FYI just contacted midland turbo and asked what they charge to fit the part as I purchased it myself like they have in the video. they told me they do not offer the service even when I linked the video in my email explaining what I needed doing……
I have the code p029921, ive changed the Solenoid and the actuator but the problem is still there im about to order the egr valve vacuum hope that solves the problem. Please let me know of anything else i should look into.
The mamba kit comes in 3 parts..the flipper and shaft, the sleeve and the actuator connection piece. How do you keep the actuator connection on the shaft....it just slides on and there does not seem to be any retainer or what of it turning the shaft !?
Would you expect to have no boost / very little boost all the time if this was failing ? On my A45 at times particular at higher speeds I’ll be accelerating and it feels like all of a sudden the boost dies off - doesn’t happen all the time and if I turn the car off and back on everything is good again and can remain like that for the rest of the drive. If not likely to be this issue, do you know what the problem could be ?
Thanks for the reply back - I don’t get any lights on the dash when it happens .. would something be logged if I were to get it plugged in ? How much am I looking for this repair ? Can I do any checks to confirm it is that issue ? Thanks again for the replt.
Hey man were you able to fix that problem? I have a mercedes c450 amg and its literally doing the same exact thing like yours and aswell i have to turn off the car then turn it back to in order for it to run back to normal
Yes I ended up wasting money because of a misdagnostics from one of the mechanic. I got a second opinion from a Mercedes master tech and was able to identify the boost sensor out. Once we changed that it was back to normal. My turbo never messed up and all these posts lead me to believe it was my turbo wastegate. Hope that helps. Lmk if you need help with anything else. If you are in Texas I can tell you who checked it out
Thank you, that’s very helpful. I have also changed my turbo and still getting the same problem. Do you know the part number or the exact sensor you changed. Thanks
@@godfreysautomotiveservices I got you. Appreciate the response was hoping it was something that you did to increase performance of the turbo not just the waste gate. Great info though and appreciate the response!
Very informative and correct. This is a common fault which I've just had to deal with on mine. Will be doing the same repair via midland turbo.

Our customer was experiencing the same issue. Very intermittent and when ignition cycled vehicle was ok again. This fixed his issue 👍

How do we adjust the rods
Can anyone tell me...when the wastegate is open, should there be any play in the rod and the linkage from the actuator to the turbo housing?

Did you have a part number from the piece that fixed it? My GLA45 has the same issue, but i cannot find anywhere that sells just those parts.

Did you ever fix it?

@@waqasanwer5702how much was the sensor for you ? Going through it now
Why did you not show actually replacing the wastegate on the video? Is this something that can be done. Also, you did use the Mamba part correct?
Because we didn’t replace the wastegate, we sent it to midland turbos to carry out as it says in the video 👍
