BMW E93 Finally Gets New Seats - ACTVE HEADREST DELETE

I finally managed to swap out the horrid, worn and dirty SE seats for some M Sport seats in really good condition.
As the new seats didn't have the active headrests (normally found on LCI versions of E90, E91, E92 and E93), they also needed to be deleted. You can either code them out with software or use a 2.7 ohm, 0.25w restistor to do this.

How did u de attach the wire you put the resistors on please make a video on that!!!???????

The resistors come with 2 prongs that just plug into the plug.

if my car doesn’t have the active headrest seats and i want to put in seats that have active headrests, is that possible?

You can, but the headrests will only adjust up and down. You shouldn’t get any errors.

You’ll have to wait and see. It’s less of a project in the sense it doesn’t really need any work, but it’s essentially a very high mileage one owner car that I’ll use for a while.
