I LOVED this video, one of my favourite ones to research and script- Marine Serre is so so sick, a true pioneer of a smarter way forward for this industry.

The term “overnight success“ has always seemed like a…. minimization of all the education training blood sweat and tears the person put into their craft. Cera worked their ass off to get the success they’ve achieved. Not only the design choices but Cera has got the industry to do the one thing it doesn’t like to do: To get the industry to see there is a different way to do things!!
    *UPCYCLED COUTURE?!?!* obsessed. yes PLEASE!
It’s really amazing how the fashion community and industry FINALLY has started waking up to the wastefulness in the fashion world. Brilliant… just fucking brilliant piece on an amazing and world changing designer. That NEEDS to on the radar. Bravo!!

Great video! It is always a joy to see a fellow creative that worked so hard for their dreams achieve it.
It is not about the money, nor the fame. More so about being able to reach a bigger audience and be able to share your vision with more people. Marine Serre is an inspiration.
Also, as a small info - the Balenciaga Speed Trainers were made under the creative direction of Alexander Wang and not Demna. It got really popular under Demna, but wasn’t created by him.

Not a fan of the crescent 🌙

I never liked this logo. I had seen it around, but I didn't understand why people were wearing it. I love the moon, but not in the context of Islamic terrorism. The inspiration makes me feel queasy. I see her talent though and liked some of her pieces. But overall it is too Sci fi meets apocalypse meets end-times-vision.

I'm Agreed with you. That logo at least doesn't represent the full cycle of the moon. Don't forget that the moon cycle or phases represent more female than male but it affect everyone. That little tiny crescent moon only represent obsession of madness for some.

You love the moon but not in the context of Islamic terrorism? The crescent moon in Islam symbolises the guidance of God/the Creator in the path through life. I can assure you there is no terrorism notion through our use of this motif.

@@Aleeya_Haq I never said the moon in islam was inherently a symbol of terror but the designer named terrorism as an inspiration

@@marenhumblebee2736the effect and affect of terrorism is the inspiration. The effect of the people, the government, the area, the environment…
I’ll bet you wear a cross necklace as jewelry tho….
The symbol of a religion that has been the reason for more wars, murders and deaths than any other religious symbol in the world… just sayin.
