16 oz. (454 g) mung bean sprout
2 stalks of scallion
1/2 cup carrots - Matchsticks cut - optional
2 to 3 cloves chopped garlic
1 tbsp vegetarian oyster sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
Salt and pepper to taste
2 to 3 oz of bacon or pancetta
2 tbsp vegetable oil

I love bean sprouts, or anything sprouted, for that matter: broccoli sprouts, radish, alfalfa - love it all, raw in salads. My bean sprouts always go soggy when I cook them, though.

I often seen bean sprouts being boiled or steamed and ended up overcooked. What about you? Have you tried stir-frying them before?

@@FineArtofCooking nope I've never tried to stir fry them before, that's why I like your chanel, you have different type of recipes and explain well how to make things.
Something that I mentioned before, I do like dishes that are cheap, using few ingredients and easy to make. They relate to real life.. I like seeing lobster recipes.. But let's be honest, it's not something I eat everyday! So what about a "Chinese egg drop soup" for a video?

I love both of these simple, healthy and delicious recipes. The best part of this is that they maintain their crunch and are low in calories. Presentation looks great with the orange from the carrots and green from the scallions. My pick would be #2 because bacon makes everything better. Yummy, just hand me a bowl of rice already 🤤🤤. I've been sprouting my own mung bean sprouts at home and that works okay but i've also tried (The honky thing) and used broccoli seed to sprout the same way but that seems like it always molds really quick & long before they're ready to eat. Any idea why?

I have a bag of beans I just sprouted, so I plan on making this... minus the bacon. I LOVE animals, but not on my plate! I'll add tofu, tempeh, or seitan instead and serve it atop of rice or rice noodles to make it a main dish.
