Should I keep both Stradales or sell one to fund other projects ? ....if so which one RHD Black or LHD Silver ?
If the Silver one was RHD I’d keep that one … however selling it you could properly bling out the black one
Fund f40!!!
Sell the silver Stradale.
Keep both!! The work and love that’s gone into them is worth more than money. Do you still have the 911?
Sell the silver one. The black one holds too many memories for you..
Totally support yellow callipers! Gonna look awesome against the silver and the yellow ferrari shield :)
I’ve never been in a Ferrari I’m sad to say, not even sat in one. But with your videos Scott I get the next best thing! Fun, entertaining but above all properly informative. Well done bud, loving the build. Keep em coming 👍🏻👍🏻
Definitely go to a show and ask the owner to sit in one!
I did a driving experience with an instructor and drove a 430. It's not too expensive, and definitely worth the money.
Scott, you truly are a man of the people. It's like watching a good friend working on a project car. We can all relate. I really enjoyed this extra length episode too. ✌🏻🇺🇸
I appreciate that!
Excellent update Scott! The car looks amazing. I can't wait to see what you do in the engine compartment. Oh, yellow calipers would look amazing too! I would do them in yellow for sure. Make the care unique.
About the button: you can order online a duplicate silicone mold system for £40. Another cool option is to turn one in aluminum on a lace. Would be nicer then a plastic one and pretty easy to do?
Love that idea !!!
@@Ratarossa You can also put the red button in silver stradale and stick or glue it there since now it match perfectly with the red interior,
while the old black car will match with yellow bits (scuderia shields, brake calipers and yellow tachometer).. so there will be ok the yellow starter.. ;0)
Maybe try a 3D printer to build a new button cover?
3d print it for rapid prototypes, once happy metal 3d print it. You'll find a lot of companies doing this in the US.
The metal lathed button would feel far nice than 3d printed plastic!
That green mercedes looked absolutely fire 🔥🔥🔥
Wow Scott. I enjoy watching your hard work and results. keep these videos coming! Great job!
Your man in Albania does superb work 👏 👌
Fascinating to see the story of how it all goes together. Looking great to! Thanks! 🙏🙏
Scott great vids as always and thanks for supporting the Albanian people
I’d say sell the silver and make the black great again!
Yellow callipers.
And for the button, I’ll suggest to 3D print using resin printer, not filament. Search for the difference, with resin you get the super nice finish.I’ve worked with both technologies
Scott, I thought yellow brake calipers would look good but after seeing the predominantly red interior they need to stay red. You’re doing a great job and fun to watch. 👍👍😁🤩
What a job you are doing Scott! It looks fantastic. 👌👍
I've been following the build and it looks awesome. Keep up the good work!
Oh man, that car looks better than I could’ve imagined. 🔥🔥🔥 Outstanding job!!!
Cheers for the video mate 😎 👌
Love the passion you have for Ferrari, they are just amazing cars. This project is almost complete, you must excited to be on the home straight. 🔥👍
Really excited with this car is come together really well
Mad Man! Well done
Scott is my hero. Nicely done.
Very very nice....im a big fan of yellow calipers...interior is sick !!!
Awesome work bro! Keep it up!
Wondering why nobody has suggested using the cap off a bottle of Coke as the start button until you find a replacement 😂😂
That would trigger a cease and desist letter from maranello..lol
Looking really good Scott 👍 🙂
I wasn't even interested in Ferraris before finding your channel. Now I'm hooked!
It looks absolutely stunning ! ♥️
Great video, Thank You!!!
So nice, you really had a great vision for this car
Coming together Scott 👌🏼
Beautiful work Scott! Another great video and the car is really coming along. Yellow callipers would look cool, I must admit, but whichever colour option you go for it's going to look great 🙂. As for should you sell one? I had been wondering about that. I doubt you'll want to part with your black one, so if the silver one will fund your future projects, it seems like a no-brainer to (reluctantly!) part with that one.
Loving your content don’t understand why you don’t have more subs ❤ 👍
That is the elephants danglies Scott (old max power talk) Love the channel and I patiently wait for the next instalment!! Much love ❤
Looks fab!!! ❤️👌
Great video and build Scott. Nice to have choices on which color Stradale you want to drive. Yellow brake rotors for sure on the Silver car. How's the 512BB coming along?
Great video doing catch up. Calliper colour perfect. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Phenomenal job fella!
Man I've drove all over Ireland to source parts but flying to the states for a seat! That's dedication
He did say in the video that there were other reasons (besides the seat) that he went to the US.
I'm sure we will see the other reasons in a video soon enough.👍
Totally enjoyed this one 👌
You really do a fabulous job… and all self taught… amazing ❤
Incredible interior and exterior refurbish. All around the world to source parts.
That interior is a work of art Scott👌🏻 Another vote here for the yellow calipers! Keep the black stradale, sell the silver👍🏻
@@graham6229 should have gone to spec savers😉 I was referring to the talented upholsterers that covered the dash ect……..
Pure awesomeness!!!!
This is such a great build series. The detective work to source parts just adds to the satisfaction of seeing it all come together.
Thanks buddy, sourcing the parts and trying to get them at realistic prices was the biggest battle on this rebuild
Beautiful job !
Yellow calipers if you ask me... Cool car. Very cool car. From guy that have even see Ferrari... But as car enthusiast, You are doing tremendous job. Thank you. Greetings from Croatia!
Not a fan of Ferraris - but love your videos as the amount of work and dedication that goes into the projects is amazing. While they are not my kind of car, I love watching cars being rebuilt from shells to awesome on road vehicles.
You crushing with these builds.
yay my yellow recommendation made it into video!
Keep the Silver one! Great videos, keep up the great work.
Definitely switch the calipers to yellow! Red just doesn't look right with the silver body and yellow logos.
Just wow Brilliant 👏
Great video Scott as usual, has to be yellow callipers. If you sell one then the silver one has got to be the keeper.
Good call!
+1 for painting the callipers yellow 👌
Love the seats they look great in the car big plus lightweights nice
Looking good👍
I can only admire someone who can say "...one of my stradale". Cheers!
That dash is a work of art - and the red brakes look cool TBF 👍
Look at the gap at 21:55 And you dare to call that a work of art?🤣
And then that cheap leather dash with those cheapo plastic snap-in-place buttons, panels and airvents that lloks like as if 15 year old kid made it's own
home made race simulator with a cheap Logitech steering wheel, buttons and pedals.
Awesome
Beautiful job interior, looking forward to the next one, sell it for new projects, thanks
Loving this build. Black calipers.
definetly a KEEPER Scott.
Wow, that interior is awesome 👍🏻. So one ratty 360 and one mint. Gotta have options 🤣👌🏻
Have you ever thought about tackling a manual conversion? I would be interested to see everything that's involved. With the prices of gated manuals soaring (at least in the US), it might be more cost effective for many enthusiasts to convert an F1 car to a manual versus paying the premium for a factory gated car.
Wow. That magician in Albania does some damn amazing work. Impressive
Thanks!
You could make a silicone mould of that button and cast it in resin. Loads of vids on YT on how to do it.
That interior is looking sweet!
The only reason I would recommend against the yellow calipers is that, under heavy braking with CCB and how hot they get, the yellow finish will tend to turn brown over time. Red and black will show the heat aging a lot less than yellow.
Lovin the build Scott, a machine shop should be able to turn a switch cover up easily and then mill the writing in……. 👍
I love the mk3 golf wing mirror switch in these 😂
Also, yellow calipers for sure!
Looks awesome - great job! Nice to see a C63. I've got a Biturbo C63S, sound might be better on the N/A version, but they're still proper mental. Screw cap from a wine bottle and a dab of paint would work for the start button...
Super project, mate. The cost of those screws! Ferrari parts costs are probably the most eye-watering in the business. Makes Porsche parts look cheap.
Well, if anyone knows the "nuts and bolts" details of a Stradale, it's Mr.Scott Ratarossa.
Amazing attention to detail Scott...potential buyers must be drooling at the thought of picking this one up.
I suggested yellow calipers last time around and based on that image from the registry you showed, I’d say I was right! 😁
That said…looking at your black strad with its yellow calipers, I kinda had a slightly mad idea. I happen to think red on black is a great look and you happen to have red calipers and yellow calipers, so why not swap them from one car to another? I recall that bleeding the brakes on an older Ferrari is it’s own special hell, but if you are willing to put in the elbow grease you could get it done at no additional cash outlay.
looking good.
Given a proper pattern to measure and design from, I can 3-d print one in PETG. I've done something similar for my motorcycle start button. Best bet is if I had the start cover and the button it fits on in hand, then I can test and tweak the CAD as needed to get the best fit. Reach out if interested. I'm in NY
I'd say sell the silver one since it is LHD, and use some of the proceeds to refurbish the black one and then have some money left for the next project.
And I'm glad to see that I wasn't the only person who liked the idea of yellow calipers.
First! Love your stuff man!
Making for Motorsport is in the UK and does great 3D printing for cars.
Scott your black car is an absolute nail lol but hats off to you using it properly
Hey Scott, what do you plan for the black car? Its a bit rough the inside and everything.. will you trim that to into new alcantara and exterior ?
Where else will you see a roll bar leaned against a Testarossa in a honest to goodness garage. Love the channel.
I’ve jumped over from STG, great content!
Thanks buddy, appreciate you joining, Hope you enjoy the content
I'd love to see the interior carbon refinished with a satin or matte finish 😍
You can make a simple 2 part silicone mold and cast that button in resin really easily! Better surface quality than 3d pint too.
Go yellow that looks epic!!!
yellow was my suggestion on the last vid, yellow is a very ferrari colour, often only seen on there top end stuff.
Yellow is definitely the right choice!
If you measure it up it that button would be easy enough to print... same with the surround. Just need the OD, ID and thickness. Size of text. Same with the surround though would need a picture of the surround.
Both items should be made of ABS and vapor smoothed. Might take a few goes to get perfect but is definitely doable. Then would require paint. Like someone else suggested already - you could also get it resin printed.
For what it is - someone may even be able to CNC it for you from plastic also. Heaps of options and whoever does it will probably be able to offload more than one.
Keep the red calipers looks awesome 😁
I could do the 3D CAD of that button, I'd need a scan (not a 3D scan, just a flat bet scan)
getting that seat from the USA was exceptional work
Yes! Do the yellow!
If originality is the aim then go with the OG colour, if changing it to look nicer whilst keeping within what was available from Ferrari as an option, I like the yellow.
As you said, it matches the shield which is right in view with the wheel and callipers.
A little detail missed by Ferrari..... That 12v cover for the 12v power really should say V12 lol.
Like the way it’s turned out 👍🏻 I did want to ask if you put some sound mat on the inside of the carbon fiber door panels to quiet that area down. As far as the keeping, keep which ever one calls to you. Oh, Red Callipers😊
Theres literally no sound deadening on these CS cars. Ferrari went to extreme lengths to shed weight and so all the floor material they used on the spider and modena cars was stopped away for the CS and from memory doing the spider build it was about 5kgs
That's an awesome investment. For that little cap, once is no longer available can be made out of aluminium, using a cnc machine or a mechanical lathe and then paint it red with all the engraving.
Would be inexpensive and as good as the original.
The red calipers definitely look the best on the silver car. The yellow may be unusual but the red is superior.
Looks beautiful. I have two questions:
You took a while to point out that you had those long grey interior bits from your original 360. I can’t figure out what they are, or where they were mounted.
Secondly, is it my imagination, or are the prancing horses on the two seats not matching? They look different sizes. And different positions.
Scott it’s astounding how you find these Stradale parts! The seats, steering wheel, the carbon mirrors… Do you ever get to sleep or are you always running searches in all corners of the internet?!
I would definitely have someone 3d print the one you still have for the start button!
I'm very happy for you, but maybe a little jealous? that spec is turning out great! always loved Ferrari's in non traditional Red.
Silver is just amazing.
