very clean running for a 450 mx bike, looks like they nailed the mapping on that bike!! no flame outs or stalls in the tight trails ! Can't wait to ride one!
I would imagine the 25 CRF450RX has more offroad focused (smoother?) engine mapping. I was quite surprised just how well this CRF450R engine runs from low to high RPM and the fluidity of the power and throttle hand to rear wheel connectivity is very good.
@@mxengineer1 .....no i was just thinking how i like suzuki RMZ's but your bike here may top that.....xr200 is all i have now and at my age that is just fine
@mxengineer1 Can't wait for the comparo. I'd be interested to know how they compare for flame out resistance. Thinking maybe you are a bit of a master with the clutch 😀
@@Superdisco199 I am no master with the clutch - however the latest CRF450R engine runs very smooth - excellent stock EFI mapping - and runs surprisingly well at low RPM's.
Its not even in the same league as the Yamaha’s, there mapping app is the best in the business, ktm is up there, at least Kawasaki is giving it a try, Honda are still living in the dark ages having to hook a laptop and battery to it, yes it’s a good bike but they really need to catch up with the competition
Yes Honda started mapping with the 2005 Montesa 4RT 4-stroke trials bike! Hopefully Honda will offer an app soon. For now the engine runs so clean with (3) unique and different feeling maps along with (3) levels of traction control to dial back each map if needed.

Honda 80's CR vibe is cool!👍
Any overheating issues riding trails?
No but these are easy trails
nice......i like Suzuki's but Honda is up there too
You have a Suzuki now...I can't remember!

@@mxengineer1 - I’m not sure you’re an engineer.. I’m going to have to see your Stamp Sir. Ha

The app doesn't interest me in the slightest and I'm sure I'm not alone. Riding washing maintenance repeat. Who beeds more distractions.
