Oh what fun!! Thoroughly enjoyed the video and I was rooting for Team IB...sorry Andy. LOL My fishing partner and I keep score every time. Mark it on a calendar. Tally for the day, month and year! So much fun to have a running competition. Keep up the great videos!! (Note to IB...drink after the competition...not before...LMAO) I have done it before myself....and paid the price.
Beccy, Team IB forever ❤❤❤ hahaha. Andy doesn't need any support, he's already way too good at this than me! Very cool idea about keeping q score board, I might have to create something similar! Although it can get ugly 👀🤣
Scar tissue on the dorsal, so stocked. When in doubt i open the dorsal and if it's stocked there will be scar tissue. The bony fins never heal up completely.
Superb vid guys🎣🎣👍👍 cracking filming method guys👍🇬🇧🎣 very plane n clear to follow as always.. tight lines always .. peace n respect from Glasgow 🇬🇧🇬🇧🎣🎣✌😎
Hi Andy & IB Brilliant well fished to both of you,off to fish the river tees tmorrow . IB try rhubarb Gin & ginger ale yum yum yum, Thanks again for the video good to watch Bye for now.
Most enjoyable video guys , the fish were beautiful. Stay safe guys and your Derbyshire accent iscoming on fine IB 😂😂😂😂. All the best from Downunder Brisbane. 👍❤💋
Guys, a great video and super challenge. IB I felt for you, a gin hangover! I just like the way you pair fish like 99% of us do, sometimes good sometimes embarrassing! Just the tonic for me as I was getting kinda tired of watching "super anglers" catching monster trout. Keep it up!
We like to keep it a bit more real, fishing isn't always catching thy biggest fish in the river, sometimes it's a 3 inch grayling with a thundering hangover!
@@IBandAndyFishing as a youngest I used to get so pi.... Off being told its not all about catch. If it were it would be called "catching" not fishing. I've spent some of the very best of days blanking, and never regretted just being out on the water. I get the impression that you pair are the same. A fish in the net is pretty awesome though!!!!
Nice show. I'm curious if you could do an hour sometime when you fish the same water, or same type of water at least, with the french leader setup and an indicator setup. I haven't really gotten into the euro game yet so I'd really like to know if the use of an indicator is throwing fish off a bit, whether they see it or hear it hit the water. Thanks for the work it takes to put these adventures together!
Thanks John, and that's a great idea, I think you may have inspired us. We spoke after the session about how some spots are better fished with a suspension rig than a euro leader.
That was good. A bit of friendly competition, and you both did really well too. A nice mixed bag of trout and grayling on both styles. Looked like a good 3 hr session to me. And some nice browns in there as well. One day you should try Yorkshire,it has some nice trout and trout/grayling rivers. Another good video from you guys 👍🏻
IB and Andy Fishing hi. No not personally. I fish 90% of the time in my local by me. It’s a nasty urban river bed. Bricks and such (lots of fish though and some nice ones too) just browns. No grayling. Then the other 10% I fish in nice country surroundings Again free. But there are tons of places out here. Rivers everywhere. The one by me if I go up stream about 4 miles it’s nice old village/country but still free. But trout not as large as by me. But you guys could find places even nicer than where I fish I’m positive of it.
Really nice video! Maybe i will try out the french leader technique as i saw in that pool, it's really effective :) Have you ever tried fishing for barbel with it?
Read as a Sportscast: IB honestly you needed the hair of the dog that bit you to help you get right and man you get stressed? I have watched a lot of your videos and you are definitely off your game as I watch this! Maybe a shot of adrenaline from a catch will override the toxins in your body. Andy is just steady. He doesn't get too flustered, he has been in the game for enough years that he can control his emotions and he knows to avoid the "Demon," Rum before he plays the game! Ahhhh the fish God's are riding Andy's shoulder today as he retrieves his net and lands a fish. Obviously the Fish God's have a streak of mysogeny in them! IB has a hand cramp and struggled to show Andy how many fish she has caught! Andy takes the high path at a safe distance as he moves to a better spot. Andy fishes a nice run but IB feels he is using dry flies, will this mistake in her translation of Andy's actions, give him an advantage? Another fish on by the Dirty nympher anAndy pulls ahead of IB! Oh folks are we about to see the upset of the month?? Will Andy be able to sleep without fearing for his life ever again? The stress of the last few seconds has Andy flustered but will he maintain his lead? Oooohhhhh IB is suggesting pulling a Nancy Kerrigan on Andy! The game is getting dirty! Somebody needs to take IB a hip flask, help her get her head on right. Perhaps a shot of Dry Fly Whiskey! Andy is walking up through a meadow, looking a little Sheepish, trying to find a good dry fly lie! The last phonecall has Andy sending some stinging comments as he "Nettles," IB one last time. IB is beginning to get over her debauchery from the previous night and has begun her comeback! Will it be enough?? Has Andy left IB a pool advantage and did he do it purposely, so that he will be able to sleep in safety at home? Enquiring minds want to know. Why did Andy leave his pool? Speculation runs amok through the spectators. IB has decided to relocate! Her antifreeze has begun to wear off! Will it help her gain the lead? She seems to be regaining some of her lost composure! IB gains the lead! It's aiming for a Cinderella finish! Oh what's this! Andy has just netted a dry caught Grayling! He regains a narrow lead! But can he keep it?? Will he ever sleep again? OMG Andy hooks another Grayling!! He lands it! Will it keep him in the game? The speculation is rife! Andy moved but IB is staying with her spot! At the end of the day Andy kept his lead and won the match! The score was close enough to ensure Andy's Safety for the near future! This has been Carp Carruthers on the Stream
Thts prob stocked andy buddy.. check the dorsal scar tissue.. thts a way to tell for serten MAFRIEND if wild or stocked. 🇬🇧🎣👍✌😎was a stuning Brown enyway mafriend well DONE 🎣🎣
Thanks Colin, very kind! Up here it's pretty simple at this time of year, there's only really two hatches w need to worry about - blue winged olives and caddis. BWO duns from 18-22 and caddis from 14 to 18 pretty much is the staple 👍
Thank you both, your videos are great fun! I hope I get to the UK to fish your beautiful streams soon.
Sooooo happy I found your channel. I love the challenge thing.
