That is the very truck I got as a child. I was born in 1963. I got the truck brand new. Unfortunately it just did Not stay in store bought new condition. I still have it but without the dump bed since in the 1970's.
Iil have same truck in yellow in good condition and a pickup From.60s ill have old toys from Was kid some didn't Survive still have old toys are the best in tin or metal ps nice ford pickup you have
Nothing compares to the feel and design of these old toys from yesteryear. We also are glad to hear that you like the Nixshop Work Truck, which is our 1968 Ford F250.
We typically find replacement windshields on eBay. The only difficult part is making sure that you purchase the correct windshield for your model year. Not all the windshields are interchangeable.
What about taking a white rubber center and make a mold to make black matte and replace the white wall to black or mask the letters off paint the disc bbq and make the semi having letter tires i working on it looking for that plate where the hitch was
Some unique features that distinguished this 1964 model from any other year/model was the Blackwall wheels, as well as the design of the Dump Bed. As for the hitch on the back, we do not want to cover it because there are several accessories that can be attached to it! These accessories may even be making an appearance in some upcoming videos... We wanted bring this rare and unique toy back to its original and former glory!
@@Nixshop I was thinking of a restore of a custom using different parts of damage frame with no hitch Can with custom battery light I was thinking A 4 wheel duelly with a flat bed wood slats sides and a wrecker boom 🤔 that one mudflaps running boards maybe from a damage firetruck maybe a cement mixer ???
Our hubcaps were so brittle, due to the rust, that they bent and cracked as we pulled them off. We decided it was best to purchase original reproductions on eBay. The design of the hubcap is based on the 1964 model year, as later years did not come with a hubcap with as much detail.
Awesome job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks!!

Thanks, we though it was a “bright” idea! 😄
I also restore old metal toys, mostly Tonka and Nylint. Excellent restoration!
Thanks! It’s a great hobby, and we love to pass on our knowledge to others who may be interested.

How would you replace a missing windshield?

Ever think of usung truck rubber tube and put a chrome rod and put on mudflaps on
We opted to go for a original factory style restoration, with the addition of our custom lights!
I would have my old truck original color, except have a decal of Iowa Department Of Highway Maintenance
That's awesome! Thanks for stopping by.
Also what about the badly rusty hubcaps painted and looked like just lug wheels

@@Nixshop I meant try some severy pitted spray with build up primer then scent the lug nuts
