  • Just a fun day getting the Husqvarna YTH 24K48 Tractor ready for another season at St. Bernard Acres. Changed the oil, oil filter, fuel filter and air filter. I had already changed the the blades on it. Now to wash it, and clean all the dirt off of it, and Gail is happy!

You got the job done, and that's the main thing. Mission complete, good job.

You didn’t show us that you put in new oil. I bet you knew people would think you forgot!!

Good job. This video is exactly like ALL the project I do. I am always yelling "what are the odds!" It never goes as planned. I just changed the oil on both of my generators. Oil always ends up on the ground and the frame. Gail had us laughing " That's a mans thing" to maintain the mower.

Before I change my oil the next time on my Husqvarna mower I'm getting a short piece of pipe with a cap made up and do away with the stock oil drain. It will be much easier.

I've got the YTA24V48 Husqvarna mower & changing the oil filter & oil was frustrating for me also. The drain valve work's easily once you unscrew and remove the entire unit😡 The biggest complaint I have is the seat😡 It constantly drift's forward😡 I'm also concerned about the longevity of the forward foot control as it frequently feels like it's binding up on something. For the amount of money I spent on my mower I should feel like this 😀😀😀

Realistic video of how your maintenance will go. Lol. Good mower though.

Yes ! I have this exact same model and I always encounter many little problems and hindrances when attempting simple repairs. Add in the heat, humidity and mosquitoes and it’s a perfect afternoon.

How much does a fuel filter hose cost?

Oops forgot, they actually have a large proprietary socket to remove the oil filter but I found it satisfying to stab it with a screw-driver😀

How on earth did Wheeling allow a mobile home (neighbors) in the city? I never have seen such a thing?!

I hate to be a keyboard warrior, but as often as my best laid plans go sideways on me, I'm not sure I'd air 15 minutes of blunders for people to think this is how things get done. My guy is using a take out dish for an oil catch and a cardboard funnel?!?! Come on now; that's just sloppy and lazy. This is how not to change your oil folks.

+freyguyproductions Agreed, but sometimes it's fun to watch idiots at work.
