she´ll get four....there is at least an honary oscar for her lifetime achievement waiting. but even in this case she won´t have four acadamy awards in the category "best actress". there is no one who can give miss hepburn a run for her money :o) personally i don´t care about awards, prices, honours and rewards it´s simply great that we had and still are having such great artists such as katharine hepburn, meryl streep and many more....don´t compare but enjoy them and their performances ;o)
Meryl made a lot of sacrifices though for her kids. There were a lot of great roles she passed up as they didn't work with her kids. So you never know if she passed one that could have been worthy. So at least she gave a damn about her kids.
They reporter probably knows that Katharine Hepburn did not like MS and I think MS is aware of that. Well at least, Bette Davis liked her. But, I am a big fan of both Meryl and Katharine.
Meryl doesn't even use the internet she will never see your comment? So what does you comment accomplish? She worked hard for the third one? She didn't get to study for it as much as she wanted but that was because her husband had surgery. She basically looked herself in a room for couple of months and studied Margaret Thatcher..... and became her how did she not deserve it?
