Was surprised to see my own model on a youtube thumbnail out of nowhere. A certain train movie from 2004 certainly wasnt the inspiration for that model 😉 Its just as easy to motorize as the emerald night was by just replacing the firebox with an L motor, and a battery box in the tender so you'll be able to drive it around with ease if you chose to do so.
Pretty amazing to see, hey? Do you have an Instagram account or something? Thank you so much for pointing out the issue with the doors on my carriage. It's a choice between working doors and a bit less interior space & detail, or permanently closed doors and more detail. I think working doors is cooler though.
I feel like the official lego company has been sleeping all these decades. they could make such a big difference by introducing just a few more parts like different sized wheels and shapes to make this more inviting for passionate railroad builders. -that alone would have made a world of difference. they make so many other multi-million dollar franchise pieces galore and all I hear is that lego isn't interested in filling the market niche of railways.the Burkshire model in this video looks good. but the other stuff is kinda hit/miss for me. I see so many fantastic custom built models that all look much better than anything the official company unveils! look at the Hogwarts express just as an example. they now have 4 flipping versions and they are all terrible! I don't feel like the designers are really into trains at all. much less steam trains!

I agree with you
Isn’t model railroading the most popular model based hobby globally?
Hello LEGO?
Larger driving wheels is pretty much a must have... that and larger radius curves.
That old west set is NUTS. Lego needs to hire that designer.
i still want to see lego subway cars.
ok all these trains are absolutely amazing
but @2:46 Nothing beats Emerald Night
honest opinion: you can make the Polar Express with the Pere Marquette 2207 and Hogwarts Express (2018) express coach instructions.
LEGO has released some fantastic new curved elements recently, used to perfection on that beautiful Clover Express black and green loco.
Thank you for showing Stephenson's Rocket 1829!
Happy voting everyone!

I love your videos 🎉
Lego is never going to listen, they care about money and not what us lego fans want
Well, what you want is to pay them money for certain things, so actually, if they cared about money, they'd listen.
@@mattevans4377 have you not seen the prices for some newer sets??
well, results are out, somehow not a single train made it through
What if a kid builds an adult Lego set correctly?
Lego dont want to deliever what the customer want.
