Polo, I would like to see you do a small lawn or small section of a lawn organically for about a year and compare your traditional lawn treatment to your organic lawn. That would be dope.
@@PoloFieldsLawnService Yessir. But also weed care, pre-emergent, and disease care organically. I don't see too many videos on organic care so I'm curious what would be the results vs traditional lawn care route. Plus as a believer, I would like to see results doing God's way vs man made way. Bro, this past season I started in April and was really dedicated on a amazing lawn. I rented a power rake, over seeded, used simple solutions fertilizer and then some yard mastery “double dark” fertilizer and bro, by May / June my lawn was absolutely amazing…crazy good. However I did not apply any pre emergent and mistakenly tried to correct some emerging crab grass with some spectricide weed stop, and that crap ruined my lawn. 😡. So next year I’m not making that same mistake, however I need to re seed some bald spots, and plan on over seeding again but you said in a previous video that I can’t seed and apply pre-emergent so how should i approach this and when should I apply to be effective at both, and which should I apply first? I live in Michigan.
@ggray1213 1st, seed. Growing and filling in the grass is the main concern. 2nd, if you have any weeds, spot spray them. If they are over your entire lawn, spray the entire lawn, but DO NOT APPLY ANY WEED CONTROL UNTIL YOU HAVE MOWED YOUR NEW GRASS SEED AT LEAST 3 TIMES. I'm not familiar with your temperatures up there, but I would say that you can apply some seed in April. Don't worry about a pre-emergent in the spring. Just focus on growing your new grass seed.
Hey Polo, Does that seed come in 7 or 10lb bags. I have an area in my front lawn that gets relentlessly sounded by the sun inches summer. Is this seed heat and ground tolerant to a degree that it can withstand 8 hours of direct sun if given 1' to an 1'&1/2 of water per week.
@emilemosley8573 25lbs and 50 lbs bags. Yes, it can withstand direct sun but just like any other seed, if your lawn is getting beat up by the sun in the summer. If you're not giving it some water. It can slide into dormancy.
@maggarlion That's because of the tall fescue seed being lateral spread and the 3 different bluegrass varieties in the bag. That's what makes this seed so different 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
@ Tall fescue lateral. That’s interesting. Tall fescue tends to be more of a bunch type. Although I read where lateral spread varieties are been developed. Send me in this chat the link for this grass type so I have it in my notes going forward
@maggarlion There isn't a link yet to purchase this seed. You have to either stop by the store, call or email them. Here is the information: Purchases can be made in-store at Newsom seed in Maryland. Contact Allen@newsomseed.com or call 800-553-2719 for the shipping option

@@musicfame You mean use organic fertilizers all year?

@@musicfame I'll see what I can do. I have to have a small lawn to test some of those products on. If that lawn comes available, I'll give it a shot.
