Man, it's like you know me. I was literally the knucklehead you're talking about this morning. 7:30 AM, fishing a flat on an incoming tide in cold water on a 40 degree day, throwing lure too fast that we're probably too big. I didn't get a single bite and I tried all of my usual spots. I guess it's time to get out of my comfort zone and start outsmarting some fish. 😂 thanks CA
I went to Publix a few months ago and bought a cheap thermometer 16:36. Since I'm fishing out of a kayak and my temp gauge on my Garmin watch broke, along with not having any electronics, I needed something to get a "general" temp reading. It's a little archaic but it does the job.
Wonder if/when BUZBE will restock their quikcubes. I have an old corroded quantum backpack that I’m looking to replace with the buzbe system but I need those cubes before I pull the trigger
I want to check out some of these places you’ll been fishing? They look for bait to ambush in the current when it changes and starts running pretty fast ✌️❤️😊
Hey Captain CA I got a off-topic question I consider you a very smart man and upmost respect for your angling skills. How do I make money fishing doing what I love and now back to how to catch a big snuck in the cold✌️❤️😂
Captain C.A. I have been using Z-man products for about a year now with good success. My issue is that I have limited use of one of my hands and I find it difficult to rig Z-Man plastics. I don't have this issue with other plastics such as DOA and Slayer. Any suggestions? My problem is holding on to the plastic while inserting the jig heads. I primarily use Mission Fishing jig heads.
Truth, I hammered trout, reds and a bonus black drum today as water warmed and filled one of my go to spots. I'm just around the bend from your location. Spot on advice.

Same. Gonna gives the holes in Homosassa a shot in the am
Captain great info. 👍🎣👍
The "primitive" drawing works for me! No shame in Capt. C.A.'s artistic side!
Thanks Tim
Great tips! Thank you sir! 👊👍👍
Fantastic information and well presented in a very understanding way as always. I am going to go try to put it to use!
Powerful stuff

What is the biggest snook you’ve landed?
Why do they say bigger baits in the winter
