Just got this 2 weeks ago and absolutely love it! It’s a gem! At some point I’ll upgrade the handle bars and brakes. It is an awesome bike. I went for 3:30 / 5200 feet of climbing and had 25% battery left. I don’t touch turbo or trail - as eco is plenty for me - even on 20 / 30 percent inclines - I do them on my analogue bikes - so - I’m sure as hell not going to go to trail or turbo - but I use the ebike for adventure rides and recovery rides. Not my mainstay - I’m still young’n at 57. Maybe when I hit 70, I’ll use it more frequently.

I have a GEN 2 comp and I like a full 29er. I have upgraded the brakes and drive train to full XTR. Coil suspension front and back and new wheels, the bike is just so damn awesome! 4000 miles on the motor without a single problem. I use Levociraptor and the Blevo app so the bike is fully delimited and I can pedal it up to 33 miles an hour.

Exactly what I have, it is an amazing platform but yes very pricey and could have some better parts for that much.

I have a 2021 Turbo levo Comp and was thinking of getting a newer 2022 or 2023 model . But I don't want the small 27.5 back wheel and I prefer my Shimano drivetrain and brakes. I have a 700 kw battery. I really don't see any incentive to buy a newer bike .

Don't do it! I have the same bike as you and I have upgraded everything to Shimano XTR and Coil suspension and the thing is a beast! I'm a full 29er fan and I have 4000 miles on my bike without a single problem.

It would be nice if they had a shimano model though.

I've retroed my bike to 100% Shimano and it rides beautifully and you can never hear me shifting and my brakes are excellent. Meanwhile my buddies who are riding SRAM make a lot of clunking and scrunching noises when they shift! And their brakes are squishy!

@@boblatkey7160 yeah I’ve just got a trek fuel ex8 which has shimano slx. Hyper glide + is amazing!!! Bang through the gears it’s so good! The new sram transmission is probably just as good but $$.

@@boblatkey7160 your bike a levo? How much did you have to do to swap the cassette over to shimano? New freehub?

Great bike but upgrade to Link Glide to save a heap on cassettes and chains and get more miles.

You do know that there is no throttle......it only assists the pedaling mostly on uphill, it won't move on its own. I have a motorcycle and this bike, nothing alike.
