    I’ll say this, I haven’t nailed the snook fishing yet but your advices on redfish lures and baits have done magic for me.
    Now I’m looking to use your knowledge and experience on summer snook.
    Thank you pumping a ton of content out. You’ve made me a better angler sir.

    Inshore, daytime, year 'round, hands down my go to lure is a white bucktail jig. The weight depends on the current but it works from seawall, beach or boat. Catches almost every other fish as well.
    Just a plain white bucktail jig with a red eye specifically. Nothing fancy. Ive tried them all the Strike King seems to work best.
    On the beach, cast parallel to the beach and grass line.

      Have you any photos of the bucktail jig you prefer?
      And examples of line and leader and weight for water depth to get me started?

    • @notsure7874
      @notsure7874 6 месяцев назад

      @@davidraguse2106 A good starting point is a Spro 1/2 oz tied to a couple feet of 20lb leader. You can tip it with a 3" paddle tail, or a grub or something too.

    I've seen both needlefish and ballyhoo get hammered by snook under lights at night. A lure that mimics them should be awesome.

    I love your content. Thank you for all your hard work and wisdom!
    I find it funny that you have to tell people that you're not saying these are the only brands that work and they can cross reference the specs/info to any other brand of their choosing. You would think that was obvious 💩
    I'd also think it's an honor to be chosen by these tried and true companies to represent their product. Keep doing your thing C.A.! 🎣

    Solid lineup. Do you still prefer the pearl blue glimmer 5” diezelz in low light/night situations or something else? Also, if I’m throwing a herculez around bridges/fender day or night what colors do you prefer? Thanks!

    Big girl snook will definitely eat those slim swimz!! I encountered some snook that wouldn’t eat a slim swim on jig head..so I tried a naked hook and it got tore up off the docks under the lights.

    Did Z man stop producing the Grass Kicker? Can’t find them anywhere, online or retail. If so what is the difference between the diezel and the kicker? Thx

    You say you can extrapolate things to other brands, and mostly thats true, but - aside from some issues I have with Z-Man, you cannot make regular soft plastics float and jiggle like a Z-Man.
    You CAN go the other way though. It's hard to rig Z-Man plastics, but there are tricks. I get them on twistlock hooks just fine. Not as easy as other brands, but it works. Try getting a regular plastic on a chinlock and you're as likely to tear the bait as to get it on there.
