    Is it just my blender or is normal that changing the attributes doesn't cause any reaction? Do I need a patch maybe?

    When I do it, the ball goes through the surface and doesn't bounce back. I did the exact same copy of your settings.

      Kindly go to physics properties..every step is shown at the start of the video.. it will work👍

    The most important thing you didn't show it why?????? How did you put the shadow behind the balls, giving something incomplete, like you never gave it

      There is default light source option in the scene collection menu, due to which u will get shadow effect. You can also add multiple light sources as per requirement.
