    I am a proud citizen of Trinidad & Tobago one of the wiser choices for a vacation. The country is very beautiful indeed and hope our citizens keep it that way

    Sorry, I ate or drank something bad on Thursday and I spent most of Friday and Saturday in my hotel. Tomorrow I am going to Barranquilla. Friday I will go to Santa Marta. I just counted the countries I have been to, and I am up to 74 now.

    Nice video, I don't see a a lot of people out, is there an area or downtown where a lot of young crowd hang out like in Medellin?

    So Richard I have to ask, do you live in Colombia? And how's your Spanish coming along?

    • @RichardsWorld
      @RichardsWorld  7 лет назад

      I don't speak much Spanish. I only learn a few new words a day. I can understand OK, but my pronunciation is lousy. I have to think about how to pronounce something carefully than say the word. But I don't usually do that.

    Why would you not wear shorts in Medellin?
    Also a buddy of mine said Laureles is a cute old barrio but bare with services and rather pricey. Could you comment on that please? I was looking for office workers eateries and lavanderias. In Ecuador you can eat at such places for 3 to 5 dollars.

      In some places around the world wearing shorts is not common. But it seems to be growing. On the weekends you might see people wearing nice shorts and shirts in Medellin. When you watch my or other people videos in Medellin, look at how many people wear shorts. I think maybe the people in Medellin are also more concerned with their looks and image, so that might have something to do with it. I have a few videos of Laurels. I think they have everything there needed for just about everything. I can't think of anything that Laureles is lacking. The expensive area in Medellin is El Poblado. I rented AIRBNB places in Laureles for half the prices in El Poblado. But, I still like El Poblado better.

      Are you looking to open a business somewhere?

    • @miklerosswell3885
      @miklerosswell3885 7 лет назад

      Nope rather for non gringo barrios. Those tend to prove more expensive. A buddy of mine suggested Sabaneta as a modern one with everything I may need.
      My personal preference is the outskirts like Santa Elena due to the 10 C cooler climate.

      I just went to Sabaneta yesterday and took some video. That video should be up tomorrow. Sabaneta is a nice area for sure. The people seemed friendlier there. A couple people also told me Sabaneta is a better area.

      Will be waiting for it to come up. Liked your vids on Envigado. The barrio looks way more developed and safe the the other outskirts you filmed.
