The curve part seems way too important to just be skipped over like that... I have to go to other tutorials to learn about it now, so this wasn't really helpful, sorry.
Here I am, a complete amateur, literally transforming / hand animating ever frame of the ball bounce thinking "this can't be right, there must be a smarter way to do this". This answered all of my questions. Amazing.
Ok one question - any idea how to like.. stop the bezier curve? At the part after my last curve-related frame I'm trying to make some Keyframes of the ball rolling away but it's still like tether to the bezier curve and all over the place.
I figured out most of this tutorial but there was a lot of trial and error because a lot of things just arnt explained. like stretching out the ball and having it only being part of the keyframe didnt work for me at all.
Can you please explain how you got the extra handles on the bezier curve? How did you get from two handles at the start of the curve to continuous handles? This tutorial looks really well presented other than this as there's no explaination given here :/
he extrudes them im pretty sure, basically u just press the g key on ur keyboard and then press the e key (or maybe u just press the e key lol im a beginner too), and then you adjust the length and click when its ur desired length, u do this for each arc
nice tut, but since you were already using constraints, you could have used the volume constraint for the deformation of the ball as well, it kinda makes things a bit easier
same, I keep clicking "i" but the insert keyframe menu i got is entirely different. Idk if I should click all channels, only selected channels or in active group.
would love if this tutorial was a little more in depth... there are various times you do something really fast without explaining what you are doing.. leaving the viewer confused and stuck at times
@@mellowbizzare man i just watched this like 3 times and couldnt really get it mainly cuz blenders been changing etc. I'd just use the graph editor bro. a;; i did was create a start and stop point with key frames >then went into the graph editor right clicked on my Z axis >then interpolation mode> then under dynamic effects i clicked Bounce and just played around with that till i got the right effect, and then just did simple animations to make the ball roll a bit more after the bounces hope this helped. No hate to this creator bro seems chill, keep up the great work everyone!!!!!
That was not helpful. I appriciate it's light and short tutorial but I have no idea how to use that biezer line or whatever this is... not helpful sorry
Select the Bezier curve, go TAB into edit mode on it, press A to select all the points on the Bezier curve, look at the top left options on your screen and click on Segments -> Switch Direction
Guys this is outdated heavily, also this is made with the intent you know curves, so... just look at another tutorial This is a better video: ruclips.net/video/yxtEzIWDdgI/видео.html&ab_channel=StreamScholar - first 10 minutes is a very good basic explanation of the graph editor - After 10 minutes is a very good bouncing ball animation that is easy to do
Broooo, the part about rolling the ball over is literally hyper speed and not explained at all. C'mon man... I give up on modifying it, just gonna be proud i got the brazier curve to work. ( I know it's Bezier I'm just upset)
I don't like it that you moved on to 3d since I liked ur 2d animation not saying you got to go back but I liked ur 2d animations better plus you got more views sorry if I was rude
team_stealth its all good, i got something really cool coming been working on that animation for a while. You just gotta wait like idk another few months😭😭😭
Perfect example of what a horrid interface blender has. Also, I think they have a curve editor and if its not as bad as the rest of the interface, that would have been the place to do the animation.
I have no idea how to use the Bezier curve and this tutorial didn't really help at all.
same here
Doesn't take a genius to figure out though, does it
It does
Same bro 😂
Real

@Langston Felix you are welcome xD

@@timehikes bit late but skip the "click animate along path", that causes problems when I've used it
Uhm so uuuh, why can't i get my ball to bounce realisticly with the key frame, I put the keyframes in but it bounces the same
I figured out most of this tutorial but there was a lot of trial and error because a lot of things just arnt explained. like stretching out the ball and having it only being part of the keyframe didnt work for me at all.

i done same as you told till 0:51sec but the ball not followign the path of curve its still at top
nice tut, but since you were already using constraints, you could have used the volume constraint for the deformation of the ball as well, it kinda makes things a bit easier
I got past the curve part but the keyframe inserting got me. I got stuck there
I HATE KEYFRAMES
same, I keep clicking "i" but the insert keyframe menu i got is entirely different. Idk if I should click all channels, only selected channels or in active group.
Easy to follow, love your chill demeanor.
how do i open the loc roc, i keep right clicking the window that's opening is entirely different.
It automatically starts bouncing at 0. I need to have it begin at 115. Idk how do i set it so it starts at 115?
how do i make multiple path 1:03
I got an error saying path is already animated. Couldn't go beyond that.
would love if this tutorial was a little more in depth... there are various times you do something really fast without explaining what you are doing.. leaving the viewer confused and stuck at times
I'm still stuck

For those of you who are confused about editing the curve, hit tab to go into edit mode
this is so helpful tysm!
i was about to shoot my laptop from the roof but just a moment before saw your comment... so Thank You!
Hey there. You can use a maintain volume constraint on the ball so you don't have to worry about doing it manually!
how ?
Keep posting great work❤❤
0:45 thank you..🥹✨
Umm where's the Bezier after you select it?
bro what you did with offset numbers was so confusing
