Let's go you are such an inspiration to me. I have been following you for a couple years now. I do struggle with motivation at times but seeing your success is amazing. Keep up the great content and great work.
I really hope you guys have someone researching those paperweights and that Weller tankard and the tin lithograph toys. You might be overlooking hundreds of dollars.
I really suggest you reach out to Jack from Locker Nuts and get some knowledge on the different high end Train's car's, engine's, scale variety etc.. You would be blown away with his $1.00 locker buys they're incredible.. You guys would benefit watching / talking and learning from his amassed collection.. You guys have some really nice and desirable valuable items.. Take care..👍💕🔥⚾🤙
It's amazing that most of the boxes are pretty good stuff in that they have value, you'd think a lot of things that didn't sell was just junk. Also, I'd probably burn the creepy stuff.
Smaller scale cars models (1:64, 1:43 etc) are more popular in Europe and with city based collectors where house space is an issue, however 1:24 and 1:18 are the main sizes collected in most of Australia and I’d assume most American regions where housing space is less of an issue, larger 1:12 and 1:8 are often only a small part of collections as statement / centrepieces :) … also the smaller 1:87 stuff is more popular with people that do train dioramas etc. that probably answers the question
Also 1:76 scale is desirable as it is compatible with OO and HO scale trains - 4mm to the Inch. Some of the early Lego model cars go for serious money for this exact reason.
I love watching you but especially skyler going through all these really old items especially the old boxed items and just chucking things into boxes cramming things in, it makes my heart warm that collectors of old items never want good condition boxes or items, the older the box the more when your looking at them you should be as heavy handed as possible and skyler keep doing as much as possible to hurt the packaging your the star employee for sure I love your useless information and jokes you provide us with each week and your total lack of knowledge or respect for anything that’s not from 2022 keep up the good work chase you have an absolute gem employee in skyler 👌🏼
I don’t understand the sarcasm in this comment. Every box that was kicked was a regular cardboard box unrelated to any product. Skylar is truly brilliant and is the best right hand man in the business. Thanks for watching, but insulting his intelligence or quality of work is not something I can let slide
When do you change from the most expensive items from a collection to listing the biggest things to make room and clear a storage shed quicker so you don’t have to pay for the extra unit?
Good question and thought! There is definitely a combination of both. Cash flow is most important to me, but space is important too. We have started to shift to listing bigger lots of items and things that have been taking up a lot of space as well. Thanks for the great question
Chase, have you thought about reaching out to an active hobby shop owner and asking him to come over to do consulting. I know you can look stuff up on Ebay but that takes time and it might be worth having someone come in that deals with trains and diecast cars for a living.
For this big of a collection, you would loose 70% of the value they might tell you what to list first, but for this big a collection even for then to come to tell you that they would probrobly charge$75.. and it’s not like he’s not going to list all of tgem

Ron is a true legend! The things he acquired (and ultimately you acquired) is amazing!
I told you Ron had an amazing amount of things in his shop. You guys are just scratching the surface!!
Very much enjoy these videos that show going through the boxes. It’s like Christmas in each one.

Pretty sure those tiny metal painted Starwars figures were from the Micro Machines series. I had the Luke pilot, as a kid.

"SkyGuy kicks another box then Chase finds barbies" LOL
Action figures didn't look like side show. Looked like Dragon Model, BBI(Blue Box), and Ultimate Soldier (heavier ones)

19:19 you need to have a contest and the loser has to shave with the 120 year old razor. That would be awesome.
Sure, I’ll watch a movie.
