Just had my first Grandson!!He already has his lifetime fishing and hunting license bought for him of course. I cannot wait to be able to pass on all the great information and knowledge from professionals like yourself to him while enjoying so many years of fishing to come. Thanks again for that and consider yourself part of the family now as much as we watch you.
Been following your channel for some time now ..really enjoying it ! You are a true professional! You take the time to explain in detail your fishing process - reasoning and procedures ! Excellent information coming from a real professional!!
Gotta tell you CA I watch your videos a lot and don’t realize how much I can adapt what I’m doing to the situation & really picking up on some stuff that you’re saying and it’s working. I wish that I could fish more bodies of water because it’s interesting how it’s important to be able to keep changing up stuff depending on so much stuff. Current tide when temperature color keeps this old boys mind working God bless happy holidays.
I just have a more diminished role with Shimano (reels only) and Fitzgerald Rods do make the actions designed specifically for working artificial lures which is a better fit for Flats Class
running your leader knot through your top eye on your rods is a great way to destroy that rod tip guide. 20" leader is sufficient for just about any scenario. topwater I run a much shorter and stiffer leader.
Been having great luck on the incoming afternoon tide around Fort Island lately. Cold today, for me anyway, may swing by Sodium and pick up some new toys tomorrow on my way out. That stacked wood around us, any idea if we can just pick some up?
I'd love to get out and catch some fish, especially a redfish for dinner. But it's miserable on the Chesapeake Bay today and lately in general. My FL man blood can't take 45 with wind and today we had ice. It makes me miss FL. I could be slaying snook in the canals at night like I used to around Siesta Key. But a couple things have to change before I go back there to live again. Up here the challenge is finding fish without a boat. It's too cold for kayaking and they're not around the spots I know of that I can get to. But I appreciate the lesson on lures.
CA I watch most of your content and you promote buzbe all the time, the problem is that they don’t respond when customers have a problem, you show their products in lots of your videos so I bought 4 boxes to start redoing my tackle storage system but the boxes were too big for my Plano case so I returned them to buzbe with a tracking number that showed they received them over 3 weeks ago and I have also sent several emails to buzbe with no response. I followed their return policy to the tee. Not sure you know how they are treating people after the sale but I thought you should know. These boxes are pretty expensive so you would think that they would want to at least make an effort to contact their customers about any issues.
Always cool to hear you say “apply this information to what brands people use”. Most guides/pros will never do that🙌🏽🙌🏽
I throw the Catch 2000 and the Jr. year round. Its my main go to hardbait especially in the spring.
Thanks C.A.!

That's a great idea for a gift!
Merry Xmas ⛄🎁❤thanks for class
I just got my FL saltwater license yesterday as a new resident! Thanks again Captain C.A.! You rock!
He's definitely a great teacher, especially if you're new to the saltwater.
My friend who taught you how to fish CA
Of Pops had a little to do with it and a lot of friends along the way… by the way I still learn something here and there to this day!

Great video!
Hey cap, can you do a video on fishing these negative low tides that we are getting now. I’m sure that would help a lot of us. Tight lines cap
I’m gonna need to book a trip for trout in Jacksonville with you if you can get Eddie on the boat for some extra cheese
Cpt. CA, please check out the Slick lure from Pure Flats. It’s a PB devil without the hardware so you choose what hook to rig it with.
Apppreciate the heads up
Can confirm the slick is amazing.
What happened with shimano? No more sponsorship with them? Dammmmm will look into Fitzgerald

What about the Fatboy or softdine I love your videos like this
You’re going to start seeing those baits pop into my top 5 over the next two months
Hello brother, haven’t met you yet. Should I spend any time fishing passes or whatever, that don’t have grass for Redfish?
Absolutely reds are located in passes and/or grass flats just depends on their food source

I’ve seen folks picking it up 👍🏼
On that catch 2000 how do you work it
Two soft flicks and a stall then reel slack and repeat
