I visited Dubai dealer “Gargash” today and taken all the details from the sales person. Had a visual look and i loved the options. The amount you pay for this GS8 and options you get from it i say its Super. Miles better to pay for this car rather paying for Toyota Prado or other Suvs. No toyota , Chevrolet, GMC, Honda, Nissan can give you luxury or options like this which this car is giving in this price trust me.
@@megachristy9838 this is what is in mind too. How long lasting is the Chinese vehicles this we have to research. As long as these vehicles cover 6-7 years i don’t have any issue. Any vehicle 6-7 years sure get screwed doesn’t matter Japanese or whatever get screwed for sure. I love prado but i hate what the F*** you pay 200K+ Aed for it and in return we get shit options in it……
@@megachristy9838 Yeah, i feel warranty of 7 years being given by them gives a lot of weightage to one's decision making plus i saw all the 7 seaters like highlander; outlander, prado, etc and this one gives real space for 7 seater. Others were joke when it came to 7 seater. Its a beauty. Yes, Chinese factor does make it a bit suspectible but with warranty of 7 years, i am going ahead. Thinking about resale value now doesn't make sense espcially you wish to enjoy the car now.
Hey, how is the responsiveness of the touch screen? Do you see any traces of it slowing down with use and months? Also how do you use the map for navigation-does it come from the phone or it has its own navigation map, if so how too update the map? If the map is mirrored from phone- is there any lag given Google map itself has a lot of lag these days?
Despite it being Chinese, it's becoming a proper alternative to the Explorer and Santa Fe (and even the Everest). But I'd still take the Everest over this, as it's more spacious and it has more and better features.
One thing nobody mentions about these Chinese cars is that they almost always require premium gasoline (95 RON or higher). That means you spend more on fuel.
I have gac gs8, i bought it last may 2024, the performance is awesome, the after sales is good..
There's a spare tire sir? And how's the performance coz I'm planning also

Completely agree. I'm only concerned how it'll be after 5 years. Prados and Pathfinders tend to be robust even after 5 years.

Maybe a new car after 5 years wont be boring

I have a 7 year old fortuner.
Ang sakit na ng likod ko kaka drive.
I trade in ko talaga dito. Antay lang ng kaunti pang panahon 😎
After watching the Ford Explorer review, I must say that this one is much much better!

Please also add trunk liters to your measurements.
How spacious is the middel and last row seat?
The dash here is only 7inches i saw some model used by some people here ni the philippines that have full screen dash is that an option??
Kumsta after sales?
Love your review ❤👍👍

Got one of this 4x2. The only thing i dont like about sa everest is body-on-frame.
Everest is body on frame. It can never compete in the Comfort/ride quality aspect as the mid-size crossovers like the GS8, Explorer and Santa Fe.
Is the everest larger than this? Or just have a taller ground clearance? Planning to buy this or Everest around 2Q
@@APFLAC GS8 is longer and wider than the Everest but 62mm shorter in height as it's a crossover.
Compare to.everest gs8 is more compatable and powerful engine
What’s the ground clearance?
200mm
@@autoindustriya thanks…
this is less thank the Subaru outback@@autoindustriya (considering its size)
With pop up headlights!
Would you say 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe better ?
For me yes but smaller

Waiting for the time I see 10-year-old Chinese cars in numbers. Then I'll jump in.
Well, Geely CR has been around for 5 years now. The cars still look great and in great shape. I doubt they won't last for 10 years.
Consider SOURCE EFFECT before pushing the BUY BUTTON😊
If only it is a diesel powered car
GAC isn't into diesel anymore
Diesel for what???pollution?
I think this car is well equipped for a 7 seater, i wish other manufacturers make use of a 2.0 engine rather than a 1.5 especially on the mpv market.
@@dancedriclagmanBoth fuel and diesel if oil filter not replaced, then it is bad. Only the designed are different and its intension.
@@codelessunlimited7701 true. I experienced it in my Kia Carnival. Forgot to oil change it for two weeks, fuel consumption is 5 to 6kpl.
the honda crv is definitely better despite the price
This car competes Armada, Cadillac, Sequoia.
It's not comparable nor they are at the same segment.
😅😅😅😅 sana review mo focus on the quality and safery
First!
