Number 5 and Number 3 does it for me. I absolutely favour the sound of simply deleting the resonators... but then the Vibrant exhaust mod has that same sound with the raspy sound effect being much more subtle and the roar being a little reverberated.
I did this same setup on my 2023 Durango RT with the 1791 Vibrants and X-Pipe after watching this video. But I went with the 5 inch Blue Tipped Weldons and having them sticking out back. It is Bad Ass looking and Sounds Awesome! Thank You for what you do 😁
@@daviddup1978 I do not have a TNG either. It is a RT Blacktop so I am pretty sure mine is 2.25". I cut out the suitcase and both resonators as well. So, I have duel Vibrants feeding into the X-Pipe followed by big 5" blue tipped Weldons. But I see a lot of people doing the 4 or 5" black tips. I like the chrome and blue because they standout a little more than just black. If I had done black, I would have done a gloss black.
My liking is the large case vibrant xpipe combo. Not too raspy, volume is there, but not stupid. $ for $, delete the mid muffler suitcase, xpipe it and be done with it.
My 07 durango 5.7 hemi, from cats back duals with thrush glasspacks, jba headers, ran drivers side out passenger side in rear to make equal length pipes, 3.5 ×18 inch chrome tips, sounds awesome, especially when shifting at 3 to 6 grand, it kinda bellers at shift.
The black widow definitely went off the chart what the hell 🔥🔥!!!! That’s awesome I liked both the flow master and the black widow I can’t decide which ones to go with for my new Durango
@@JVeleta11tf you talking about? 🧠💀??? the 5.7 is deeper and more muscle car sounding than a 6.4 or 6.2. they’re raspy ass like the pos v6 with an extra two cylinders in the mustangs
This shows that the 5.7L doesn't need much to sound good on the Durango. Just delete the resonators and add a decent set of mufflers. Even a basic resonator delete sounds good if you add large tips to act as a megaphone. My favorite are the Outlaws with the Neighbor Haters following a close second but they all sound good.
@@JVeleta11 We are talking about the exhaust note. Not how much power it makes. The bigger hemis lacks the deep tone that the 5.7 does. That is a fact. I prefer a deeper tone over a raspy one. Like I said this is not about power. This is about exhaust sound.
I'm stuck between the LCGP and Dynomax from your other video. I'm curious to hear the Dynomax without the x pipe. I own three Durango's 2003 5.9L V8 2020 GT Plus 2024 SRT I'm debating on LCGP or Dynomax for all three Durango's.
Next time you’re doing a full straight pipe I’d love to hear one side with a resonator delete and one side with rear muffler delete. I feel like the rear muffler delete adds sound while the mid resonator delete adds rasp. Obviously wouldn’t expect the job to stay that way but I wonder what the sound would be .
I have a 2011 citadel 5.7 hemi, do you guys have any videos of Durangos where they kept the suitcase and just upgraded the resonators... Thanx in advance!!
i have a 21 durango rt. i did an h-pipe in place of the suitcase muffler and a set of carven r mufflers welded to 4in tips out back. love the sound, nice and deep.
@@malnadgowda_inusa3734huh? Doesn’t matter if it’s 2020 or 2013 it’s 5.7 hemi Durango 😂😂, only thing different from 2020 it’s rear headlights & more mods you can assemble other then that same looking suv lol
So, I went with the LCGP mufflers and I did exactly what they did to that durango and I can say dang, it sounds mean and loud. However there is a small problem that inran into that you will not see in this video is when the vehicle is at complete idle the exhaust sounds like there is a trash bag being blown around. Trust me, I dont like the way that sounds but when its going down the road it sounds perfect! I believe since i deleted the resonators it caused this issue.
Great Vid. I'm about to buy a Tow and Go Durango 5.7 and this was helpful. If anyone can recommend a shop near northern NJ that does this type of work I'd appreciate a reply thx
Great video. What do you think would be the best set up to get a nice deep rumble for a 2021 Durango GT. Out of the 5 shown I like 5,4 and 1. I really dig then blue tips.
I don’t know what to get done to my Durango R/T tow n go. It’s preowned and the guy who had it before left the suitcase muffler in the middle and took everything else off… and replaced it with some crappy mufflers and whatnot… so basically I bought this vehicle without the High Performance Exhaust it comes with 😢 so now idk if I should get the full Borla S Type Catback setup or the setup on this video with the flowmaster outlaws and the 5 inch tips… they both sound great! 🔥 I just don’t want any drone. I’m looking for more of a throaty deep sound. I don’t want anything with cracks and pops and I don’t want anything that sounds like a hollow tin can. Which one would you recommend between the 2 setups?
#4 there is a weld attachment to the LCGP’ S THAT CONNECT TO THE 2 1/4 pipe to make the pipe longer, is there another pipe you would recommend for the LCGP’s ?
I did the mid muffler and reso delete and added the lgcp resonators on my 16 Durango RT. Its too loud and I feel like I lost low end torque. Id like to put the mid muffler back on but I can't find a mid one. Would you be willing to sell and ship a mid muffler to NC?
I have a 2022 dodge Durango n I ran mine straight pipe sound like a beast n the popping sound awwww man what a fking beauty it is can wait to smack some rims on it

Them LCGP"S SOUNDS like Thunder... Awesome ❤👌
Vibrant is the cleanest, most refined by far. And plenty loud and deep for my liking.
How much is that usually cost? Just got Durango 2018 Hemi
That vibrant setup was the best I think. Love that sound. Might have to go with that setup on my wife’s 18’ Durango!
Number 5 and Number 3 does it for me. I absolutely favour the sound of simply deleting the resonators... but then the Vibrant exhaust mod has that same sound with the raspy sound effect being much more subtle and the roar being a little reverberated.
These all sound phenomenal, but personally I think the SRT exhaust that's on the Tow'n go sounds the best.
#4 LCGP for me baby! Love it 😍
Not gonna lie that black widow exhaust definitely sounded the best on the Durango personally
To me stock exhaust with resonators deleted sound's the best and cost less so its a win win combination
Naw, remove muffler and leave resonators.
That's what I did with my 5.7 Grand Cherokee. Though I did put the vibrant style resonators on in front of the tips. It sounds really good
@@jeffmcdougall6835 those tips on the resonator are trash
If i owned a durango r/t, i'll defentily stick with flowmaster outlaw on the durango r/t because it sounds absolutley epic 💪

@wildCPA does it drone?
@@daviddup1978 No not at all. In fact it’s quiet until you get on it, but it’s not obnoxiously loud either. I think it sounds like it should!
Thank you. I just ordered the 1791s but I'm going to do a Hpipe and have them run 2.5" pipe from front to back. Mines is 2.25" since it's not a TNG

One thing you should do on the channel is let the exhaust idle more so we can hear it naturally without the gas
You need to set up a package come down get your exhaust on Stanley motel maybe visit a racetrack nearby we can drive down there from up North
About how much does the lcgp or black widow setup cost out the door ?
