Great test for the UCONN Huskies. Alabama played as well as possible and still lost by 14 points. Zach Edey and Purdue are another challenge for this remarkable Basketball Mad University. You have to really live in Connecticut as I did from 1999 to 2001 to understand just how many publications and sports journalists report on this team, and that's way before both Men's and Women's basketball teams became juggernauts. Whoever grabs him in the draft will be getting a steal. 6’11, (looks closer to 6’10 imo but great size regardless) appears to have a solid wingspan, can be a decent weak side rim protector, has a fluid handle, can be a small ball 5, stretch 4, or a big 3. Has potential as a shooter, and can elevate as well, seems to be a high floor type of player. At worst I see him as a 7th or 8th man on a good team. At best he can be a less athletic Paolo. 🤷🏿‍♂️
