Thanks for answering my request for Corvina's. I'm known around all my friends as Capt'n Jim, (use to guide for strippers on lake Texoma ) anyways I used to catch sand dabs off Dana Point and in a small cove by point Loma. If your baits were coming back with teeth rakes, might try a stinger hook. probably the notorious hali short bite.
