 1 and I rarely use it on a project where I have my actual camera out. I was even thinking of picking up a new GoPro just for the boost in image quality but this camera is insane.
I love this! You do the best reviews! I have the Pocket 2, but it appears I'll be upgrading to the Pocket 3 before my I go on my 500 mile El Camino de Santiago hike next year!

@@meninim5054 Batteries naturally degrade, but they usually don't completely stop charging in just two years. Maybe try it out before making a call on that.

Just ordered the Creator’s Combo and yes, it is definitely bang for buck. High quality image with a built in gimbal? It will cost even more on the Zv-1 Mk2 + gimbal 😅 Wow oh wow! The image quality is a really big step up from Pocket 2. No more blown out image like before 😆
also you get about 4 huors battery time with the extra battery handle and that's super handy!
This is smaller than a ZV-1 II + gimbal and it records 10-bit footage unlike the ZV-1 II. The Pocket 3 doesn't have a zoom lens though and it records audio to lossy AAC rather than uncompressed PCM
Just got my new ZV1 ii and saw this video. Do you think it's worth it to sell my Sony and get this pocket 3 instead? for vlogging
@@JKTDELICACY i had the same scenario as you before. I did not regret selling my ZV1 and opt for the Pocket 2 during that time. It depends on your need as you may like the zoom and camera function on the ZV2 😉

Damn, this looks like a incredibly versatile tool. It also may be a near perfect hands free POV setup for low-ish light. ZV1 is a bit heavy on a bite mount, especially with a wide angle adapter.
Lets hope non face detect autofocus is good enough.

I feel like I always miss seeing you at the PV locations by a day or two max. Someday I'll run into you and say hi! This camera is the first generation that's really peaked my interest. The previous generation needed good light to look right, and the focus hunting was bad. This one looks quite amazing, and the wireless mic setup is money.

This looks good. When you said 1 inch sensor, I was like it’ll look great shooting low light as Sony has that rx100 since god knows when with a 1 inch sensor. The low light footage looks immense. I might get one

The clip on system for the extended grip and battery looks very much like the magnetic mounting sytem on the Action2/3/4. If it matches, it could open a variery of mounting options.

I had Osmo 1 and 2 but with the Osmo Pocket 6 paired with my iPhone and it does all I'll ever need.
Yesss the pocket 3 this might just be the perfect point and shoot camera to date . Pricing is steep but still comparing to a one inch cameras out there it still beats plus stabilization and wireless mic. pretty good deal
it can handle two mics?! so then dji would/should sell a separate mic for an add on

i like the mavic 3 main camera so much that i often think, if dji would make a avata xl with the mavic calssic camera on it and the wideangle adapter it would be a massive game changer

The jello effect when camera was shaing was kinda horrible, but that 1 inch sensor got some nice shooting quality !
and the auto vlog mode as well as vertical mode is seem super easy to use.
