      @@goodshorts is this good for me to believe after we are saved we should be changing but not everyone does like I believe that the Holy Spirit will help us to change but some people sadly ignore that and continue on sinning without trying to stop that doesn’t mean they aren’t saved they could be but I’m just saying but I believe when someone is saved they probably should be changing but they don’t always

      The sacrifice of Christ benefits all truly repentant sinners who have sincere faith and trust in Christ, but this benefit is conferred as God automatically baptizes all true believers in the Holy Spirit, which places them "into" the Body of Christ (1Cor.12:13) and that "Body" is the Church (Eph.1:22,23), with the result that all believers are "IN Christ" (2Cor.5:17). Being "in Christ" is the place of justification (Gal.2:17), redemption and forgiveness of sins (Eph.1:7). What's more, Paul teaches that a person who is in the body of Christ, has died to the requirements and condemnation of the OT law (Rom. 7:4,6) and thus, anyone who is not in the body of Christ remains condemned by the law (Rom.2:12 ; Gal.3:10-11 ; Jas.2:10). There is no other place, than in Christ's body, for those spiritual transactions in the NT. It will only be people "in Christ" (and in his body), who have been crucified with him, who have died and been burried with him, and are made alive with him (read Rom.6:1-10). For anyone to be saved, God places Jews or Gentiles "in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross" (Eph.2:16)... and that one body of reconciliation is the Church (Eph.1:22-23). There will never be any other way to justification, reconciliation to God, redemption, resurrection and eternal life, than by being "IN Christ," which is in his body the Church ...and anything else is another way of salvation (and really, another gospel) than is found in the Bible. It would take some major explaining to tell how a person could be "in Christ" but not in his body (the Church). If the tribulation saints are not in Christ's body, then how are they saved? Consider especially verses like Romans 12:5, which says, "so in Christ we who are many form one body." Paul says explicitly there that being "in" Christ means being in his "body", and he uses those two ideas as being inseparable. Biblical Christianity can never advance any other way of justification and redemption, other than being "IN Christ."
      So, the pre-trib notion of a group of "tribulation saints" who are saved and redeemed during the tribulation, but yet are not part of the body of Christ (the Church), is actually a contradiction in terms, which rests on very shabby theology that undermines the biblical doctrine of salvation. The true situation during the tribulation will be: there will be Spirit-baptized saints who are "washed ...in the blood of the Lamb" (Rev.7:14), so, they are blood-bought and justified saints; they will be born-again Christians "who obey God's commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus" (Rev.12:17), and who "remain faithful to Jesus" (Rev.14:12).
      And very crucial for this discussion: note those saints who "die IN the Lord" during the Great Tribulation (see Rev.14:12-13 with 6:9-11) ...remembering from our previous discussion, that being "in the Lord," or "in Christ," is precisely the NT description of a believer who is part of the Church, the body of Christ!
      Thus, there is no possible way that these tribulation "saints" can not part of the Church. They must be.
      The corporate body of Christ first came into being when believers were first baptized in the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost (Acts 1:5 & 2:1-4). Since then, every true believer is automatically placed into the body of Christ by the Baptism in the Holy Spirit (1Cor.12:13), so that all believers are "in Christ" (and this must since the Acts 2 day of Pentecost include all Old Testament saints, as well as tribulation saints). Redemptive union with Christ, in his body (the Church), has always been God's plan for all believers of all ages. Paul says that Jesus is the Savior of "his body" (Eph.5:23), and it would take some major explaining to show that he is the Savior of anybody else. Anybody who is not part of the body of Christ, therefore, will not be saved. Jew or Gentile, there is no other provision in all of eternity for the salvation of sinners other than by being in the body of Christ. So, unavoidably, since there are saved people on earth during the tribulation, the body of Christ, the Church, must be present on earth at that time.
      Since the "Church" is clearly on earth during the Tribulation, there is no reason to say that the Church is evacuated just before the Tribulation begins.
      Obviously, those who "die in the Lord" during the tribulation will be part of Christ's body, the Church, and they too (like all who are in Christ) will rise at the first resurrection and be raptured (1 Thess.4:16-18). Thus, the rapture must follow the tribulation, during which those tribulation saints "die IN the Lord."

      They have no chance to get saved according to the heresy calling with the mouth is a must to be born again. We know only believe is enough, so we must keep on preaching the simple gospel. God bless !

      just hearing from one side, how about hearing both sides and presenting that both are true and stop interpreting a context of "physical salvation" although its never mentioned leading up from the end of Romans 9 zu Romans 10 and just accepting the bible?
      If you really believe you will call and if you die before you could call you still in heaven, thats what the NIFB believes, just watch the sermon of Jimenez, he does not even believe you need to move your mouth so stop asuming this crap and damning people into hell who actually brought forth true fruits

    That last clip in this video brought to mind how I was before I matured in Gods Word. If a believer has doubts they need to spend more time in the Word and I promise all doubts will go away. Our promise of salvation is rock solid and repeated throughout Pauls epistles! God bless you brothers and sisters.

      Why did Cain hate his brother? What was righteous about Abel’s works?

      Abel brought the animal sacrifice which represents the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

      You will find when you believe on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ as the payment for your sins you will hated by the self righteous.
      The cross offends the self righteous because it reminds them that their hard work will never be good enough to save them from hell.
      It’s only the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, his blood that can save a man!

      When we believe the gospel we automatically love the brethren because we love that they are also saved by the blood of Jesus Christ.

    Pastor Curtis Hutson wisely said: "A good rule to follow when interpreting the Bible is to never use an obscure passage to contradict a clear one." Yes, that is correct! It is terrible that many of these New IFB preachers are basing a strange doctrine on ONE VERSE (Romans 10;13), while totally ignoring the entire Gospel of John. In John we find the word "believe" mentioned 85 times without any mention of "praying." You don't have to pray to be saved. John 6;28-29, "Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent." You just read it: BELIEVE ON HIM!!! Great job preaching the truth Norm. God bless you!

      Exactly, been saved years but also lived in anxiety and depression for decadecades until I finally believed in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life, i had it backwards thinking I could lose salvation.

      You can believe until your face turns blue, without obedience to Christ and his teachings and commandments you will not go to heaven. Hebrews 5:9, sins that lead christians to hell: Galatians 5:19-21 & rev 21:8

      @@EmileKleinhans Only those who keep the commandments and repent of sins go to heaven. You can call that works, good, read the letters to churches in revelation. If your WORKS arent found to keep Jesus expectations, he takes your lampstand away.
      Christians who do these sins will not inherit the kingdom of God, straight from Pauls mouth: Galatians 5:19-21
      Christian liars will have their part in the lake of fire Revelation 21:8 & Revelation 22:15
      Christians who keep the commandments are those who get to enter into the Kingdom and partake in the tree of life Revelation 22:14
      Jesus is the author of salvation to those who OBEY HIM Hebrews 5:9
      Jesus cuts people of from him and they wither and collected to be burned John 15:6
      Jesus said MAKE EVERY EFFORT (work!) to enter through the narrow gate.
      Jesus spews lukewarm believers out in Rev 3:16, Jesus cuts sinning lazy christians in half and throws them into hell Luke 12:45-47.
      Why can you not see the true doctrine, aka Fear God, keep his commandments and stop sinning?
      Because you are given over to a strong delusion because you dont love the harsh truth which requires you to give up your life to follow Jesus diligently and obey him, and prefer ear tickling lies: 2 thess 2:11& 2 tim 4:3-4
      Also the MOTB is already here, its the "V" and the nosey poke. I cant write it here plainly because it gets removed.

    Love your videos brother. I’ve been saved since I was 9, and throughout the years I strayed and then when God drew me back closer to him I got caught up in a lot of doubt because of Lordship preachers but I’ve rediscovered a love for sharing the true gospel of grace through faith alone. It makes me question when I was saved, but when I was 9 I remember a preacher asking me if I wanted to accept the Lord Jesus to go to heaven, I felt the Holy Spirit bringing me to repentance and place my faith and accept Jesus, so I did, and I was baptized. But years after you would not think I was by looking at my fruit. Even now the enemy makes me want to doubt my salvation because I’m now “rediscovering” how simple the gospel is, and if I’m rediscovering that, then I just have never known the true gospel right? It’s a scary thought thinking that you’ve been deceived into believing you’ve been saved for so many years. But no, when I look back I know God was always with me, I felt the conviction of the Holy Spirit but ignored and grieved him until God brought me on my knees with chastisement. Jesus tells us to have the faith of children, you don’t have to understand everything, so then I understood if you want to get to heaven, understand that Jesus died for your sins, was buried, and resurrected. But now I understand a lot of the deeper doctrine of blood atonement, etc. I wasn’t any less saved at 9 than I am now, if anything that’s proof of the Holy Spirit working in me and leading me into all truth. These pastors muddy the waters so much, they’re almost as bad as straight up Lordshippers

      That's a good point actually now i understand more of what child like faith Is now. Is knowing the basic level the gospel. The deeper stuff can come later when your older and can understand better. Just because you have a deeper understanding of the gospel later on in life does not make you any less saved

    Yeah, I fell into the trap of praying a sinner's prayer as a means to make sure I am saved. And it's probably because I was scared into it enough by those who say that just believing in Christ isn't enough. But then I realized later that just making a conscious decision to except Salvation as a free gift for believing in Him and what he did and accomplished is what was enough to save me, putting my faith in the one who justifies the ungodly while having little to no works, according to Romans 4:4-5.

      OSAS is a false doctrine. Christians who practice the sins listed in Galatians 5:19-21 & Revelation 21:8 will go to hell. Christians must keep the commandments and work out their salvation with fear and trembling.
      True christians have testimonies of when they were born again, which is a spiritual experience beyond any denial.

    Wow I had learned of the gospel from the NIFB and I followed them for awhile but after I found they taught this I immediately knew they where going absolutely bonkers. And I remember hearing Anderson say he would pray again and since I’ve been saved I have not felt the need to ask for salvation again because I believe Jesus’ promise and I already know he won’t lie. Before I knew how to be saved I would pray for God to save me again and again. Very weird.

Every one that understands and believes the gospel and eternal security I met realized they just had to trust God, and didn’t have to plead anymore. They have entered Jesus Christ’s rest.

    Romans 10:9-15 seems to say that believing in Jesus AND confessing Him are required in order to be saved. This seems to contradict the many passages in the Bible that say that salvation is by grace through faith in Christ. Is confessing Christ (verses 9 and 10) required in order to receive eternal life?
    Calling on the name of the Lord (verse 13)? Both?
    No. The Bible says repeatedly that whoever believes in Jesus Christ as Savior has eternal life.
    The confusion comes from the errant assumption that the word “saved” in the Bible always refers to receiving eternal life. There are many places in the Bible (such as Romans 10:9-15, Matthew 10:22 and James 5:20) in which the word “saved” has nothing to do with receiving eternal life.
    Why would God park additional requirements for receiving eternal life in the middle of Romans, and fail to mention them anywhere else in scripture?
    We know that confessing Christ is not required in order to receive eternal life from John 12:42-43...
    "Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God."
    Here, we can see that these men believed on Him (Jesus Christ), which always results in eternal life. But, they did not confess Him.
    In Romans 10:10, we see that someone believes unto righteousness. That means he is declared not guilty of his sins. He has eternal life from that moment on. He is not required to confess Christ in order to receive eternal life again. So, the words “saved” and “salvation” in this passage clearly cannot have to do with receiving eternal life.
    Once someone has received eternal life, by grace, through faith in Christ alone, he may confess Christ and pray to God for deliverance from trials, temptations, physical danger, etc. But, neither confessing Christ nor calling on the name of the Lord is required to receive eternal life.
    We see this same concept in Romans 10:13-15, in which the Apostle Paul speaks of this process, rhetorically, in reverse order.
    Here is the chronological order:
    1. A preacher is sent - verse 15 (except they be sent)
    2. He preaches - verse 15 (how shall they preach)
    3. The unbeliever hears - verse14 (how shall they hear)
    4. The hearer believes, and is therein justified - verse 14 (how shall they believe)
    5, The believer calls on the name of the Lord - verse 14 (how then shall they call on him)
    One does not receive eternal life through faith in Christ and any additional conditions, such as confessing Christ or calling on the name of the Lord. One receives eternal life by grace through faith in Christ alone.

    I have been saved the moment I believed the gospel while listening to a sermon on the 25th of February 2022. The pastor then led the people into a prayer which I also repeated but I was thinking the whole time during the prayer "what I am I doing, this is useless, my prayer doesn't change anything about me being saved or not. Jesus died for me and me uttering a few words don't contribute anything at all to the work of Jesus on the cross".
    Now the "confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus" is for me just a confession that you make that Jesus Christ is Lord and every believer will sooner or later say " Lord Jesus..." So if you believe then you're saved, period. We humans just like to pick on these little details and make everything too complicated. God is so much greater than we are but very simple in his ways to commune with us maybe too simple....

    This guy sounds like he’s just standing up there doing his best impersonation of the most blatantly PROUD pastor you will find anywhere: Steven Anderson.
    He (Anderson) is so completely puffed up and blinded with pride in his church (the church he started and built) that he is gone to an island of his own arrogance and refuses to hear any instruction and vehemently goes on the attack against any perceived challenge or instruction.
    His church’s love has grown cold, if it ever had any.

    These guys are just defending their unbiblical method of soul-winning. Instead of repenting, they're just digging in their heels.

      directly asked God to save him and in verse Luke 18:14 God answers his prayer by saving him.
      So according to your theory there is something wrong with the publican praying to God for

      You need to watch the video again, the video author is making fun of people who ask Jesus
      to save them. Obviously this is false according to Luke 18:13-14. Just because the Publican
      asks Jesus to save him does not make it a requirement or mean that there is anything wrong with it. Consult the full council of the Bibles' salvation verses to understand salvation requirements.

      Yes 👍, it's in the book of John where we clearly see that God distinguishes only between believers and non believers 3:18 and 3:36.
      Now, with the Rom.10 heresy, is it confessors or non confessors, callers or non callers? Maybe it's heart or non heart. It could be believe on the Lord Jesus Christ except Rom.10 somehow makes some evangelists want to say Believe on Jesus as your Lord and Savior. 🤔

    'Calling to be saved' is just another 'sinner's prayer' heresy. You receive salvation/eternal life by simply believing the gospel. Think about it. How then is a mute person supposed to get saved since they can't speak? I guess Heaven is off the table for them. Wake up people. Anderson has it wrong.

He doesn't need to get downright ugly about it. I would agree with Anderson's rant if he can show me in scripture where it says 'you MUST pray to be saved'. If anyone can show me where God says that,..then I guess it's true that simply believing on the Lord Jesus Christ is not enough. It would mean that there's something missing from Acts 16:31 and the more than one hundred times the gospel and epistles of John tell us that believing IS enough. I don't mean to sound too critical, but it seems Steven and his followers want to "correct" what the Bible says.

    Amen. Paul by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit wrote ROM. 10: 9-13. However, Paul in Acts 16:30,31 when asked by the jailer, what must I do to be saved, replied Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved and thy house. Then in verse 34 we read that the jailer rejoiced " believing" in God with all his house. It seems evident to me that believing is the determining factor because it is the only factor.

      You're right, there are so many places that talk about believing on Christ to be saved that don't mention anything about asking or calling. Yet I donno, reading Romans 10 and all the context there, I'm not seeing anything indicating a physical or temporal salvation there, I just don't see it. This salvation to me clearly looks in context to be about *eternal* salvation, doesn't it? Right from the first verse of the chapter? Wishing that Israel be *saved* yet Israel goes about to establish their own righteousness by the law? Isn't this about eternal salvation? Confession and calling out associated with salvation in this passage? Is confessing/asking necessary? or an optional/possible thing that just accompanies believing for salvation for some people? What *is* he saying in Romans 10? I don't know, I'm still not totally clear on this issue and I'd like to clear it up in my own mind. Any thoughts?

    Amen. This one is so much misunderstood and often used as part of the "ABC" of salvation. If this was a condition for salvation, then you would have more than one witness for that in scripture. But Romans 10 is the only place where you even find confession connected to salvation. It's mentioned nowhere else. Confession is a work, a physical act, therefore not necessary for salvation.

      John 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the *gift* of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have *asked* of him, and he would have *given* thee living water.
      And in Luke 18:11 "The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
      12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
      13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
      14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted."
      The publican who asks/requests/says "God be merciful to me a sinner" is the one who went home justified.
      In any case, I don't believe that if you asked God in faith to save you and give you eternal life, that he would deny it to you (or see you as a works salvationist) because you asked for it.
      I donno, I'm just not quite clear on this or how to exactly parse it, you know what I mean?

    It never made sense to me how vibrating your vocal chords in a certain way would be the final step in being saved.
    I'm of the position that 'asking the lord to save you' is synonymous with believing the Gospel, and can happen 100% in the heart.
    With the mouth confession is made unto salvation from the coming judgement in the Day of the Lord found in Joel and Acts (thank you for showing those).

      Believing means obeying in John 3:36. Hebrews 5:9 also shows that Jesus is the author of salvation to those who OBEY HIM.
      And entire James 2 is telling you to keep the commandments. Its a pro-keep commandment chapter, but the apostate church has inverted it's meaning into lawlessness. James is telling you to keep the entire law. A human explanation of this verse is like:
      "You are law abiding citizen who do not murder, commit adultury, or break traffic law, good, but if you then straight up rob a bank, you are a criminal, not a law abiding citizen".
      The commandments were not impossible to keep in the Old testament, (PROOF: Deuteronomy 30:11-14)

    I have to admit, I am somewhat unclear on this issue. I do not believe that anyone who has simply believed on Christ alone to save them is not eternally saved.
    I do not believe that if you were given the gospel and then verbally called out to God in faith to save you, that he would not save you because you called out for it.
    I do not believe that if you asked in faith for God to save you that such a thing would be an attempt to be saved by works. (see the justified publican in Luke 18 as well as John 4:10 - Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the *gift* of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have *asked* of him, and he would have *given* thee living water).
    I know we traditionally do like to say "faith alone" a lot in theological talk, but to be totally precise, I'm not aware of anywhere that actually states that salvation is "by faith alone" - one could say we are *also* saved by His grace, his mercy, his blood, etc. - but it does very clearly say it is by faith without ANY works we have done, and not by ANY of our works. I don't see that asking or calling would be works (see above).
    I do know that the Bible constantly talks about being saved by faith where it makes no mention of calling out or asking ("whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life", "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved", etc etc.)
    Yet also passages like Romans 10 really *do* sound like they indicate *something* to do with calling or speaking associated with eternal-life-God's-righteousness salvation. In context it really does not sound to me like merely a physical or temporal salvation here, does it? The "that they might be saved" referring to Israel even in the first verse is clearly about eternal life, isn't it?
    1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
    2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
    3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
    4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
    5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
    6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
    7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
    8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
    9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

    As far as calling out for deliverence, I can imagine that people would call on God or ask him to save and deliver them from some physical harm AND/OR from eternal death and hell, right?
    Is calling out or asking required for eternal salvation? Or is it optional? Or is it excluded for salvation? Would we say that calling out to be saved is a common but not a necessary or universal event for all who get saved? Could or should we say that calling out to God verbally in faith is A WAY to receive eternal life? Or something that can accompany faith when one gets saved?
    In a way it seems nit-picky, I believe if someone believes on Christ alone for it, they're saved, full stop. But in another way it seems like an important distinction and I think we should be very clear and precise when talking about the gospel.
    I don't know. I don't know if I'm communicating my question clearly, hopefully you can understand what I'm getting at. I'm just still a little confused on the particulars of this but I'd REALLY like to clean this up in my mind. Am I missing something? Can you help me clear this up? Thanks!

      Amen - well presented thoughts there - great verses shown too. John 4:10 and the whole context of Romans 10 too.
      I think it's simply that you can't put God in a box. Whether you ask or not, if you're saved, you're saved. God looks upon the heart (Rom 10:10; Psalm 34:18; Psalm 51:17; Psalm 34:6). I was broken and lost and knew it, a sinner for sure, i believed what He did for me, and told Him that, and asked Him to save me and He did. I know someone else who didn't say a word, just driving in his car thinking about the Lord Jesus Christ, and the gospel - and got saved.
      What do you do with that? I think best not to overthink it or get into endless debates.

    You do realize that Romans 10 is quoting Deuteronomy 30, right?
    This means that Romans 10 should be read in the context of Deuteronomy 30, with the light of what Christ taught regarding the Law and Prophets (which He and all of the Apostles taught from when preaching the gospel because they point to Christ). This also means that we should heed God's word in passages such as Ezekiel 18 & 33, concerning who "shall surely live" and who "shall surely die", and what will and will not be mentioned on the day of judgement based on our position in the faith serving in obedience unto righteousness as God's love is perfected in our heart, or without serving sin unto death in unbelief (having turned away from God).
    Paul says in 1 Corinthians 10 that all the things that are written about Israel are examples for us, because God was using physical means in the Old Covenant to teach us about the New Covenant.
    1 Corinthians 10:1-12
    "👉Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant,
    how that all our fathers were under the cloud,
    and all passed through the sea;
    And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

    Hey brother I was reading Mark 16:15-16 15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
    I always thought this verse was talking about water baptism, in the context of if a person believes (saved) and is baptized they will be saved. But I realized there is no mention of water in the entire chapter. Jesus said in verse 15 to "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."
    Ephesians 1:13 teaches that when a person trusts in Christ after they hear the gospel of their salvation they are sealed with the holy Spirit of promise, now I am starting to think that the baptism Jesus mentions in Mark 16 is talking about the baptism of the holy Spirit. Do you have any thoughts on this?
    Now when I read it, it sounds like Jesus is saying go preach the gospel, he that believes (the gospel) and is baptized (sealed with the holy Spirit) is saved. He that believes not is damned.

    According to Jesus in John 12, those who believed on him but DID NOT confess him were saved. Moreover, it dumbfounds me how they totally abandon the definition of "confess" and make it mean "ask"? When in your life have you ever heard someone use the word confess to mean ask? It always means to admit to something. Additionally, 1 Cor 12:3 says "no man can say Jesus is the Lord but by the Holy Ghost". Only saved people call upon the Lord.

    That last thing happened to me, they put Calvinist ideas in me and I ended up asking God about 15 times to be sure and all because I didn't understand Romans 10 and clearly with the Gospel, then I found out that Paul, in addition to referring to the Day of the wrath of the Old Testament and he speaks to Israel, he also speaks in a way to make them understand that they cannot be saved if they do not believe in Jesus Christ first and discovered that he is the one who said he was the Son of the most high God, God in the flesh and that they admit that the Father raised him from the dead because he cannot die, and that they will never be able to invoke him if they do not believe in him before, his Law will condemn them because they follow their own Justice, not God's and only a remnant will be saved, God is very clear you need to be born Again to see the Kingdom of God and if you believe in Jesus Christ you will be saved, everything else

    Why would somebody who is repentant not pray to God for forgiveness? David prayed for forgiveness when he repented. This honestly feels like a divisive argument over semantics. It's like you're looking for controversy where there isn't one.

    Confessing and asking are two totally different things. Confession is a result of something that has already been agreed upon, asking is done in order to obtain something that has not yet been obtained. I believe this is why people in Bible preaching churches end up having to confess they need to be saved after having been a Sunday school teacher for the past 20 years.

    Romans 10 begins with Paul's heartfelt confession that he prays for Israel to be saved. He is eager for each of his Jewish brothers and sisters to believe in Christ. The prior passage concluded with Paul's declaration that his people, Israel, had tried to become righteous before God in the wrong way: by relying on their attempts to keep the law. They had refused to come to God by faith in Christ. Paul quoted Isaiah to show that Christ was the "stumbling stone" for Israel, but that all who believe in Him will not be put to shame.
    Romans 10 was written to Israel not to us, the gentiles.

    Not here to start an argument, but I genuinely want to know how you would respond to Acts 22:16? According to that verse Paul was not actually saved while on the road to Damascus because his sins were washed away the moment he called upon the name of the Lord for salvation which to me undoubtedly proves that it is a requirement for salvation.

    Another thing to keep in mind too is that Paul in Romans 9, 10, and 11 is talking about Israel. And Israel needs to believe in the heart, and then call on the Name of the Lord to be saved from destruction. (Destruction came in 70 AD, but there is yet a future sense too, as Romans 11 points out.) Jesus had said "you shall not see me again until you say, blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord." He said this as a judgement against Israel's unbelief. So, there is a national Israel sense to Romans 10 that can be understood as well. In a general sense, this scripture is showing that the one who has been made righteous by believing (saved from the penalty of sin) can call on the name of the Lord for deliverance (salvation) from the power of sin in the daily life.

    One thing to consider is that I believe that some of these verses point to believers just now (under grace) and some to people that come to faith during the Tribulation period.

    I came to the conclusion some time after your controversy on this topic (which brought me out of the NIFB) that they were not saved. You were actually one of the men who got me saved in the first place. There is zero difference between this false gospel, and baptismal regeneration: except one gets wet. Martin Luther also preached much about faith alone, and yet did not believe it sufficient.
    There is no new thing under the sun.

      Especially Pastor Anderson said that one is still saved or Jimenez said you do not need to move the mouth even, that shows me that did not really watch everything what the other side presented to why they believe, what they believe, sad to put them in the same box as Martin Luther
      Like Norm said, he believes they are saved because they brought good fruit, no unsaved man can bring forth good fruit, a lot of the new "follwers" of Norm are ex-NIFB and got saved there.
      Thats also a reason why NIFB people are in completely war with Norm but still believe he is saved.

      I think they’re going to continue to ignore him at this point cause if they respond, they’re gonna end up looking more silly than they already do. They may make a comment or two in passing during one of their sermons, but I doubt they’ll dedicate a whole sermon to the subject like they did before. They know if they did that, it would shed too much light on their false doctrine.

    Much like Mark 16:16 makes no mention of unbaptized believers Romans 10:9 makes no mention of believers (who are saved) but don’t call upon Jesus’ name. Adding “calling upon Jesus’ name” (a work) as a requirement for salvation is no different than a Catholic using Mark 16:16 to add baptism (a work) as a requirement for salvation.
