I didn’t see anyone comment on your oil pouring technique. So I thought I would comment. When you pour from a quart oil container you want to pour from the side that the spout is farthest from. It will keep it from bubbling like it did to you. Just a tip from my Dad. Otherwise loved the video it will help with my own oil change.
I would like to see all the maintenance like air a spark plugs I just bought one and I love the mower and I would love to learn to take good care of it
My Z254F has the same oil drain method EXCEPT the plug is a pull out plug and not a screw. I spent hours trying to get this plug out. Very bad design. Still love my mower.
Apparently you neglected one of the most important parts of an oil change, the draining of the old oil. I mention this because I don't know where the drain plug is on my RZ5424. Number two. My seat is old and is getting brittle and I am concerned that it will crack. Do you have a suggestion? Thanks for a very good video. Richard
Do you not buy into the theory that motor oil formulated for air cooled engines (kohler, B&S) work any better for the L&G application, or am I being sold a bill of goods?

Really enjoyed the video. Very helpful.
Even when you don’t have the right socket, it shows things can easily go wrong and can be worked around.
FYI, the drain tube is from the factory
Thanks for this awesome video! I’m going to start changing my own oil and filter from now on! You made everything so clear! Thanks again!👍
Harbor Freight sells a cheap adjustable plier for any filter. Glad I wasn't needing a rebuild!
Thank you for the video! Much appreciated.
