How come this legendary fisherman doesn’t have more the 50k subscribers is a head scratcher. I would get up early on the weekends and watch CA and Jose just have a blast teaching and fishing all over! I learned so much from those guys, and still learning from CA, Jose, god rest his soul, thinking of you brother often. Come on people, Flats Class TV is an American icon and his ability to read fishing waters is magical. There are guys on RUclips with 10 times the subscribers that I wouldn’t take their weather report let alone any fishing advice from, but I would love to pit them up against CA in a tough fishing challenge..I promise he would be the last man standing, and posing with all the fish!!!

He's doing the right things. He will get there. Say 50k before the year is up. One collab with DMFD or Blue Gabe or KWW and it will open up the flood gates.

I personally used st croix avids and legend xtremes for years. Never had issues with my xtremes. But my avids on the other hand were a nightmare. Went through 5 in a year. St Croix customer service was very rough to deal with. Warranty is also a hassle. Takes 2 to 4 weeks for them just to get back to you regarding any warranty issues , then another 1 to 2 months to get a replacement rod.
( Plus their high replacement fees )
Figure let you guys know what you're getting into with them.
Been bouncing around other rod manufacturers the last 10 years been using one since 2017 and find them to be damn good.

But trying to compare a $100 reel of the daiwa bg to a $200 Shimano Stradic is kinda hilarious.
The 2 reels are so far apart not even a close. It's like comparing apples to oranges.
Also not everyone that " sales " Shimano is sponsored by Shimano. That's like saying everyone that sales daiwa is sponsored by daiwa or everyone that sales Penn is sponsored by Penn.
That being said you clearly don't watch Flats Class / C.A. much because you would know he has and always will mention he's sponsored by Shimano.
At the end of the day fishing is all about personal preference. If something works for YOU that's all that matters. You love daiwa and I absolutely hate daiwa.
