Great video that shows how great this bike is and how much riding you can really do with it. I’m at 4300 miles on my 2021 Turbo Levo Comp. Fantastic bike that climbs anything and is rock solid on the downhills. Who knew that rocky rooty new england climbs could be so much fun. I also pump up the tires and chase my wife gravel ebiking around Vermonts Northeast Kingdom. This bike is a life changer
I’ve played with the idea of getting an E-MTB since a couple of my friends got Trek Rail 9.8. I went to their website and saw they didn’t make a frame to fit my height (6’-7”). Since I’m a stubborn old man (67, soon to be 68) I found the bike your purchased. I watched a ton of videos and read as much as I could. I ordered the bike last week and should be here later this coming week. It’s been maybe a little over 7 years since I’ve been on a bike of any kind since getting a replacement hip and 2 knees. Not too concerned since I have 3 motorcycle and ride almost every week. Some offroad and others on the street. Looking forward to a new chapter of my life.
GREAT REVIEW. Mid 50's couple (ex-moto) here that were on analogs a year ago. Switched to Levo's (Comp Alloy & Comp Carbon) and we have never looked back. So much more enjoyable to get out and ride. Able to enjoy (and talk to each other) during climbs. Just got back from riding Blankets Creek, Alatoona Creek, Bentonville AR (six days!), The Rail Yard and then Kanuga. Not once was I out of breath or in need of a break! Started each day at 100% and on average came back to the Vrbo with about 10%. Kanuga was non-stop fun which required a 30% recharge during lunch to get in a few more laps. Can't express how much these Levo's have changed our riding experience for the BETTER over the past six months of ownership. Zero issues with each bike. Skuzzy MTB nailed this review and the part of 'in love with this bike' is a mutual feeling.
Omg this was awesome to read! I couldn't agree with you more about the bike. I already loved this sport but I believe these Levo's are designed so well I could ride for what feels like forever.
Nice comment. Has you have alloy and carbon levo’s, Can you please help me with your experience? Tomorrow I’m choosing between a carbon one with low end components or the alloy comp with better ones (fork, brakes,…). I really don’t know which one to chose but when it comes to aesthetics the carbon one wins. I don’t know if the riding experience is that much different.
@@Gomonte1976 My two cents $$$. I picked the carbon for the flat black look (love it). I'm not an advanced/pro rider so the frame material would not hinder my enjoyment or ride either way. Alloy would suit me just fine too. You can always upgrade components on the carbon if you like that look better. Either way - you will love the Levo. I've ridden my wife's alloy and had same amount of FUN as my carbon. One noticeable difference worth noting is the motor noise is louder on my carbon. Wife's alloy is much quieter with motor noise. Nothing crazy but louder for sure on the carbon frame. Enjoy your new Levo!
I love my turbo levo alloy! Got it last year about this time and it already has 1k plus miles! I have ridden trails all around and just having this baby on my side changed my perspective and confidence!! 🎉🎉🎉❤
Just bought 2 for the wife and I, haven’t picked them up yet but excited as hell and glad I’ve found this review to calm my fears of spending so much on a bike with no engine! Great review, thank you 😊
I just purchased this as my first eMTB, and your video was one of the reasons why :) I got the summer discount though, so at that price point it feels even better :D
People who think ebikes are cheating are just punishing themselves. They are way more fun than allowing you to do a whole lot more. I actually burn more calories on my e-bike because I can now ride uphill instead of walking uphill.
Thanks for the climbing focused video. It looks and sounds like this is where the bike shines. Looking forward one day, still riding a 26er and saving.
THIS LOOKS LIKE A LOT OF FUN BETTER THAN ANY MOVIE ON MAX OR ANY OTHER NICE. YOUR REVIEW IS ON THE MONEY WITH REGULAR RIDERS THAN PROS RIDING THESE BIKES . IM JUST IN AWE WATCHING AND CONTINUE SAVING UP FOR ONE . NOW LET ME GET BACK FROM PAUSING YOUR SHOW
Well good news from me is that I ride a GEN two levo and I am coming up on 4000 miles without a single problem. The biggest upgrade was Vorsprung smash pot coil suspension up front and push 11 six coil for the rear. I absolutely love my bike and have to say it is the funnest damn toy I have ever had in my life.

The day before I rode my sentinel and did 4 laps in the time it took me to do 10. Double the fun a third of the effort. And if you’re feeling guilty. Just ride in eco mode. Plus! You can tow homies if you’re feeling really guilty. I had one in my pocket and offered tows to people and made a couple of new friends. Just wish they made a full 29 version in the turbo levo. So I just got an intense Tazer mx pro for $6400 and then after rode a levo. I REALLY liked the levo and I had planned on sending that intense back as soon as it was delivered and getting this exact bike in an S4 size. Hi there. Interested in the range you get from your bike . I’ve just bought the 2023 turbo Levo alloy comp , what sort of ranges are you getting ? I know of depends on where your riding etc , I’d be interested to know your go to settings you use , you now adjust how much motor power and rider power you require . Love the bike. my old bike had a Bosch smart system , took a while for battery to bed in to get good ranges . Is this similar to the brose motor this bike has .? Thanks
For range I am able to get a 20 mile ride done in a day which is insane, and that's when I am absolutely cooked and can't physically ride anymore. That is also when the battery is drained. The 700 watt battery size is great, I don't think I even need more than that. And I'm also using boost mode quite a bit during the nastier climbs. I did adjust my settings in the App too. So I have shuttle at about 30% for the boost mode which helps a lot and eats more battery but I'm still able to put in a 20 mile day. It's wild.

Great review! Is the bike in your opinion also suitable for occasional longer tours where you ride mainly on asphalt? or does it not have the right geometry for that?
I do believe this would work well for that condtion as well. Lock out the front and rear suspension, inflate your tires to a fairly high PSI level and this battery should last you quite a while! Geo is comfortable too.
I bought one and like you it’s a game changer. Already put 1000km on it and have just upgraded to SRAM GX Transmission electronic shifting which makes it even more of a dream. I’m riding almost everyday the only thing to slow me down will be winter here in NZ. 👍
It's awesome I want one so bad, but even at 5500 it's just out of the cards for me at the moment. I'll be slogging up the hill on a light bike for a bit longer.
Curious what swayed you towards the Levo over any other eMTB available out there? Did you consider the Levo SL at all? If so, what brought you back to the standard Levo?
Great question! I really wanted a minimum of 700 watts for the battery, and I also wanted something with full power. The Standard Levo checked those boxes for me.
ECO is perfect for Downhill. Gives you just enough assistance when you need a couple cranks to hit a jump, or get up a climbing section that is in the middle of your favorite downhill trail.
I have heard it is possible, but it may limit you in a few choice options for tires. You may have to change the head tube angle as well for it to feel like the original geometry. I would double check this is true though.
Even though I agree with some of your comments but for an individual who has recently acquired their first e-bike, you certainly assert some unequivocal statements. I have possessed and ridden a diverse array of e-bikes over the past decade, yet I have never ventured to make some of the hasty judgments that you appear to be making. You need to ride your new bike for at least a few days if not weeks or months before making so many definitive judgements.
Well said and I agree with you. I am happy to report I have already put almost 300 miles on this bike already and everything I have stated in this video remains true.
I'll take a Canyon Spectral myself thanks. You gotta put better brakes on em but then you have a total beast of an ebike at a cheaper price than these overpriced Specialized bikes

I have the same bike, week 2 now. It is awesome. You sound just like the lockpicking lawyer, Watch his videos' so you know what to use to lock it up.
Great choice! I’m itching to get back on the bike this weekend. Almost seems like I can go to any trail now 🤠
It's awesome I want one so bad, but even at 5500 it's just out of the cards for me at the moment. I'll be slogging up the hill on a light bike for a bit longer.
No shame! I get it. Shoot, I had to use the financing. Let me know if you ever pull the trigger!
@@skuzzymtb6606 sick vid btw. Ride looks fun perfect for an emtb
Was your wife riding the same bike? Is so, wondering what size her bike is and is she likes it as much as you do. Thanks!
How tall are you riding with an S5 frame ?
So when going down, are u in eco?
Eco is going to give you more than enough power for those hills if youre in the right gear
How tall are you when you choose the S5? I'm 196cm (6.4") and wondering between S5 and S6.
I’m 5’ 11” closer to 6 foot. For you I would highly recommend the S6. The mullet setup is a wonderful balance. This bike floats underneath you.
How tall are you pal?
sweet!
How tall are you?
What Mode do you use while downhill ?
ECO is perfect for Downhill. Gives you just enough assistance when you need a couple cranks to hit a jump, or get up a climbing section that is in the middle of your favorite downhill trail.
Black Rock's climb is rough, and they know it. It has 3 benches for sitting on the way up. Lol
In the past, I have used all 3 of those benches! lol
Can you ride throttle only?
there is no throttle
Just keep it in turbo all the time, life's too short
That’s the spirit! 🤙
My friend does that and he is heavier than me and at the end of the day our battery state of charge is still almost the same. So do it!
I do yes great fun battery still lasts ages
Does anyone know if it’s safe to replace the rear 27.5 wheel with a 29” wheel
I have heard it is possible, but it may limit you in a few choice options for tires. You may have to change the head tube angle as well for it to feel like the original geometry. I would double check this is true though.
Sorry but that motor housing size is not something I can look past lol
Makes me want to sell my duramax and buy an ebike.
You will not regret it. This bike is an absolute dream. And it’s on sale right now.
Electric motor great when working , on number 5 , battery connector stupid idea , cannot rely on bike . Bought a giant has never gone wrong 👌
Not over priced you get what you pay for fantastic bikes
So I just got an intense Tazer mx pro for $6400 and then after rode a levo. I REALLY liked the levo and I had planned on sending that intense back as soon as it was delivered and getting this exact bike in an S4 size. I was having issues finding my size around me and while searching I notice another site had the same Tazer I just ordered for $4300 on close out. I got the site I ordered from to price match and that is the only reason I decided to keep the Tazer. It’s also spec’d like a $9000 levo pro but for me I’m sure the alloy comp would be fine. Either way I’m very happy but I do see a Levo as my next machine, the motor is just too good and the frame and ergos feel amazing for me.
Oh man I do not blame you for sticking with that insane deal! I would have done the same. That's a sick bike too
