The OEM diverter valve recirculates the air to the intake. I wonder if the aftermarket valve works exactly the same. Or to make the "cuff" sound, does it release the air pressure to the atmosphere? If so, does it cause any problems, such as performance loss during acceleration?

I have same problem. I think the problem is turbo. Maybe it’s cracked

Your turbos are probably not broken, most probably its the westgate issue. Westgate is loosing pressure. If you can find a westagate, you dont need to change the entire turbo. IF you can not find it, you need to change entire turbo. Mercedes dont sell it seperately
