- Transitioning to a new airplane can be exciting but, it also requires some work on your part. You will need to cope with different handling characteristics, avionics, V speeds and equipment. This doesn't need to be daunting. A few flights with a qualified instructor will get you up to speed in no time.

You’re a great resource for DA40 pilots out there. Especially pilots who are new to the airframe.
Trained in a 172 and soon after receiving PPL, transitioned to the Diamond this past year. Took me about 8 hours to get the hang of it. Hated it at first but now it’s my favorite. Question mark flow check is key!
Keep up the good work.
Once you get over the DA40 learning curve, it's tough to go back to any other plane. Glad I could help.
Your vids are amazing….just actually doing my PPL on a DA40 NG here in Germany!
Thanks for watching! Good luck on your training. Stick with it because the reward is worth the effort.
Have been to Lake Norman so many times….Stayed at „The Point“ all the time (Keel Ct.)😊…such a nice place….cant wait to fly there as well!
Took off from JQF? I just took my first DA40 flight 2 weeks ago from there
I am based at JQF. What did you think of the DA40?
@@diamondstarpilot it was my first full glass experience and now I never want to touch a 6 pack again.
My only gripe is I wish there was more shoulder room. At times it feels like I'm sitting on my instructors lap and I'm 5'9 🤣
