    I received mine last friday, ID.7 pro S. I was not blown away with the consumption but I believe since it's so large it consumes way more to heat up. The heat starts automatically when you unlock the car so by the time I put the baby in and all other thing, when I start rolling it's already at 50kwh/100km and it takes a while to go down. I imagine in mild weather it will be much better.
    The other thing is it's really laarge, I always underestimate how large it is when parking, but on the up side, even the non-touring version has loaaads of space in the boot and otherwise. I managed to put in the trunk the baby stroller, baby chair, 4 backpacks, some bags and a few more clutter without lowering the floor or taking off the boot cover. This is incredible compared with my Kona where the stroller was taking the whole boot by itself :))). The underfloor storage is amazing, you can keep a whole lot of crap there that you rarely use.
    I really hate VWs choices of button interactions. Even the functions which are not on the screen are touch buttons and I always have to look at what I am pressing, even on the steering wheel which defeats the purpose of putting them on the steering wheel. I hope I will get used to it in time and have to look less.
    The driver seat is really high up, really not much lower than my kona, but the windshield is lower, so the center mirror is blocking part of the view in front. It's a bit annoying but it's not so bad that it's dangerous, it's just always in my eyesight and I notice it and get distracted.
    Overall I am happy with it, the biggest thing for me is the room which I needed. I leave the AC and seats on auto and the car really knows how to keep me comfy without me doing much. If I start sweating, it starts the heat + ventilation, if my ass is hot it only starts the ventilation, if cold, the heating, it heats the steering wheel automatically although I turned that function off because it seems to not know when it's enough and turn it off. It also starts the heated seats automatically for passengers, who otherwise would be reluctant to operate it.
    These are some things I noticed so far in 1 week of ownership

      Here the consumption does not start to count until you switch on the ignition. That is why I got away with "136 wh/km" today 😇

    Regarding the temperatures in the car: after driving several MEB cars with and without heatpump in the past I got the impression that the heatpump cars did better. Temperatures were more constant and I had no need to dial in to 23C or more.
    Would be interesting if you could check the differences in comfort with/without heatpump too... 😊

    Maybe you should try to make a list of cars and manufacturers, with updates in the same time period as you have had your id.7.
    It would be interesting to se how many does that. And not always "uhh ohhh, tesla has a lot of updates all the time". :)
    Then we can see if its VW that is far behind or what it is.

    I purchased a new ID.7 on 11/15/2024 in France. On the order form, it is clearly specified that the vehicle is equipped with the Assistance Pack, including in particular the Intelligent Park Assist Pro option with memory function and remote function (remote control). However, I noticed that the remote function is not available on the vehicle. It is necessary to have version 5.4 of the software.
    It is surprising, problematic, misleading, that a new vehicle delivered a few days ago is not up to date in terms of software configuration, especially if a more recent version is necessary to offer all the features promised on the order form.

    I always enjoy looking at your reviews. I have seen all the ones from the Id7.😄 I am unsure about my new car between the Id7 tourer and the BMW I5 touring.
    I hear you say that only BMW's I7 drives better than the Volkswagen. does this mean that you enjoyed driving the I5 less than your own Hank? Some time ago you tested the BMW I5 😊 The BMW I5 is a lot more expensive, wouldn't you expect it to perform better?

    Do you have an idea of what car you are getting next year when your lease is up?

  • @Arthur_C
    @Arthur_C 4 дня назад

    My ID.4 has quite some issues (software bugs in ACC but also squeeking roof, charging issues, etc, etc) but it drives amazing and I would buy it again despite the stupid electronic buttons, weird layout of steering wheel buttons (volume up and down is with buttons left to right,... Next or previous radio channel is with buttons DOWN and up...) or the id.7 if I can afford it. That is the reason why VW focus' is on driving and not in software, I think... Question: as the software an app is bad since the beginning, why is vw not improving on this?

  • @danielecampoli1885

    Being very disappointed with Musk's Trumpism I intend to return my Tesla YLR as soon as the leasing will be over. Therefore I would like to find a reliable European EV. The ID.7 Tourer or the Skoda would be interesting cars. Also the new Renault Scenic. Since I didn't watch the other 75 videos on this car you produced could you say what is the consumption? With my Tesla at the moment I have an average of 16.5/100km. When I travel on the highway I have an average of 18.5/100km (120/130km/h).

    • @Vercixx
      @Vercixx 4 дня назад

      in the 130kmh test he talked about where he got a range of 430km in *ideal conditions* the consumption was 17.4 Wh/100km. If I remember correctly he also has videos where he drives an ID.7 and Tesla M3 in convoy, so same conditions for a good comparison and if I remember correctly the ID.7 was a bit better, at least in the summer.

  • @JOSEUGS

    Same here, no SW updates is a no-brainer. We know VW don't care, because this topic is all over the net whenever their EVs are discussed. Lacking the ability to lock/unlock via app in 2024 (almost 2025) is sooo bad, my vocab is missing the proper wording. Not to mention "fancy" functionalities such as a daily travels log book... And so much more... but who cares

    • @Vercixx
      @Vercixx 4 дня назад

      I bet this "no SW updates" is hurting their sales - and it's one of the biggest selling points of Tesla - so I doubt VW doesn't care, they are just not skilled enough about it and probably that's why they joined Rivian in a 5.8bln$ deal "to create electric architecture and software for next generation Software Defined Vehicles (SDV)"
