    Well my friend I have concluded my detailed and extensive test drives of a variety of EVs over the last month or two and the ID7 Tourer has emerged as the clear winner for my family requirements and the shear luxury, comfort and safety. All I need to do now is keep an eye out for any price breaks here in the UK in the run up to Christmas although not that lucky!
    I am also holidaying in your beautiful country next year, the first time I have been to Germany since I was a student although my own Hank will not be making the journey.

      I saw mine today but gonna receive it in a week. Stonewashed blue pro S. Gotta say stonewashed blue doesn't look like in any pictures/videos IRL

      @@oskarjonsson82 I like it but it's not what I expected. It's more gray, very vaguely blue, like my cat which is Russian Blue reace, it only looks a bit blue because I know it's called Russian Blue, but if nobody told me I'd say it's gray :D. I hope it makes sense.
      It shoud be called Russian Blue instead of Stonewashed Blue but I guess this is not the appropriate decade

    Which obd you recomended for ABRP?

    Why use ABRP over the native VW navigation? What are the advantages?

    • @andersjuul7038
      @andersjuul7038 3 месяца назад

      I have been going on 2 fairly long trips the last two weeks. Denmark Germany +2K km and Denmark Sweden +700 km. I only once had issues with build in Navi on the ID4 4 motion Style. That gave a little stress. I just drive and when getting close the the chosen charger by ID4 I look in Tesla app if any are close. If so I go for those instead. One can select a different charger close to the one chooses by ID4. So in reality I will say it works very well with build in in my 2024 ID4 4 motion 2024 model

      @@andersjuul7038i 100% agree. Also guess preheating will not start with ABRP while it would with the native. When I do long trips from SE to DK and DE normally I try to charge below 10% and I go again around 50-55% since the charging speed slows down significantly. Id4 gtx 2023.

      @@Hixxboll i agree. with the 10 to 50 - 55% at one point parking at an Ionity charger beside a Ioniq 5 it was clear that the Ioniq performs better on taking a higher kW at a higher charge level. but it is not that bad on my ID4 4motion that have same electrical set up as the GTX. I think mine is just somehow limited in power output, because as I can see all the components on the 4 motion are the same as the GTX drive train 2024 model. But in Denmark the deal on all the accessories coming for free in the Style version was very attractive... However the price on ID. 4 GTX Max right now in Denmark is very close to what i paid plus 2000 € or something like that. But happy for the car so far. 16.000 KM since end May.

    How do you get the NAVI from ABRP up on the HUD? I have an id4 from 23.. .. allso.. i really think a big design flaw on ABRP is, that you can not interact with the map on the screen.. if you see a charger on the screen you can not touch the screen and navigate to it, or see info about it…

    @BatteryLife - How accurate is ABRPs prediction of SoC at arrival at each charging stop? I drive an Enyaq on ME3.2 and it's usually a little optimitistic in range calculations...

    How much did the electricity cost for this trip? Does BRP read the actual consumption or how does this work?

    • @deFruitberg

      ABRP gives way more control over your charging: you can indicate which fastchargers you prefer (eg I prefer Fastned, I don't want Ionity) and you can also define the charging strategy : how much SOC left at arrival, do you prefer lots of short stops or less longer stops (which will be a bit slower). You can also indicate in ABRP at what speed you will be driving,...

    I wanted to order this one, but unfortunately, orders weren’t available at the time, despite all the advertising. So, I ended up ordering an i5 instead.
