Oh yeah, part 2 is required for this humble viewer haha I appreciate the breakdown yall do with the numbers you're working with. Hope it pans out. Remember, don't discount those other knives, you might find a diamond in the "rust"
Love to see you expanding into unknown territory pushes me to explore new stuff. I really appreciate the content. Keep up the hard work and great content bud
Part 2 is a must! Always enjoy your buys and selling strategies, but I really enjoy showing the profit margins, etc. during the video. Overall fantastic information and content. Keep up the great work!
Would love to see a part 2! Or if anything, depending on how many videos you all have planned for this channel, a weekly update at the end of each video. Whatever works better for you all. Love the content guys. Yall are killing it!
I really enjoy when you guys take chances and go into different markets. I really feel that you guys trying new markets such as antiques or clothing would be pretty entertaining to watch
google lens might help with unboxed. I just did screenshot of case knives and pulled up wr case candy striped clear corelon trapper for $65 its like red, gold and white striped.
Yes please with a part 2. Garage sale season is around the corner for northern Minnesota and I need all the knowledge I can get to kill it this season. Been maintaining daily eBay listings with 2 massive boxes of 45 Rpm records which were just given to me........Nice!
I recently started collecting pocket knives (video games are too competitive these days), you have a hell of a collection there to sell. You will do fine and make a lot of your money back plus some.
I would enjoy a part 2. I picked up 150 knives for $20 this summer. Kept 10 of the best ones for gifts and put the rest in one auction that went for $175. I was happy with buying my education on that one
Great video.! Please keep this going. I would love to see what everything looks like when you get to your B/E point. You could show us what you have left and if you think the time/money invested will have been worth it.
Do not list the knife at 7:42 on ebay. Its an automatic which will get the listing pulled. Id be interested in it depending on the price as my main thing is automatics. In general I see a few nice knives that are outside of your standard brands. For example the folding machete in the box of fixed blades around the 8:11 mark (not something I collect but they are worth a decent amount).
I really like this style of video. I think it would be cool to go through a box and just document looking them up. Yes you may not know about other brands but here is your chance to learn for a very low price for the amount of knowledge you will get. The other option would be to reach out to Knife RUclipsrs and see if they can help you/buy lots.
Here is how I do lots like this. I pick a bottom number (probably with knives since they are easy to store/ship it would be around $15 for me). Then I list everything over that. (of course, trying to get the best up in the first few days) Then I would sell out the rest in bulk lots of around 25 items each. You can run auctions if it is a hot category and you want to move it fast or do BIN for slower categories or if you need to maximize profits. I'm currently working on a similar lot but it is all early 80s computer/technology books including a ton of Heathkits.
@@catrpcrew so I’m thinking about joining the discord but also am debating getting worthpoint. To bad the discord doesn’t have a shared worthpoint login
We love watching your success stories but seeing you guys possibly make a mistake and work through it and learn is something we can all learn from. Please do some more videos on this knife buy!
Camillus knife are also very good sellers, most of the ones you don’t think are moneyare gonna be the most expensive, sollengen German blades are the best you can get
You could get a booth/table at a gun show, and move those. The down side is you would be adding more downtime and fees (cost of the table per day) to your investment price. On the plus side, you would give out a lot of your business cards
If you still have them research those bigger rusted knives in the box like the one you called a pirate knife. Those could be very old like WW1 or WW2 trench knives or bayonets. And I noticed a couple old buck knives in there In leather sheaths
This was awesome guys! I definitely would like to see more updates on this deal! Btw I've sold some knives before not for a lot of money $20-$50. And one for over $100, the thing was tiny and had rust etc, cleaned off enough to see the logo and it sold to a collector. I think you guys should give listing the ones with rust up regardless just make sure to note in the description and title and she'll be right. Collectors who take this niche seriously will buy them to clean up if possible or to simply add to their collection. I wonder if the niche has gotten smaller over the past 20 years hence why the drop on prices over time.
I have an idea. For the harder to sell small knives could you sell them with a small cheap sharpening stone and an altoid size tin and call them EDC starter kits
Love the videos! My name is also Chase lol I inherited a ton of knives from my dad and have a pretty good knowledge of these. Case are definitely valuable. An easy way to check if they are good is look at where they are made on the blade. If it’s not U.S.A., Germany they are not worth much especially ones from China
There is some good money in those case knives and some other good brands are camillius, imperial, colonial, kabar, old timer, boker, Queen, pal, Remington and lots of others are good brands and will sell in good condition
As a long time knife enthusiast I can tell you this much, its an old mans collection and there may be some old rare collectable type things there that could draw decent money but About 80% of all the loose knives that I saw floating in the usps boxes are going to be very low value stuff you will have a hard time moving, many wont go on ebay at all, best bet is a flea market booth at $5 to $10 a piece just to get rid of them. The old man knife market is still going strong with people looking for old 80s Case knives. Winchester is pretty worthless unless its significantly vintage. That being said my hobby is modern knives so to me I dont see much here that interests me but Somebody will. Cool episode.
Do you guys have any issues with that floor scale you showed in this vid ? I own that one as well and sometimes I get charged by the postal office because the weight is “inaccurate” and I end up paying more. Just wanted to ask.
Some of my best profits reselling has been from bladed weapons. Including a case v42 stilleto, a Russian spetnaz survival machete, and a Steyr Aug bayonet. Bayonets and knives, especially military, always bring good money. The v42 stilleto is super super rare
Would love a part 2, watch out with "paratrooper" and any assisted open knives, eBay doesn't let you sell those since they are illegal in so many states, only locking blades and slip joints, Hi from Idaho!
These videos are great. Enjoying watching the grind! I'm only a reseller to fund my collecting, but I do the same thing. Sell the high dollar, quick moving items first to get back my initial investment. I think you guys will do fine making profit on this one, but you won't want to do it again as it's way too many items to sell through.
Yeah. I guess if it ends up being 10 grand in profit… I’d do it again, but if it ends up being a couple grand or less in profit… probably not . We shall see!
Oh yeah, part 2 is required for this humble viewer haha I appreciate the breakdown yall do with the numbers you're working with. Hope it pans out. Remember, don't discount those other knives, you might find a diamond in the "rust"
Very interesting and educational. I would watch a part 2.
This video single-handedly dragged me into the deep, curious interest of knives.
Part 2 Please! I love seeing your process and how you tackle large buys! Keep up the great work!
Definitely wanna see more on the knives. Always enjoy seeing the selling side of things.
Love to see you expanding into unknown territory pushes me to explore new stuff. I really appreciate the content. Keep up the hard work and great content bud
Part 2 is a must obviously. You guys are quickly becoming my favorite channel
Awesome. And wow thank you!!
Case is from my hometown, can’t ever go wrong buying them, huge collector following
Knives cut my finger....I love your collection
Find me sweeny Todd knife
OK I am HOOKED on your knife sales. Please keep showing. !!!!!!!!!
Part 2 is a must! Always enjoy your buys and selling strategies, but I really enjoy showing the profit margins, etc. during the video. Overall fantastic information and content. Keep up the great work!
Loved the behind the scenes. Gives some great insight, can't wait for a part 2
part 2 for sure !! Both channels are awesome guys, love what sold stuff at this channel allot!!
Very interesting behind the scenes look on the knives. I would love to see a 2nd video
I randomly came across the video and definitely became intrigued! Looking forward to the part 2 or the overall turn out. I wish you guys good luck!

Part 2 wanted please.
Love these videos
Definitely interested in seeing a part 2. And even a part 3 if needed would be perfect!

You guys seriously need to get a knife person on board with you, you could have a load of pieces that are worth way more than you could imagine.😉👍
Part 2 please, love how this is broken down. Thanks
Part 2 has to happen. We need to see how this continues to pan out for you guys.
Part 2 please! Good work guys.
Great video, part 2 would be great thanks 👍🏻👍🏻
Some of those knives are absolutely beautiful. The one you picked out for yourself in the beginning have a Native American look to it. Very cool!
I would enjoy a part 2. I picked up 150 knives for $20 this summer. Kept 10 of the best ones for gifts and put the rest in one auction that went for $175. I was happy with buying my education on that one
Ha, more like "Case" after the Right Price. Anyways, great video and I'm absolutely down for a part 2!
Great video.! Please keep this going. I would love to see what everything looks like when you get to your B/E point. You could show us what you have left and if you think the time/money invested will have been worth it.
I feel like I can speak for all of the internet when I say we definitely want to see the CATRP crew at a knife show.
Question about your shipping station. Where did you get your setup for bubblewrap and kraft paper I see in the background ???
That's a good question! Honestly we don't remember the exact one, but look up "Double Arm Wall Mount for Bubble Wrap" and you should get some results.
Part 2 please! Loving the channel
Yes definitely part 2. Bartledo
Part 2 is a must!!

Correct, there are some we will not be listing. Thanks for the heads up on those!
That is a bold move, no way I could handle all that manual listing.
Love the new channel. Definitely want to see a part 2!
Glad you're loving it, anything other than part 2 you wanna see?
Definitely want to see part 2. Didn't realize that some knives are very desirable and worth $$$$
Cutting edge stuff!!
I really like this style of video. I think it would be cool to go through a box and just document looking them up. As a knife trader I would say you did very well
Great to know! Let me know if you want to buy the rest out lol
Would love to see an update on this.

A knife show probably isn't worth your time unless you also make content. Just my 2 cents.
That’s some great information, thank you Josh
@@catrpcrew so I’m thinking about joining the discord but also am debating getting worthpoint. To bad the discord doesn’t have a shared worthpoint login
Great way to approach this lot for sure.
Part two is a necessity, I’m more into the knife sales than I expected lol
Nice haul guys. Would definitely like to see a follow up on how you make out. Whether you go the knife and gun show route etc...
1%
i know nothing about them but i liked the long black handled one at 7:49
We love watching your success stories but seeing you guys possibly make a mistake and work through it and learn is something we can all learn from. Please do some more videos on this knife buy!
Camillus knife are also very good sellers, most of the ones you don’t think are moneyare gonna be the most expensive, sollengen German blades are the best you can get
I think I seen a k-bar in the big knife box they sell well
You could get a booth/table at a gun show, and move those. The down side is you would be adding more downtime and fees (cost of the table per day) to your investment price. On the plus side, you would give out a lot of your business cards
PART 2!!!! Chase with the hands of Midas. Gotta turn that rusty steel into shiny gold.
Two videos 😎 Yes thank you
A part 2 would be awesome. I really want to see how it works out.!
I want a part 2! Need to know if ya'll break even

Love the knife updates… awesome buy 🥰
Definitely a part 2 please
I'm surprised you haven't found or sold any buck knives. Really good brand even if no box.
Do we what to see a part 2 heck yeah and a part 3 , 4, 5, 6, & 7 too!

Great to know. Thanks chase !
Would love to see a part 2. I would be hesitant to clean them as with anything collectors can be pretty particular.
I want to see how you got the knives. The whole process.
That video is in the main channel. It was in the video with a thumbnail that has a bunch of sealed Nintendo games
Def part 2 🙌🏻
re-brand incoming, chase after the right knife 😅 loving the second channel guys!

Sometimes yeah. I usually overestimate based on whatnot says. Not many issues with that strategy
my favorite is the traditional Buck 110 folding knife
and YES to part 2
I’m a knife man now. Bring on part 2
Look out for vintage Italian knives they can bring in good money! Lots of work there but good stuff!
Fixed blade knife can be way more than you think. I bought one for 10.00 at a garage sale and it sold in 2 days for 299.99
WOW! What brand?
@@catrpcrew It was a Kershaw 1032 knife.
part 2 definitely very educational…
Great video Brother's. I would take a closer look to see if You have any military knives. Thanks for sharing 😀 👍 ♥️ 🇺🇸 🇨🇦 💯

Need to take them out of the garage or they’ll rust even more, great video such a cool find!
Did you get any that CRKT brand? If so I could possibly be interested!

Good to know!
@@catrpcrew Yeah, had a vintage Vietnam Paratrooper knife listed and eBay pulled it, did a deep dive on eBay knife/weapon policy after that
Definitely into part 2
That boker and old timer looks nice
Do you still have the large swiss army knive
I'm getting one of those knives one way or another. I may have lost the live bid for the others, but one day...
Hey what is that thing that looks like a ufo toy? You open the box at 3:23 I collect old alien and robot stuff!
Our Discord actually cracked the case on what it was. Some kind of Lionel Restaurant UFO
