They need to charge his parents
They did
Parent*
The parent got 21 months, it wasn’t for the shooting though, she lied on the application to purchase the firearm.
If the parent was White, she would have gotten 10+ years. Instead this parent gets less than 2 for illegally purchasing a firearm.
Charge parents the latest deflection from perpetrators
This is a good precedent, then we'll be able to sue judges and district attorneys for "neglecting the signs" of repeat offenders.
Lol no they won't let charges fall
And locking them up for locking up innocent people
@@kbob9625 it's absolute immunity for judges acting properly within their judicial role
yes, this way teachers and school workers are terrified of being put into prison, and so call 911 on every student at the drop of a hat.
smart.
@@nuh_uh_ur_dumb it's called qualified immunity and a judge giving a sentence you don't agree with isn't grounds to remove that protection.
My God, that boy has some SERIOUS issues.
That kid shouldn’t have been in school at all with his violent behavior
He belongs in a asylum
@CruzCruz-nw7fi She insisted that her boy be educated in a normal school and Richneck elementary admistration" despite against policy "went ahead with it!
I don't think we have really seen what he is capable of .....yet. This monster is going to get bigger in the next 15 years.
@CruzCruz-nw7fi true, but the mother raised hell and wanted her kid in a normal school
Where are his parents? They should be charged as well.
Seriously!? -- They are of a race we dont speak of OR ever hold accountable.
@@thewatchfuleye8401well clearly you're a race of "don't finish listening" because they said what happened to the parents towards the end of the video.
They were, and got 21 months.
@@Sirblissfull Actually they werent. They were sentenced to 21 months not for the shooting, but for lying on their background application for a gun.
@@thewatchfuleye8401Well, that’s not unrelated, is it? The charges for the adults are for their wrongdoing that led to the shooting, not for the shooting directly.
The gun had 7 more bullets but jammed? This could have been even worse than it already is! Make sure the parents are put under the jail!
Watch the news out of the Virginia station there is soooo much more to this story. He was at school bragging about smoking his mom's weed. I have been binging these stories for 2 days catching up on the latest. It's just mind boggling. And it could have been so much worse. Sad.
It jammed because a 6 year old can’t hold it firm enough for it to cycle the next cartridge.
The mother is serving federal time for lying on her gun application. The State only gets her after that. She has been sentenced for criminal child neglect, but the feds get first dibbs.
Having a doctorate does not mean you have common sense and know what you are doing as an administrator.
She just didn't care. I bet she does now.
@@adriennerenfro2839you are absolutely right
This is not a lack of common sense. This is due to personal unethical and immoral standards. People can have common sense and still do wrong, because they dont care, and have gotten away with it for far too long.
@Mercenary-1914 well said.this non-accountabilty has been going on too dam long!!!!!
Why is it so hard to call the parents of undisciplined children to come and pick up their child from school.
Keep them home
How does a 6 year old know how to do all of that with a gun? What kind of life did he have at home to be so full of rage? Sad situation
His parents are thugs, that's how! They are both in jail !!!!
@@George-zd6rb His white supremacist country values guns over human lives.
From what I know living in the area the boy had mental issues and is required to have a parent present with him at schools at all times because he is disturbed. Well this time they didn’t show up to class but somehow the school allowed him to stay without a parent and he ended up shooting the teacher.
Black people
@@bethanywashington1243 where do you live in Denbigh,mid-town ,Southside, Hilton?
if she really did nothing in response to those three warnings and requests to search the kid before it happened that same day...yeah, that's some gross negligence or deliberate indifference.
I wonder if the child is related to the assistance principal somehow? Because to ignore 3 serious warnings tells me she’s either grossly incompetent or is related to the kid and doesn’t want him to be in trouble.
And then she locked herself in her office when she heard there'd been a shooting, leaving a young student and the grandmother of another student in the outer office alone. She didnt even open her door when the wounded teacher ran into the office and collapsed unconscious - the grandmother tried to help the teacher while the other child hid in the corner crying hysterically
Noted “INDIFFERENCE” by the PRINCIPAL??? Are you F-ing kidding me??? There’s a mayor in Illinois that I’d like you to meet.
As a Mom of a 5-year-old it just mind boggles me that a 6-year-old wanted to kill somebody&actually played it out... Just so sad and scary
The semi-auto jammed. If not for the malfunction the teacher would have been killed.
And when the kid was restrained, he told officials “I shot that b**** dead”. Where did that kid learn that type of language? Hmmmm
His parents should be charged as well. He got that sick, horrible behavior from somewhere!
Lol parentS? Its parent.
Imagine such little children taking the responsibility and risk of telling teachers about the danger and the assistant principal just ignoring it.
That child’s parents need to be charged.
Did the Columbine shooters or any or the others get charged until Ethan Crumbley? And they actually mass killed people.
These kids are so much different than us. Damn, in first grade I was reading comic books and was rushing home to watch Speed Racer, Marine Boy and Ultra Man.
Who is this violent in first grade...or even thinks about shooting their teacher???
All we wanted was recess and pizza for lunch.
and Kimba the White Lion 😊
And knows how to use a gun like that at six years old!?
When I came to this country several decades ago, the kids were stomping out teachers and principals. Parents would come to the office looking to fight teachers and principals for suspending their child or sending the child to the principal’s office. This country has been messed up for a long time. Blue states especially.
I was going home to watch DBZ
@@Vicki_Vicki_Vicki90I’m grown and still don’t know lol
What kind of administrator are you when you don't take seriously what your teachers say? Apparently a terrible one! Whoever the parent or guardian of this 6 year child, need to be charged too!
Unfortunately, teachers all over the country are saying it is very common to get Zero support from Administrators, even after actual violence, nor threats of violence.
His mother was charged
How does a 1st grader do a school shooting!? That would probably be 6 or 7 years old. That is such a young age to get charged with anything. Plus cops wouldn't be able to charge him at that age. And they wouldn't know anything about jail or prison. It would definitely be the parents fault because they would be the ones who had the weapon.
Grandma always said" Don't be the last one holding a secret. "
Your grandma was a fool
The “mom” is doing 4 yrs.
So should this woman.
She should’ve called 911 instantly. Ridiculous!
This seems like one of those scary movies
When this reverberated in the hallowed halls of this school system,,,they got the notion that the wounded teacher's civil suit is now scarier...
He is a living " Chucky"

Hank Hill: that boy ain't right... 😐
this is wild the mom is already in prison they better have this energy in all cases related tothis one
Different case
This little kid was totally out of control and violent many times. The school neglected to act many times.
@@user-vx7vi3vq1c The kid should have been in a TOTALLY different educational enviroment. The school knew he had an IEP and they knew he had an explosive personality. To place him in a regular classroom, was a miscarriage of education. That is first. For the assistant to ignore the warnings, is inexcusable. Where was the principal? Were they informed also? If so, they are equally responsible for this.
PARENTS MUST BE RESPONSIBLE LAW!
BOTTOM LINE!
It seems like actions were taken, the boys backpack was searched, and his parents were called to pick him up. In hindsight, the principal could have continued to escalate the searches until they found something, but I don't think that's the standard.
Yet for the Uvalde tragedy nothing similar happened?
B!txh what?
These parents.....Do I even have to say it???
2024 they can't blame the guns so they start blaming people now 😅😅
Earth is such a ghetto place
So sad, but so true.
The omnipresence of gangster culture goes wherever the gangstas go. This is just the chapter about that culture moving to the suburbs to lower the standards there as they do everywhere else they go, be it South Philly or Beverly Hills.
Oh please, dont be naive. This is the predominant culture of your people.
@@donetoldyaso.99it's actually the predominant culture of your people- read some history
This is a school institutional problem. Policies need to be put in place. I do not agree with this AT ALL...THIS IS JUST WRONG.
If they can jail Ethan Crumley's parents, they should make it a legal precedent to charge the parent(s) for the felony crime of their "teen".
Most teachers have been ignored like this by their bosses. They just don't usually make the evening news.
Where are the little boy's caregivers in all of this ? How does a 6 year old child gain access to a firearm? I am 72 years old, have guns in my home, but none of my grandkids know where they are. The adults need to be held responsible and the child needs therapy. If he has that much anger there are other things going on in this child's life.
It was obviously the mom's fault and she has been charged. She received 21 months in prison. It should have been longer, IMO.
The boys mother was charged...as far as how the boy got the gun they found that mom would just leave the loaded gun on her dresser ...fast forward 1 morning son grabs gun off dresser & the rest is history
might wanna make sure those guns are LOCKED UP , not just hidden
@misterpsych3804 I keep them in a lock box and only myself and my son know the combination. It would never occur to my grandkids where it is kept. In my opinion, children and young adults are desensitized to violence and have no clue how dangerous weapons are. They play these first person shooter games, never understanding that in real life dead means dead. You don't get 5 lives.
His mother and grandfather are loud and proud raycissts. He shot Zwerner because the "yt witch" made him mad.
She looks angry. Imagine how angry the teacher who was shot is.🤔🤔🤔😡
Why can we not charge judges who constantly release repeat offenders?
In many cases if a child is acting out like that he has been exposed to or a victim of abuse. And or his family is dysfunctional. It is interesting to me that there was nothing about the parents mentioned in this piece. I would think there would be some accountability there as well. Where did he get the gun?
BS they need to charge the students parents. Not the principal.
Why are the children so angry and violent? Their home life needs to be examined.
Making your child attend school with 💩should be considered child abuse.
How do you get choked by a 1st grader?
Principles are there to make sure the schools numbers look right. This effects their budget. As a result they try to minimize & shush violent stuff. This violent student is an example...
In the principals defense, no one expects a 6 year old to have a REAL gun. I would have thought it was a toy gun.
They searched his bag. But but what are that’s schools districts admins rules on searching “pat downs”???
Why is this the only news station saying his backpack WAS searched when everyone else says it was NOT SEARCHED?🤬😡
According to the report from the grand jury, his backpack was searched but the AP refused to allow the guidance counselor to search his pockets
Maybe the parents should be charged instead of the vise principle.
The mother was charged. Daddy nowhere to be seen...for reasons.🤔🤔🤔😒
Mother was sentenced to almost 4 years in prison: 2 yrs on state charges and another 21 months on federal charges
This is the problem with schools these days. They don't hold anyone accountable, the kids, the parents, nobody. They are too worried about the kids feelings ,inconveniencing the parents, parents complaining, or being accused of some kind of discrimination, that they just turn a blind eye to it. It's also become so common with even young primary aged kids that everyone is desensitized to it.
😢so are the parents accountable for anything?
Mother was convicted and sentenced to 21 months on federal charges and 2 yrs on state charges.
How large could a 6 year old’s pocket be? They searched his backpack and found nothing? Really?
Who raised this monster?
Race related against White Teacher
I the beginning, it said a rescued was shot from a 6 yearold. But the title is flipped
The mom let that kid get a gun what’s going on with that family that poor boy
The mom probably feels safer in jail than at home with that little monster!😅
Why couldn’t she just check his pockets herself?
Because children have rights. You can't just look in a kid's pockets.
@@jiml9856 No they don't, not when they are acting in a threatening manner. It's part of her job and she's responsible for the safety of her classroom when students are in her classroom. PERIOD STOP.
A counselor asked the assistant principal for permission to search the kid’s pocket but she refused to do so saying his parent was on the way to pick him up.
Umm ya if I’m the teacher I’m telling the kid to empty his pockets or search them myself.
Sadly, it's not that simple. Our school system looks the way it looks because the systems in place are not practical for 2024.
I just saw this and I have all kinds of questions.
1. How did the 5-6 yr old get the gun and why the parents are not being charged.
2. Why the assistant principal and not the actual principal is being charged.
3. Why neither teacher is being charged?
4. Why the heck would you call the assistant principal anyway??
5. What about the security guard why isnt he involved.
6. What athority does the assistant principal have than all other fauclty members when it comes to firearm safety. Meaning the teach that saw the gun on site didnt attempt to remove it, because they needed her?
OK... If James & Jennifer Crumbley get 10 - 15 years in prison. These parents need 20 - 30... JS
What happens when that kid grows up?
Ending the gun show loop hole wouldn't prevent this from happening. Assault weapons ban wouldn't prevent it either. People just like the sounds of these, but handguns cause way more deaths than any other type of gun.
Wow😢😢
what's up with this "journalists" mustache? half a square inch more and it would be a very "German" looking mustache.
I will never send my child to school too dangerous I
Is this not racism ?
Assistant principle but not the parents? That is odd.
They always ignore the warnings worry about attendance
Charge the parents
I don't think he got the gun at a gunshow.
Not OK to pit teachers against administrators while parents, gun manufacturing, distribution and stores continue to profit. Not OK to blame those inside the schools trying to work on our failing education system. Not their job.
6 yr old how violence is this kid? This is just so awful! Feel bad for the teacher!
So let me get this straight. All these teachers were told about the threat but no one took action? Now it's all on the administrator? I agree she should have taken action after the first report but after that I'm going to need someone to take responsibility for the safety of the children and other staff.
Don't come tell the boss you saw the building is on fire. Pull the alarm and take action yourself.
No, it's on the administrators for their actions before, during, and after the shooting! Then concealing the child's records afterwards! Negligence and corruption!!!
^^^ this.
This thing actually happened when I was in the Corps on the flight line. We had a fire and rather than get the fire bottles and qualified Marines to put the fire out, they sprinted 500 yards to tell the Maintenance chief. Chief sarcastically said "good thing you ran past all those fire bottles on the way here Marine, wouldn't want to waste the mixture you Rockstar" I saw stuff like this everyday when I was serving. Everyone is so afraid of being responsible that when something goes wrong you run and tell boss instead of just dealing with it. However I have also worked in environment where "fixing" problems got you fired.
You're ignoring the racial element. huwite teachers and blk admin and blk student. They were paralyzed by fear of the consequences they knew they would suffer if they called the police on that boy against the admin's say-so.
One of the teachers did search his backpack, but he had moved the gun to his pocket at that point and the Asst Principal explicitly refused to allow the teachers to search him
but again what did the teacher do to the boy for him to go this far?
The wave of the future. You no longer have the choice of "Not getting involved" not a good look.
Im confused. Why are you charging the assistant principle and not the principle. It sounds like a cover-up to me.
Wtf 6 years old
They need to charge the school officials in the Ethan Crumbley case. They thought he was a danger and didn’t insist the parents take him home.
The American dream, where one has equitable access to goods and services, is near death while standing on futility and feebleness...
That 6 year old baby conduct was blatantly ignored, severely trivialized, irrevocably harmed and in the interim pleading for help from anyone at his school to correct... and yet what he got was the end result of educated incompetence.
Nobody gives a flying monkey's backside in America.
Critical Times Hard To Deal With... it has been said! 😮
teachers are not supported by administrators any more😢
Not fair how about the mother. That give her son a gun.

Maine National Guard ignored....
Biden ignored Border.
Perl Harbor ignored.
Captain Archer ignored and got choked by an Augment in his OWN READY ROOM!
Look what happened?
Think a 6 year old got a gun at a gun show?
Most definitely
Schools are failing big time.
A blessed hand ✋️...
Why doesn't this does surprise me?
Problem is this - Schools will not call real police until something like this happens . They want to keep it internally and deal with it themselves . But here the school staff notified the person that was suppose to deal with incidents like students capable of violent outburst. As I see it the former assistant just blew it off and now she becomes the target of a new chapter to be held accountable for failure to act when a real threat was evident .
Blame the parents! Heck, they should charge the principal, superintendents, lunch lady, coach, resource officer, facilities, 3rd-party contractors of the school, dog walkers. Criminal charges may provide grounds for civil lawsuits, the entity being sued has to be able to afford it of course!
Turned a blind eye and a deaf ear!
A jury will NEVER convict her, waste of time and money.
Abby need to sue the skool n principal
Gotta protect your fellow Canadians
This is what happens when it becomes not my responsibility kinder thing a teacher saw the kid with a gun and didn’t take it from the teacher and took it to the principal why didn’t she take the gun off the teacher and where are the parents
Why is a school teacher has to take blame for the responsibility of the parents
Am sure the parents are somewhere screaming the system failed our son
She got that "look"
Prince knew.🤔🤔🤔
WOW ALL THESE SCHOOL SHOOTINGS WHERE MANY CHILDREN DIED, AND THIS PRINCIPAL IS BEING CHARGED FOR A SIX YEAR OLD SHOOTING THAT KILLED NO ONE
She’s a black woman who kinda looks “angry
America don’t play about black men/boys touching yt women
Don't do anything for mental health. It's the guns fault.
I’ve seen the type of people who gets promoted as an admin. Boy, I’ll have to say it’s scary.
It probably has nothing to do with DEI

This was utter neglect and foolishness
IM NOT MAD AT THIS I MAD THAT THE PARENTS ARE NOT CHARGED TOO BUT I THINK SHE WAS FOR OWNING A GUN BUT TESTING POSTIVE FOR SMOKING WEED. BUT ANY WHO THAT PARENT SHOUKD BE CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER
They are being "politically correct" in not acting on obvious signs of something big about to happen.
When I first heard of this incident, I correctly guessed the race of the shooter. Then I figured after multiple reports by fellow students that he had a firearm, the adults were scared of racism charges. If they searched him and couldn't find a weapon, his parent's would have sued the school, with the teachers probably being fired.
What about his parents 🤨 they could have prevented it to
So he took the gun from his back pack and hid it wow.
A lot of complacent people in positions of authority who just don't give a hoot.. sadly. ⛓️⚖️
Why aren’t the other teachers being charged?!!?!
If u indict the AP then u need to charge the INITIAL teachers or staff who heard about it or saw the weapon in the kid's bag and did nothing but report it..
Oh assistant principal shut her door when she found out about shoots fired
The teachers did not see the gun, they reported that 2 different children had claimed to see the gun but when they searched his backpack it wasn't there. The teacher who was shot said she thought she saw him take something from the backpack and put it in his pocket, but they needed permission from the AP to search the boy himself and the AP explicitly denied permission to search him, snidely saying that his pockets were too small for a gun. 20 minutes later he shot his teacher in the chest
Wrong-headed logic! The teachers are all required to close the doors!
Didn’t even look up from her computer smh
