    Summer time storms get the fish fired up just before and after that system pushes thru. Great selection of baits too. Awesome tips capt CA!!

    Man, I’ve been using the jerkshads the last few days, with a quicker twitching retrieve and the reds have been loving it. Paddle tails use to be my confidence bait. For whatever reasons plugs and jerkshads have been hammering them. I guess there is nothing wrong with having confidence with a few different lures.

    Awesome channel brother!!! Thanks for all the amazing info!!! Just getting into gulf fishing. Unfortunately only have a kayak for now. Yankee town and Ozello are my closest spots I believe to get me to the fish. Have been a bass fisherman my whole life. Reds and trout have me itching to get back to the salt! Any advice for a Kayak fisherman? Keep up the great work!!!!

      Chaz and Ozello are amazing kayak zones especially in the fall and winter… I’ll have another vid out for that season by October

    I'm wondering what is the size of hooks that you are using to change out the MirrOlure top water plugs and the 27 MR MirrOdine?

    Let me ask you this captain. Do you feel as if the pro cure gives you a bit longer of a window to set the hook? I agree that the scent may not be as effective as it is in the slower months but especially when flounder fishing I definitely feel like they don't spit it out as fast.

    • @flatsclasscharters
      @flatsclasscharters 2 года назад

      Flounder is a special case because they depend on prey coming to them with current but overall I love Pro Cure addition from October to April

      here's the thing about scent. it may not attract fish, but it will mask most undesirable scents that may be on your lure. sunscreen and bug spray are 100% fish deterrents. (according to rapala and their fish studies) also not fish didn't care at all about gasoline or oil on a lure.

      @@fishonkayakadventure must be a member of salt strong as well. It definitely gives me more confidence when throwing artificial

    Please include in your saltwater fishing videos the proper way of handling the fish you catch. Sticking fingers up into the gills of fish is damaging to them and can lessen their chance of survival. Using a net allows easy removal of hooks and more carefully returning the fish in a way that helps their survival. Thanks.
