I’m in this wife same situation. Only difference I’ve been groomed in a way that I didn’t see 😢. My husband good friend and now fiancée took advantage of me on a night out while my husband was out of town. This isn’t anything different. We’ve gone out plenty of times but this time they made the move. Also let me add I was only a year in my marriage. Had our 1st child and dealing with major depression at that time. None of this shouldn’t happened but when you are coming from soooo many broken places you tend to hurt yourself and others. Depending on your background your trauma shows up in some awful ways at times. Sometimes it’s self inflection other times you hurt those that are closer to you. I will say this. Never judge how Satan uses your mind and body when you’re broken and God haven’t yet healed you. Heartache and a broken childhood with 0 therapy of decades can alter a person thinking. I was fully broken with a lot of unresolved trauma and I hurt my best friend, my husband because of my lack of love, self love, and so many things. I’ve learned to never be so self righteous that you don’t see the enemy at work on the your area of brokenness.

Why Cheat?. Break up with your partner and then you can do what you want and nobody gets hurt. There is never ANY reason for cheating.
